I used to go to a different med spa for almost 3 years, and while everyone there was great, scheduling started to get a little difficult. I also didn't love that I would see a different person almost every time I went in for treatments. It just felt like I had to keep re explaining my goals over and over. I decided to try Skin Theory, and I'm really glad I did. They were able to get me in pretty quickly, and overall they just seem a lot more flexible with scheduling. One of the biggest things for me is consistency, and so far I've seen the same provider, Nurse David, which I really appreciate. It makes a huge difference when someone is already familiar with your face and what you're trying to achieve. David has been amazing. I went in for preventative injectables and specifically wanted to try Daxxify, which they offer. He was very attentive, listened to everything I was saying, and I never felt rushed, especially during my first consultation. He's very detail oriented and you can tell he genuinely cares about his work and his clients. He also answered all my questions thoroughly and made me feel really comfortable. One other thing I really appreciated was that he actually called me around the 7 day mark after my injections just to check in and see how I was doing. That's something I never experienced at the other place I used to go to, and it really shows how much he cares about his patients and their results. I had my first visit about two weeks ago and just went back yesterday for a follow up. I'm still fairly new to injectables, so I had more questions and even decided to add a couple of new areas I've never treated before. He walked me through everything again and made sure I felt confident moving forward. So far I'm really happy with my results and the overall experience. I'll definitely be continuing with Nurse David (hopefully he doesn't leave) and already plan to see him again in a couple of months. read more

Dubious Botox/Xeomin authenticity Went to this place for years and the injector always step outside and came back with syringes already filled outside of the procedure room and no bottles or boxes to show where the product came from. One day it dawned on me that a couple of previous providers actually opened the Botox in front of me and filled the syringes in my presence. I'm therefore unsure, what was being injected on me. Last time I went I asked for Botox and to have the syringes prepared in the room in my presence. I believe they brought Daxxify which is actually cheaper than Botox but was not charged lower. I noticed that after my request on my last and final visit in the spring 2025, this place started listing "Tox" in their marketing instead of Botox...Lastly, if you indeed get Botox you should join Alle and accumulate points for each treatment (same for Dysport, etc). Another questionable practice in this med spa is they never mentioned the manufacturer points program thus, no chance to redeem rewards from Allergan the maker of Botox ...they instead have their own internal points program where who knows what products are actually used. Ladies be very careful and ask to see the product and have it prepared in front on you! Response to business owner: This happened and I'm sure injector David remembers the incident/request. In many years of patronizing your business nobody mentioned not once being able to register for manufacturer's rewards programs. Other providers mention it in their marketing and are straightforward with it. I paid for Botox and was brought Daxxify when I asked to see the bottle - Daxxify is CHEAPER too. Lastly, you failed to address the fact that you prepare the syringes at a different room out of the view of the patients. Why do this..? This will ring true to your other patients. read more

I had been wanting lip fillers for a very long time for both aesthetic change and for anatomical correction due to scarring from traumatic events. It may not seem like much to others but I have been insecure about my lips for a while. I wanted big, borderline obnoxious change to hide my insecurities. I had been referred to this location by a close friend with incredible work. Staff is extremely welcoming and accommodating. I drive a good distance and feel well received every visit. David is incredible for his patience and eye for detail. But he hallmarks the experience by being honest and intentional in his procedure technique and explanation. He approached my case realistically to ensure my particular anatomy would be augmented to compliment me as an individual while addressing my concerns with grace and understanding. He's been thorough to ensure I have no concerns, misunderstanding or questions left unaddressed. I was comforted through every step with no pain or discomfort. Healing was excellent with minimal bruising and issues. The work speaks for itself, but impact of my results are deeply appreciated. I took a chance on this place as it had really great reviews. I was long overdue on my Botox and wanted to see if this would be my new place. I appreciate that others have had an excellent experience here, but for me personally, I would not return. They used a synthetic Botox called Xeomin*. The way they explained that this was a better option was that this product would give a more natural appearance, last longer, and it was cheaper. I was OK with it. The procedure itself was perfectly fine. I did notice they did not use a little ice pack to numb like my other place uses, and the injector used almost double the units that I had previously gotten with Botox. So in the end, how much less expensive was it? If you have to use double the product to get basically the same effect, I'm not sure it is worth it. But the issue I had was actually that there was some lumpiness to the injection site, in particular over my left inner brow close to my elevens. The injector said to expect some redness or mild swelling, which I totally was as this happens with Botox too, but the bump did not go away for at least a full week. It was tender for longer than a couple of days and I think that eyebrow looked a bit raised, which I specifically said I did not want. I did mention that 60+ units was excessive, but it seemed like the injector thought this was very normal. I am more in the range of 35 to 40 units when it comes to Botox, so I was not comfortable with this. When it comes to these treatments I think it is paramount to have a very comfortable and easy-going relationship with your injector, and I just don't think this was a match for me as the things I mentioned (Botox preference, less units, no eyebrow lift) were not really listened to. Definitely would be a personal choice if you want to try the place out, it may just be a perfect fit for someone else. *2/1/24 update: I want to add a correction and say that I incorrectly stated that Xeomin is a synthetic form of Botox.
