Overall, I paid $97.00 and left completely unsatisfied. The pedicure was just okay, but definitely not worth the price. I was charged $57 for a regular pedicure with gel, which is very overpriced. Their cheaper pedicure option didn't even include the basic services that most salons offer as part of a standard pedicure. I was also charged $23 for a manicure--with no polish, just cleaning--and I'll attach a photo showing the result. My nails look horrible. Their attention to detail is zero, and the cuticles and skin around my nails were barely touched. They definitely don't look like I even received a manicure. Yesterday, 9/19, I went to get a mani/ped. I had an elderly lady "Anna", it was literally the worst mani/ ped I have ever had! I had been looking forward to it for months. I cannot afford to go very often. This lady was so uninterested in giving a good service. She massaged me with her fingertips and nails, not looking at me once. I've visited True Touch Nails and Spa twice now, and unfortunately, my experiences have been quite different. The first time, the service was excellent, and I left feeling really happy with my nails. However, when I returned a few months later for Gel X again, I was extremely disappointed. Despite being seen promptly and serviced by a friendly guy, the $80 nails (which came to $90 with tip) didn't live up to the price tag. The purple French tip I requested had sloppy lines that weren't worth the cost. To make matters worse, less than a week later, one of the nails fell off. Now it's natural to accidentally break a nail, however I didn't even notice the nail literally fall off because my finger wasn't sore nor did it hurt. The nail just literally fell off and there were air bubbles underneath my other nine nails - a sign of poor application. Again keep in mind I've only had these nails on less than a week! When I called to ask for a fix, they initially wanted to charge me, despite the hefty amount I'd just spent. Eventually, they agreed to fix it for free but made excuses about the quality of my nails or the Gel X technique. I've been getting Gel X for a couple years now , and my nails typically last four weeks. When I went back to fix my nail the lady insisted that the same guy who initially did my nails should fix them, even though I wasn't satisfied with his work and the repair would only be free if he was the one who fixed it. It's clear from reading other reviews that my experience isn't unique. I was curious to see what other people had to say about their experience and what they say is true!! This nail place is EXTREMELY wishy washy with service and is overpriced! I will never make the mistake of coming back and I encourage you to get your nails done elsewhere! read more

TLDR: Don't go for your wedding (in my case), birthday, or ANY special occasion with multiple people. Don't go at all, it's not worth the heap of issues we dealt with. Jan 3, 2020. It was a BAD experience from the beginning to the end. Tried my best to be a bridechilla, not a bridezilla. Here's the story. My sister made an advance reservation for me, my bridesmaids and friends (7 total) and told them that it would be a mix of services needed (manicures and pedicures). Since we were coming in from all over the state and even out of state, my sister didn't know the exact details of what we wanted - but wasn't asked for details either during the phone call. We walk in right on time, and we see a clean, nice salon, but with only 3 staff - one of them occupied. The manager blamed us for not telling them that 2 of us wanted acrylics and that's why they didn't have more staff. We tried to be courteous, but it's not our responsibility to make sure they have enough staff (we used more diplomatic wording). After an hour of waiting, one of my bridesmaids left to the next closest salon. The rest chose to stay, and luckily some more staff were called in. The gel color I chose was a shear pearly shimmer, and the result I got was stark white with a glitter top coat - completely different from the nail sample! My nail tech insisted that this is what I asked for, to which I calmly disagreed and said that there must have been an misunderstanding. Normally I would just pay and go, but this was the night before my wedding and I really wanted something more classy/natural. I then asked the only tech who spoke clear English (who also did a fantastic job on my bridesmaids ombré! That's why I give 2 stars, at least one tech was a pro) and she helped with the miscommunication. However, they still charged me a $5 fee to fix their misunderstanding and my nail tech - impatient with the whole thing - literally PUSHED me to my seat. Not to the point of falling, but WAY past the point of a gentle "this way" gesture. I calmly asked her not to push me, to which she dismissed me. I was stunned, but didn't have much choice but continue the service - most other salons would have been closed by then, since it's a sleepy suburb. I tried to just be polite and just get through it. The resulting pink nails with glitter was better, but her application was not very precise or clean. And when it came time to pay, she asked me for a tip! I then asked if I could put it in myself, and she said no. Too embarrassed to say the truth - that I was very unhappy with the service and did not wish to tip - I gave a $5 tip to avoid adding to the tension. I regret not being more honest, especially since my manicure gel and regular pedicure was very expensive. If you've read up to here, I'm sure you'll see that the staff here need to get their s*** together or hire new people, because their customer service is terrible and only 1 or 2 techs are multiskilled in their craft AND can clearly communicate. Please note that I don't mean to pick on English learners, my husband is also a first gen immigrant, it was the overall "it's your fault" attitude that made what could have been an OK evening into a bad one. read more

My nail gal just had a baby and is taking a well needed leave to bond with her knee little one so I needed to get a fill. First off, the place was dead. Not one other person in there. I should have known to walk out then. My nail lady I think does more pedicures than fills, cause she was VERY slow and seemed like she had to remember what to do next. She jacked up my thumb and ring finger. I would have had her fix it, but 1 hour and 10 minutes for a fill is just crazy. Worst service with Anna or Ann I wanted to do sns nails for my daughter. My daughter and I picked a light blue color for my daughters nails and showed it to Ann. Then Ann asked my daughter to pick up the powder. MY DAUGHTER PICKED A LIGHT BLUE POWDER AND Ann applied it on her nails. It turned out the color is dark blue. I asked Ann to remove it and apply the light blue color but she said it will ruin my daughter nails. I told her that i hated that color and i wont pay for it(30$) She started accusing me and she said u cannt do that everytime. I told her that its my second time in their store and she said that iam a liar. I asked to speak with a manager and there was no manager . I went in for a pedicure and the condescending lady at the counter did not even say hello or have a greeting. She looked at me and said "what do you need?" At that point I should have turned and left right away. She and the other technicians were so busy purchasing food from a vendor that they couldn't even greet a customer. The young lady who did my pedicure was pleasant and apologized for them. Unfortunately her quality was substandard. In fact, she did a horrible job. The lotion they use was so cheap that once I got outside I could see that my feet were extremely ashy and my toes were white from acetone residue and clear polish was on my skin.
