Dawn is the best!! I started going to Dawn for my brazilian wax around June and I'm upset that I didn't discover her sooner. I have sensitive skin, so I always look for someone that uses hard wax. I used to drive over an hour to OC to get it done. I was always sore afterwards and my skin would be super red. I came to believe that was normal because I thought my skin is just too sensitive. I just told myself "beauty is pain". But then I went to Dawn and I would feel little to no pain! Which is wayyy better than where I used to go and it would hurt like hell. She makes her own wax by blending 2 different kinds together. It's truly unique. I've never seen wax like that before and it does wonders for my sensitive skin. She's also very sanitary--she uses a new stick each time to get the wax and her room is clean. Getting a Brazilian wax is not the most comfortable thing in the world, but Dawn makes it more comfortable. She's so friendly and nice and I always enjoy talking to her! Located in a suite inside the Alexander's Spa & Salon. The inside of this salon is nice. The waiting area where Dawn is located is calm & relaxing. This was my first visit with Dawn, and she immediately put me at ease. Her suite was very clean and tastefully decorated. Dawn puts you at ease and answered all of my questions. She also offered to answer any questions that might arise later. After1 only a couple of minutes, we were talking effortlessly. She's definitely a people person with a good spirit. I appreciated the fact that she didn't try to upsell me on additional products or services like some other estheticians. It's clear right away that Dawn is very knowledgeable and knows what she's doing. She does NOT double-dip in the wax and uses a new stick each and every time!!! My original waxer retired, who I had been going to for 10+ years and I was panicked how I would trust and find someone new I liked. I found Dawn from a recommendation and also from yelp and gave her a shot. All I can say is I wish my original waxer would have retired sooner. Dawn is about the best its gets as far as waxing experience goes! I get my Brazilians done with her about every 4-6 weeks. It takes about 15 minutes tops, and i will not trust anybody else. She uses hard wax which is far less painless then any strip wax. I've been coming to her for about two years now and have no plans to change. Shes soo quick, the process is almost painless and she makes you feel completely comfortable the entire time. Her room is IMMACULATE, and air conditioned all the time.
