Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I left feeling uncomfortable and unheard. I have extremely sensitive skin and am allergic to several common acne treatment ingredients, including niacinamide, benzoyl peroxide, and salicylic acid. I was scheduled for a facial today, but Dalia advised postponing the treatment due to my allergies. I appreciated her reasoning and understood the decision. However, the way she addressed my concerns made me feel as though my sensitivities. particularly to salicylic acid, were being questioned or dismissed. Despite clearly communicating my allergy, I was recommended two ZO products totaling $200 that contain salicylic acid. Given my history, I did not feel comfortable making that purchase, as it would likely be ineffective and likely harmful to my dry, extremely sensitive skin. When I expressed hesitation due to my previous skin reactions, she mentioned that she doesn't receive commission on product sales and is only paid for facials. That comment made me uncomfortable, as I was simply trying to explain why the purchase didn't make sense for me, both financially and medically. Additionally, I was advised to stop moisturizing altogether, which is not suitable for me as I struggle with very dry skin, something I also mentioned during the consultation. Overall, I did not feel that my individual needs were acknowledged or respected, and for that reason, I've decided not to return. read more

Dalia is amaaaaaazing!! She was my skin saver after trying so many things, even accutane for 8 months. I'm almost 35 with adult/hormonal acne that accutane and retinol couldn't fix. When I first consulted with Dalia she promised to make my skin smooth again. I had developed several bumps on my face that I had come to find out were ‌sebaceous hyperplasia, which is a skin condition that becomes more common with age. It's caused when your sebaceous oil glands produce too much oil, which can be trapped under your skin and cause bumps. Dalia shared her own experience having the same condition, which was very reassuring in terms of her recommendation for the best treatment. We ended up treating it with electrocauterization where she uses an electrically charged needle to heat and vaporize each individual bump. She recommended not going too deep as to minimize the risk of scarring. She was absolutely right in how to treat it. While the procedure itself feels like tiny needles poking at you, it was really quite easy. She warned me of downtime being about 1-2 days of redness and after a week the possibility of developing a scab following the treatment, but once the scab falls off, the spot should be gone. Dalia also gave me a facial and microdermabrasion to make sure my skin was squeaky clean and smooth. I have visited Dalia 3 times in the last 2 months and I couldn't be happier about the results. read more

Her boutique is located in the Phenix salon suites in the same plaza as Vons and PetSmart. Upon arrival, if you're early like me, there is a little bench that you can sit and wait at. The restroom is located around the corner from her boutique so very convenient. There are also other suites there that you can check out and grab business cards for. When it was my time, Dalia greeted me and made me feel so welcomed from the start. I really appreciated how knowledgeable she was especially for a new client and someone new to facials. She was not condescending or rude but very understanding that I didn't have a great facial routine nor do I apply sun screen. She explained to me from start to end what the process was going to be and how she would go about doing it. She also explained to me about certain spots on my face that I was not even aware of. I really loved her facial because it just felt so refreshing. She did two cleanses and and exfoliating scrub on my face that was just amazing. It made my skin so soft! Then she applied a peel on my face for fast results. After the peel she put a sand eye cover that was lavender scented and smelled amazing! She removed it after a bit and then followed with an aloe mask along with a massage with eucalyptus scented oils. I treated my girlfriend to a facial after hearing she wanted to get one. I decided to check out Dalia's Skin Boutique at Phenix Suites and Saloons from a referral from a friend. The boutique is located to the right of the suites and conveniently located near the bathroom. There are benches to wait before your appointment. When inside, you have a chair to the left and a table where Dalia performs the facial. This was my first facial so I was excited and nervous. Not to be self conscious but I was concerned how my face was going to react to the treatment. Dalia is so nice and explained the procedure very thoroughly. She mentioned she opened the boutique a few months ago and that she used to work in Beverly Hills and traveled to Dubai to for work. I felt comfortable that she had over 10 years of experience. My dry face was in good hands. She asked me to take my shirt, glasses and watch off before the procedure. I then laid underneath the sheets where she first performed a steam treatment. The steam was so soothing. She then used a solution to clean my face. The solution helped loosen and get rid of the superficial layer of dirt. She then used this suction thing around my face to help clean my face further. The process reminded me of when you shampoo your carpet. I imagined all that dirt, oil and dead skin get sucked out of my pores. She then went to town on my nose to clear all the black heads. She said that my face wasn't too bad and that other clients needed more extensive cleaning because of their acne. The next step was she used this acid on my face. This step burned. It wasn't too bad but I started to panic when I felt it burning. My mom received a facial and her face was red. I didn't want that to happen to me but Dalia said that the burning sensation was normal. She fanned my face and it help cooled down the burning. The process wasn't too bad so I asked her to do it again. After that she used a lavender and eucalyptus blend on my face. The aromatic scent was so relaxing. She applied this aloe vera cream and that was so amazing. I felt that my skin absorbed all that cream. It was so soothing. The final step was she gave my arms, shoulder, neck and face a massage. She has a really delicate touch. I can see why other clients of hers would knock out during the procedure. Overall, I would highly recommend coming here. My facial took close to a hour. More than my girlfriend since my skin needed more work. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely come again. I can understand why my girlfriend gets a facial regularly. I have tried an endless number of face washes and creams, and nothing worked for my face... until I found Dalia. Dalia is an educated, experienced, and knowledgeable esthetician who renewed my skin and brought back its natural glow - a glow that I have never seen before. It took over a week for my sensitive skin to heal but let me tell you, it was worth the wait. Dalia's Skin Boutique is in a private suite inside Phenix Salon Suites. She sells and uses Obagi and her prices are average and vary depending on the facial treatment. Dalia spent over an hour with my skin. She's patient and thorough, and helped me understand my skin and what it needs. My facial included cleanser, exfoliator, glycolic acid peel, microdermabrasion, extractions, and 50 SPF sunscreen. She only applied three layers of the chemical peel and did the lowest level of microdermabrasion because I have young and sensitive skin. Note: I advise those with sensitive skin to be wary of the sunscreen and those with heightened senses to be wary of the strong smell of chemical peels. I learned that I have healthy skin that gets occasional breakouts and she said both the breakouts and rosacea are normal. Normal? You don't hear that often, especially from someone in the beauty industry. She's passionate about what she does and cares about her clients and it translates through her work. So happy I found Dalia. I have had problem skin for a while but she was able to take care of it starting in my first visit. When I first moved to Corona I found somebody that did good work but didn't quite take care of the problem, instead I was blamed for picking at my acne and "making it worst" not to mention the continuous increase in prices making it harder for me to save for each procedure. Once I found Dalia every single one of these talking points was a non issue. She helped clear my acne so there was nothing to pick at.
