I used to enjoy coming to Happiness Nail Bar, but unfortunately the quality of their pedicures has really gone downhill. My daughter and I both left very disappointed with the results. Our nails were messy, uneven, and looked rushed instead of professionally done. To make matters worse, the prices are high, so I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Just dropped in for a simple pedicure no polish just wanted to get toenails cut shaped edges buffed so there is no ruff edges. And I guess since I wasn't getting polish I wasn't worth time. I got the #2 on the sheet so was asking for a little extra over the basic. She was done in 15 minutes didn't use the hot stones no massage and charging me for the more expensive pedicure. The look on her face when I told her I wasn't paying for the #2 and I went to the front and told the gal at the register I was only paying for the #1. And I have never not tipped but this gal was the worst and I did not leave a tip. I've been at this place before and never experienced anything like this. read more

I would like to share my dissatisfaction with the gelx manicure and gel pedicure that I received. I was at the salon for over 2 1/2 hours and spent a significant amount of money yet the results are very poor. My manicure had uneven white tips, mismatched nail sizes and overall sloppy application. I had to ask Cindy, the nail tech, to correct several issues, and even after that the quality is not acceptable. Also, concerning my pedicure left me with a crooked toenail, which has never happened to me before this experience has been extremely disappointing and I hope this salon takes this feedback seriously. read more

Although I've been here before and am familiar with their great service, I just get disappointed that when I don't go for the most expensive services they tend to say something about it. I only get what's in my budget and if their prices were a little more affordable I would go all out, but I understand we are in a bad economy. I came in on Friday at 11:45am and it was crowded ! I had a bad experience today . I came for a service on my birthday ....I was really disappointed with my pedicure experience. the tools did not appear properly sanitized!!! They should be sealed in sanitation pouches !!! I have been around many nail techs and cosmetologists that have better sanitation for their supplies . It made me very uncomfortable. The pedicure itself felt careless--cuticles were poorly done, polish was uneven, and there was no attention to detail. I also experienced discomfort during the service due to rough handling. Decided to give this place a try since it was under new management. We called less than a hour before closing and they were able to take us in for 2 pedicures and a lasg minute dip powder. They were not pushy on services, they asked once if I wanted Gel Polish and once I said "no" they didn't push. As for the dip powder, the process was totally different. The nail tech seemed to know what she was doing. No Gel, No overexagerating amount of filing, and No tapping on the dip powder. read more

My 3 daughters and I have been getting gel manicures here for years and never had a bad experience until today. I called in around 4 to ask if they had any availability left, they told me to come in 20min which I did. I waited briefly, they kept trying to get me to sit for a pedicure as well which I declined since I'm not due for that yet. I sat down with a girl I've never had before who asked what color I wanted and when I asked to see the color book she rolled her eyes, pushed my hands away and said "Oh my god!". She asked me what kind of gel I wanted, I said "Just a regular gel manicure", she kept pressing me WHAT KIND of gel. I'm not sure what that means since I've never specified anything before, always just gotten a gel mani. After several more of her outbursts and clearly complaining about my lack of knowledge to her coworkers, she passed me off to someone else who also kept asking what kind of gel I wanted. I keep my nails short (to my fingertips) for work and a busy lifestyle. The girl kept telling me they couldn't do a gel manicure because the gel would "fall off in my hair" (I still have no idea what that means) and that I needed a more expensive kind of manicure to make my nails longer (not something I asked for or wanted). I declined and stuck with my regular gel manicure which clearly upset them, resulting in a rushed service. I've never had such a rude experience anywhere, especially here but I guess I will now be looking for a new spot for myself and my daughters to go as we will NEVER return here again! read more

Always a great experience. Lucy was so sweet and was careful with my cutting me accidentally with the drill (which can happen sometimes). I asked for a very natural manicure and she brought me all her favorite gel colors and tried them on me before starting so that I could see which I like best. It was extremely busy being Mother's Day weekend, yet she didn't make the experience feel rushed and made sure to fix one of my nails that were already broken. Had my daughter waiting for me to take her to her sports practice at 6. Needless to say, my daughter was late to her practice.
