I was always happy going to this nail Salon. It's close to me , it's clean and the people are nice. I went there yesterday to get a fill. My daughter came with me even though she wasn't going to get her nails done. Once I got there and they attended me I asked how much it would be to just paint her nails. No manicure or anything, just paint. The lady told me $8 for regular nail and $10 for gel. I said ok, can you just put the gel nail polish on my daughter? No manicure or anything. Once we were done she ended up charging me $30 for the nail color. I told her that she said it was $10 for gel. She said no. It's $10 for regular polish. $30 is a lot of money for just a color so I asked her, if that is $30 then how much is a manicure? She said $35 for a gel manicure. That doesn't make sense! Two different people did my pedicure and manicure. The lady who did my pedicure kept pushing for gel, when I already said just polish twice! Not sure if it's her eyesight, but my toes' skin even got painted on...why? I didn't see it until I got home and looked at them up close. Plus, I asked for the basic pedicure coz I only needed it cleaned and have polish. But no! She went to the next level treatment ($18 worth) and did a spa-like procedure. Yet, it looked like I could've done this pedicure myself! You'll see on the pics some remnants of polish OUTSIDE of the nails. I actually had to pick the polish off the skin coz it looked ridiculous. Don't even get me started on the cuticles. As for my manicure, I preferred gel because it'll be seen much more and endure more than my toes. Lily is fast and efficient. She made sure I liked the amount of coats and if I'm happy with them. Overall, it was okay. I just really needed something done because of an event the next day. But to pay $43 + tips, I'd expect my toes to be atleast painted within the nail I'll try to get everything done by Lily next time. It's hard when you don't have a nail tech that knows what you want, it'll just always be a hit or miss, usually the latter. read more

Very clean, when getting manis or pedis clean, newly sterilized stuff is always used. The staff is friendly and speaks english to you so you don't feel left out. Speaking of staff, they DO offer other services but they aren't too pushy about it which is a real turnoff at lots of other nail places. One of these services is a 15 minute neck and shoulder massage for only $15 which is well worth it. Eyelash extensions are now available and I tried them for the first time, they were GREAT but don't last very long. Maybe a few weeks but still, a great novelty service. Eyebrow waxing is quick, relatively painless, and they sculpt your brows the way YOU ask. Nice place. read more

I went to this place yesterday. They weren't busy. I was told no appointments were available to come back today. She never took my name or phone number. Just come back at 0900 for the other side. I get there at 854 no one knows who I or what services I required. I had to wait 20 mins to be placed for my pedicure then another 20 minutes before someone started on my feet. Then the poor lady was rushed by her boss to hurry. I never got a chance to get my manicure because it wasn't gel manicure. I won't go back not will I recommend to anyone. I don't usually say anything about race but all the people in both sides of their shop were white. Can't wait to go back to my regular mail shop in Menifee Happy Nails. I should have left as soon as I sat down in the chair. The place is dirty. They didn't even bother to clean up their surrounding tables full of starbucks drinks and food. It was nasty. The one star if for taking me as a walk-in. My wait time was only 15 minutes. I came in to get a full set and I probably would have done a better job doing my nails myself. I had said, "OUCH!" and pulled my hand away four times and she would just say sorry and do it again. She even cut part of my skin off when she was buffing down the side of the nail. I asked for a specific shape and instead of just doing it, she tried to persuade me three times that it would not look good. She made my nails sooo think. When I went home, I had to file them down myself to get them to the shape I wanted. While I was there, another client came in to get a pedicure and the host didn't even give her enough time to dip her feet in the water and she was already asking, "WHAT COLOR?" in a very rude way. And THEN, she got the color, walked over the client and said, "HERE." I was shocked that she made the client hold it. She could have easily given it to the technician or better yet just leave the polish on the technician's roll-away. She was really rude. It was not worth the price, time, nor my desperation to get my nails done. read more

Okay, I love nothing more than 5 starring an establishment, however...I cant. One star in its own is a stretch. I had a hard time even finding the place on Yelp due to the fact that the image posted by "Deb M." is of another salon, but after some Google Maps snooping, not to mention I was positive on the name, I figured it out positively :) Now, I clearly stated I was on my lunch, (any girl knows a mani can be done on an hour lunch within a 3 mile radius from your work). They said "no problem pick color, sit down." So, I did just that, the place was VERY cluttered with weird decor and hand written "banners" all over the walls explaining different procedures and upsales. They were all dressed in way too casual of street clothes including a guy in a baseball cap and a sport shirt...but all very raggy. she started to soak my hands after removing my polish, then a girl came in for what must have been an entire body wax and my nail lady tried to convince me my hands needed to soak longer than normal because my cuticles were not soft, lol, yeah, sure. 15 minutes + later, I finally said something, so some other lady came over and wanted to know where she left off, I told her she made me soak the whole dang time, the lady asked me why?! so I explained,this yelp almost exactly to them and then I left. read more

Great place to stop in and feel like they won't take an arm and a leg when all you want is a mani and a pedi. The staff is VERY VERY friendly and have always done a great job on my nails. The manicures and pedicures last longer than other places I have been to, and their prices are very reasonable!! I have even gone during my lunch hour and have been out in 40 minutes for a full mani and pedi! It does tend to get crowded, even weekend mornings, but the staff does it best to accomodate everyone. read more

She won't pressure you to buy any extra services which I love because I always feel uncomfortable having to keep saying "no". She's very experienced and does an incredible job on my nails and eyebrows. I can never decide on a color so she politely gives her opinion (without being pushy) and it ends up being cute and the one I want:) So if you're going to go here, make an appointment with Dorothy and if she's not available, ask for Jennifer. WORST SERVICE EVER!!! This place is definitely NOT happy and absolutely NOT professional. Me and my 3 coworkers ended up here after getting sent away from American Star Nails (same shopping center) even tho we already had set appointments the day before (I left a review on theirs as well). Walked in and asked for 2 spa pedicures and one polish change. The young woman on the counter rolled her eyes and gave us attitude as if we were burdening her. Came back and told us "ok 3 Spa pedicures" my coworker said no only two Spa pedicures just one polish change the young woman again with extreme attitude rolled her eyes and told us to pick our color. At this point it was still before 7 p.m. their closing time, and we checked the front door and it said walk-ins welcome, we were not feeling very welcome already. We all wanted to sit together so we told them we would wait until two chairs opened up next to each other. I decided to get my polish change first since it would only take a couple minutes and then about 10 minutes later one of the ladies asked my coworkers to sit in chairs on opposite sides of an existing customer. We then told the lady we wanted to sit together we will wait she said there was no waiting and that she could sit in the chair. I told her "what is the point of all of us coming out to enjoy our time together if we're going to be separated in the process?" The lady told us we still could not wait so we decided to leave I had just finished my polish changed and walked up to the front counter again to the young woman and started to pull out my card to pay, she then YELLED at me and waved her hands towards the other counter and said "you go pay over there!" HORRIBLE customer service. We left very upset obviously and all agreed that we would ever return! I thought it was a little old looking inside and run down compared to other places i've gone to but when i sat down and Tammy was doing my pedicure i was in heaven and pure bliss. I wanted the full pedicure that was 40$ and comes with a marine scrub, citrus crumb, and mask which most places just do the citrus scrub. I got the full princess services i felt and Tammy did a great job getting my callouses off and softened. Not that my feet are bad in the first place but she look like 8 minutes alone just to scrub my feet extra well. My friend came with me and got a gel manicure and it turned out super good.
