The entire experience was incredibly relaxing, and you can tell she really cares about making you feel comfortable from start to finish. My hair has never felt this soft, healthy, and nourished. It honestly feels like it got a reset. If you're looking for a way to unwind while also giving your hair some much-needed TLC, I can't recommend this enough. So I tried this place again, last time I had an older gentleman give me a pedicure, and 2 weeks later, I had a painful ingrown. Made an appointment and was greeted by a lady dying her hair.........who then took a client while dying her hair .............this time a younger guy did my pedicure.... Horrible! I had Thomas. I go to have a pedicure to cleanup my feet, but also to relax my pedicure. Online says it's a 40 minute pedicure. He took less than 25 minutes. There was a lady already sitting in the chair with somebody else that was there when I got there and that was still there when I left and she had the same service I did. I was just very dissatisfied. Do not ask for Thomas, which I didn't ask for, I did not get the person I had set up an appointment with. This is just who they gave me. read more

It was my first time and I was a walk in customer. As soon as I walked in I was asked what I wanted. I told the nail tech I wanted a gel manicure and I was attended to. It was a bit pricey $60 but the whole experience was good. It included massage, oil and hot stone massage and hot towel removal of the lotion too. Also, they use clean disposable pedicure kit such as a file, and a sponge per customer. read more

I like this shop as a whole. I visited in March for 1st time looking for a gel manicure and was given an option to try "hybrid" gel nails. These are much like acrylics but supposedly "less damaging and less toxic" also odorless. I have been back to have them "filled" every couple weeks. Most times it is not a "fill" that happens for one reason or another and they do try to upset pretty hard. It is $65 for the set, I tip $10...so it is very pricey. I don't like feeling rushed, and make sure YOU ask to rinse your hands before the half heated attempt at the lotion and "massage" at the end. I just don't think anyone needs that dust rubbed into our largest organ, our skin. I am only continuing a few more months and then have them removed and let the damage grow out. My nails are even thinner than they were before I started this expensive venture, which is not good at all...but I plan to get regular manicures to help with the hangnails and horrors of that process. I have not had acrylics or any regular nail services prior to this...just the occasional mani pedi a couple times a year. I Trimmed way down. my nails are so thin now, more than when I began this in March, the product starts to wear around my nail beds fast as I have developed no curvature on a few nails now, instead of only 1 back in March. I liike the music here and it is 5 minutes from my home. Give them a try. Ask pricing for each think offered, don't assume it is included in the initial service you requested. read more

I came in for a pedicure ($45 dollars) and while I was there, I asked them to do a color change on my nails. I have gel nail polish. They quickly changed the color and it looked great. When I went to check out, I was told that I owed $90! I was shocked. I let her know I only had a pedicure and polish change, I thought there were some mistake. But no, a simple color change on my nails was $45! I still can't get over it. They did not do a manicure. They did not clean my nails or do anything special, no cuticle cleaning. I simply had a color change! I feel like I was robbed. I have no problem paying for service, but that is absurd. I live around the corner and I will never go back there again. Ironically, I talked to my girlfriends to tell them what happened and funny enough..They had a similar experience with pricing and quality and no longer go to this nail salon and I had no idea! That's ridiculous. Quality of the service wasn't good either. She said it included 15 min massage and she started her timer before the massage portion of the pedicure so it would go off quickly. At Sunshine I had Cindy and told her about my last experience somewhere else and she was super in making sure she wasn't hurting me and she did an absolute amazing job on my French Tips! I also brought a friends daughter with me and they were amazing to her and very kind and did a lovely job on her manicure and since I was getting a special job on my French Tips done they gave her a pedicure as well and she is absolutely in love with it all! I'm so disappointed in this nail salon. My daughter had an appointment today at 2 pm. and didn't get taken in until 2:30pm. The owner had a stick up her a** the whole time. I had to ask her if she was okay because they seemed on edge. That's so wrong of her to have attitude, especially because she's the owner. If she can't handle the pressure, she shouldn't be in this industry. She couldn't do the design my daughter wanted for prom, so we even made it easy on her and went with something more simple. I don't think her work was worth $200!! I will never go back again. I'm only giving this place a one-star because I have to. Be aware DO NOT go to this place. I absolutely love the acrylics I get at this salon every single time. I've been going here for 2 and a half years and the staff has always been so kind. I usually walk in because I know I'd be in good hands no matter who does my nails. Super bummed I'm moving away, will miss this place for sure! Edit: forgot to mention the pricing is great. Other places will charge extra for gel polish on an acrylic set or even a few dollars more just for matte top coat. Ancy has been my nail tech for a couple of months now and I am always pleased with my nails, she always exceeds my expectations and I'm very picky so that's saying something. She remembers me and it's always personable which is also important to me ! I will say you need to have patience, as a beauty service member myself as well, quality takes time, everyone now days wants cheap, fast and exceptional work, I have news for you you can't have all three, doesn't work like that. WORST NAIL SALON AROUND!!! Came in at 10am and didn't leave until 12:40pm. They wouldn't fill my nails. The owner demanded to take off my old set and put a new one on. So I said ok. Took FOREVER!!! I didn't get a design or anything fancy. I go to leave and pay and they say $210!! Are you kidding me. Now only 5 days later I have a whole in my finger that's bleeding. I also have THREE nails That are lifting. They are not even. They look like claws with a curve! Lifting, broken and ugly nails for $210. How disgusting to charge that much for crappy nails! I've been to a few nail techs here(3 separate times all different techs), all capable of good work. Cindy would be my personal favorite for hands. The options in their applications(types of products to increase the nail strength and/or length) are by far my favorite. This shop has the typical products such as acrylic but my personal favorite is this other stuff that's kinda like paste, think it's called T.A.P.? I could be wrong. It's as sturdy as acrylic only it's so much kinder to the nail bed if a nail falls off between fillings or you no longer want to have nails. They're not lacking in color options either . . . Even glow in the dark acrylics and colors. Okay so they do great nails and have options on EVERYTHING but that's not the reason for my review. . . . Dude, . . . THEIR COFFEE a MUST TRY!!!!! I hope she goes back to what it was when it first opened because they were very clean and they were using new equipment on every patient instead of reusing.
