I finally had time to treat myself to a pedicure and ended up coming here instead of my usual place. Well the nail tech said I had an ingrown and kept picking to remove it. I told her a few times it hurt and the skin felt very sensitive after and she kept picking at it anyway. Well today my toe was hurting and when I pressed the side of where she kept picking I noticed white pus, yuck! Needless to say I'll be taking a pedicure break and only sticking to my usual place. read more

If i could give this place zero stars i would , to be quite frank walking into the nail shop is unpresentable as is the customer service. I originally came to this location based on a referral from my mother who lives in the community near by. Originally the owner was helping a customer ahead of me. I had sat down and waited my turn. Initially another older women walked in along with her daughter. She spoke to the women , with instance and gratitude. The client mentioned that she and her daughter were both scheduled for two manicures / pedicures . Initially the owner never spoke to me , offered service .. or even to greeted me. But she did make eye contact with me more than three times , which i thought was rude. Initially i called " Paris Nails " and they said i could come right then and there . They were located on Newport rd. just up the street from lovely nails. I ended up leaving & then coming back to the salon after my natural nails where done .. just to confront her for her i'll service. I brought my mother whom has gotten her nails done there , and is the person who referred me . She kindly addressed the issue and of course the good ole " maybe it wasn't me " , " I'm sorry " . Theirs also a male that by the name of Kevin , who interrupted the conversation as he was giving a pedicure. Expressing " She already apologized .. " i kindly explained to the man , this was not his personal conversation , and this matter didn't pertain to him in no disrespect . In the picture here shown is the client as spoken about above. Went to get a hard gel manicure with gel nail polish. The photos show how these are lumpy. After 2 days my nails cracked. I do admit it took me 6 days before I could go in to get them fixed. (I work). I went in today and was treated rudely by a "lady" who worked there. So yes I was triggered. Then when the "man" who did this horrible job came to fix it. I told him about the lumps and he blamed me! He said it was something I did when I got home. I asked what could I have done to a product that all of these nail salons push on us to get because of how great it is? I was done with the poor treatment and asked for a refund to which this "man" became very aggressive and even postured in a way that I felt very threatened. I mentioned calling police to intervene to which he became more irate and called the police on me! I walked out without incident and touched base with MPD myself to ask what to do next. Of course it's civil blah blah blah but they can send an officer to mediate. Which seemed like a really foolish way to waste an officers time. And I was humiliated enough by this horrible experience. BUYER BEWARE!! You will NOT be treated well. Learn from my experience and don't fall victim to this unkind nail salon. First and last visit. An experience I am too mature to deal with. Needed a new pedicure place. Read reviews and saw this was #1. Called late on a Saturday afternoon and they said to come right in. I'm pleased to say I don't have to shop around any more.! 'Paul #1' was so wonderfully caring. Scrubbed my feet until they were smooth and was so proud of his work. Perfection! Prices were amazing: $23 for Basic, $28 for callous removal and $31 for Deluxe. Paul is probably one of my favs. Paul did my pedicure, he took his time, and was very patient and professional Always pays attention to detail and gentle with my toes and feet. Dana did my manicure and I'm still in awe of how great my nails look.. I got the ombré coffin w/ gel French tip. And I'm still in love . Dana thank you so much. I'm super grateful and thankful. By the time my pedicure was just about done it was almost closing time. They were so awesome they stayed open a little later. I really appreciate all you do. . Everyone there is super nice. Formerly K'Linh Nails, but the same great manicurists are working there so do not fret! I went today as a walk-in for a gel polish change and to have my toenails clipped. Got in and out very promptly which was nice! They seem to be doing some upgrades, like big-screen TVs, but they do NOT blast the volume which is good. Instead of 1970s music, they play light jazz, which is much better for a spa environment. Towels seemed MUCH whiter than the ones K'Linh was using (the little things I always notice). read more

Well... Well, I stopped coming here about 8 months ago, if not more! I stopped coming because I wanted to let my hands rest. After knowing that there was a new owner, I decided to come and give it a try so I got a full set. Actually, I'm surprised by the excellent work they did to me!!! 15 days ago I did my nails and obviously I needed a fill already; but during those 15 days my nails remained INTACT and in excellent condition. They never broke, noe discoloredor and the truth is that I am fascinated with the work they do. I hope you guys keep up the good work so your bussiness can grow and most important...So that your customers don't leave!!! Day 1 after getting my manicure 1 nail chipped. Day 2, 2 nails chipped. Today is day 5 and 6 nails are chipped. So, your powder dip manicure will only last you 24 hours and you will look messy as hell within a week. I called to see if they could fix this but no one answered. I left a message and no one called back. I really enjoy coming here because I like how both my toes and gel manicures turn out. Everyone here is great at their job and very kind. It's also conveniently close to my home. The main issue is their scheduling. It's been three times that I have scheduled an appointment, I show up on time and have to wait anywhere from 20-30 minutes for them to actually start my service. I have also noticed that other customers have to wait a while as well, which could be due to the salon accepting walk-ins and adding to the schedule. While I understand that they may get busy and scheduling could be a challenge, I rather have them tell me they are booked and to schedule for another day/time. read more

The man was so rude, didn't even seem apologetic claimed it was my fault for asking for a acrylic removal. I did get his name but he is the old one with receding hairline thin grey hair. read more

I decided to try Lovely Nails since they had several good reviews. I was very disappointed. Customer service is severely lacking. I could have overlooked the antiquated salon and hard pedicure chairs had I had a smidgeon of customer service. As far as the actual pedicure I will rate that a 4. I have been coming here for awhile now. The customer service is always excellent. Everything is clean and sanitized, they even have plexiglass for extra precautions while your nails are being done. There are 2 Pauls, one does pedis and the other nails. Both of them are excellent. The signature pedi is a great value for the money, includes a wonderful massage. read more

The only reason I'm giving 1 start is because Heather gave me an amazing pedi. Other than that Tina pretty much acted like she was doing us favor by fixing my mom's nails that she so poorly did. I had received 2 $55 gift certificates from my husband last year and due to Covid and this business being closed, I had to use until now. But they did not want to validate the gift certificates. I got my nails done here for the first time yesterday and sad to say I will not be going back. I gave two stars since the workers were nice. I could've painted my nails better myself, but I wanted gel. The woman did not clean my cuticles right and did a horrible job painting. The gel is already lifting and chipping off and it's only been a day. I felt like she rushed the whole process. I didn't want to lift it for the picture Bc I paid $38 for this. I went yesterday for a manicure and pedicure and I was disappointed. my pedicure was done in a hurry, I attended a cosmetology school a while back and I was upset how the lady rushed through. The cuticle was not removed my heels and bottom of my foot feel rough. I know Paul is the BEST there's also a lady that wears glasses she's good too. The lady with short hair did my pedicure. Kathy did my nails also not a good job she rushed and nails are lumpy. Theres a man that does nails he is also the BEST.
