I have never had any problems until this past time that lead me into the er to get my toe drained after I got a bad infection from getting a pedicure last Tuesday. Usually they are clean and careful the lady who had me did clean my toe after making me bleed from removing an ingrown but the next day it was all pus and it progressively got worse to where I wasn't able to put pressure so today I had to go in to get my toe drained and the rest of the ingrown properly removed. Upon sitting, I asked for a mani pedi and a specific design I wanted. After that, they started on my nails and toes, took about 1 1/2 hours. During the time they did my hands, I did notice that there was an excess of gel underneath some of my nails. Some of my other nails, like my thumb seems to have a huge gap. I wasn't sure if that was normal but I didn't speak up. I After I finished, I went home and noticed it even more after cooking and prepping food, the food would get stuck underneath my nails! The nails are beautiful nice shape not too thick and she always has great taste in choosing colors for me. The designs she does are always so pretty. I've gone here multiple times and have never had quite good service. I've continued to go back out of convenience, but will never do that again. This most recent time, I went in for a gel manicure on my natural nails, when I walked in the door, my nails were thick and healthy. After my service, I was left with brittle nails that bend easily. The person who did my nails is incapable of filling them straight, it's been something I've spoken up about before, but was ignored. She used the nail file on my nails so much plus she soaked my entire hands in acetone for at least twenty minutes...I wish I never would have gone there in the first place. Not to mention the receptionist who has an attitude and does nothing to help with customer concerns. I paid almost $50 for them to ruin my nails. read more

I went in for a manicure and a pedicure. I had grown out my nails rather long and wanted to keep them as is. The nail tech removed the gel I had with a drill and filled my nails down to the bed. They were so thin one of my nails chipped down the middle and my nail bed was red and bruised. Another tech recommended hot gel (I had no idea what it was) because it would strengthen the nail. However, since the tech working on my nails drilled them super thin, upon using the UV light my nails BURNED. It was extremely painful. I have a high pain tolerance and I could not handle it. Both the techs working on my pedicure and manicure seemed upset that I could not sit still from the pain. I asked them if the pain was normal and they said it was. The woman working on my pedicure started giving me attitude because I was struggling to listen to her direction while being in pain due to the hot gel manicure that was being done at the same time. I had to request that she stop the service. I finished getting my manicure but the tech did a sloppy job with my design. Not only that- all my nails are now different lengths and were not cut evenly. I will now have to regrow my nails another 4-5 months to get them to the length and strength they were at prior to getting a service at this establishment. I communicated multiple times they were my natural nails and I hoped they would do their best to do minimal damage to them. Overall, I was looking forward to try a new nail spot out. I was disappointed by the lack of information provided when I asked about the hot gel, how excruciatingly painful the process was (I know there is a little sting when using the UV light.. but this pain was beyond a small sting and I believe it is due to the over drilling) and the bad attitude the techs and receptionist showed. I don't usually leave reviews but I wanted to bring awareness. They still charged me $100 for an unfinished pedicure and my manicure (which I guess I understand since I got diamonds and a design? idk... ) My friend has been before and she enjoys the pedicure services offered but also mentioned some of the techs can be rude to the customers. Summary: This place has made me bleed multiple times and I got a nail fungus on 3 nails. The good techs are amazing! The bad ones, are BAD. Very hit or miss. So I've been here tons of times and it's VERY hit or miss. Some nail tech are amazing! (Hence the two stars.) Others are not very experienced and a little rough. (One time a tech ripped my acrylics off without soaking them first and ripped part of my natural nail off exposing my bleeding, tender skin below. She then slapped on something that stung and just put acrylic over it. Cool. I was in pain for DAYS.) 4 weeks ago I got an acrylic fill and they were pretty grown out. Unfortunately I don't remember her name since when I made the appointment I said anyone available would work for me since I figured anyone hired there should know how to do nails. Since they were grown out, two of the nails had fallen off. I suggested maybe I needed a new set. She said no and she could make it work. I appreciated her trying to save me money and trusted she knew what she was doing. The two that she put on new lasted maybe 1 week and then just fell off. The other nails she tried to salvage by cutting away the parts that were lifting and then went over it in the typical way you would with a fill with new acrylic. The main difference I noticed was some of the lifting acrylic should have been cut back way more than she did, and instead of cutting the acrylic back until she found the parts of the acrylic that were securely fixed to the nail, she literally got super glue and glued the small piece of acrylic down, and put new acrylic over it. I should have said something bc I've never experienced this before, but I really thought about the fact that I'm not a nail expert and she did go to school to learn how to do this properly and to just let it go. Well- MY BAD. I should have gone with my gut. Turns out I got nail fungus in all the nails she had super glued down. I'm assuming there was water trapped in there since I had just washed my hands before getting my nails done. (As a curiously to my nail tech of course.) To be clear, I've had acrylics on and off for over a decade and this has never happened to me, so I know it wasn't my after care. Anyway, I'm not happy and going to find a new place as the prices are that of a luxury place, and not reflective of the services rendered. read more
