Checked out reviews on Yelp (thanks Yelp). Brittney had to cancel my original appointment because she got sick but a few days later, we got it done. Parking/Location: Free. A lot since it's in the same plaza as Walmart and Vons. However, the lot was also pretty busy. Easy to find because Brittney texted she was located inside the Phenix (that's how it's spelled) Salon Suites. When I arrived, the door was locked but someone exited and I was able to head in. Many little one-room beauty businesses inside. Service: Brittney was very nice and calm, which helped the scary waxing experience. Only I was nervous. She started promptly and though the wax was a little hot, she was correct in that it did cool quickly. She was friendly and kept up a conversation (which was good distraction) and very thoroughly completed in under the 30 minutes she quoted. Pain level was tolerable. My starts are based on the aftermath. I went to get a sugaring done today and based on that the sugaring let me know that my skin is lifting due to the previous waxing session. 1. The heat level of the wax is high. You aren't really considering the legal is sensitivity of a person private area. Do a skin test first on client and then proceed. 2. The wax was mot a high quality wax. Not only did my skin lift BUT right after my wax I notice irritation. I have a chemical sensitivity and I will break out in hives if something did not sit well. The wax did not sit well. 3. I like to be waxed throughly but I was not. I was patchy and a lot spots were missed. 4. Despite my review I will say you are professional and absolutely a sweet person.
