The doctor was super rushed and acted like he was on uppers or something... maybe he's just a hyper-active guy or maybe they are just very busy and need to keep the pace going fast. but he admitted to me that the girls in his marketing photos are not patients but paid models who have never been treated by him. Now why would you even tell me that? (while injecting my lips, mind you) . My results were not great. For some reason my lips swole up here more than ever before, I probably should have gone to the hospital but I waited it out. It's been three weeks since I had a triage of treatments done with the exemplary professional Nurse Ashley, including dissolver, Botox, and PRP with microneedling, and LET ME TELL YOU... I've yet to see such significant cellular turnover, purging, and subsequent rejuvenation of my skin. I went to Amanda yesterday for lip filler and she did an incredible job! It's only the day after the procedure and I have no bruising. Swelling lasted only a couple hours for me (I know this differs with everyone) but Amanda was super gentle and great at enhancing my lips to how I want them! Took advantage of their Black Friday sale and bought my lip package. First time getting filler with the needle and was a bit nervous on the process and how my lips would turn out. My session was booked at the Corona office with nurse Claire, as she's the nurse available for late sessions. Claire was very kind. I discussed with nurse Claire what I wanted and expressed that I did not want a lot of projection (no duck lips for me!). I identified interest in the Russian filler technique and nurse Claire suggested also adding in a "tenting" (think that what it was called, my nerves kinda blocked my hearing :-P) technique to increase volume to my sides of my lips as they're very thin. Did a quick virtual check in with Dr. B and moved forward with my filler. This place is rad because they provide a dental block so other than the sticks for the lidocaine (which felt like when you're at the dentist), I felt nothing. So far I've got no bruising and my lips aren't incredibly sore. Nurse Claire was great, kind, and did a great job. I'll definitely be back for more procedures to keep my vanity happy. I spent almost $4000 on kybella treatment. I saw absolutely zero difference. I went to another practitioner and was told due to my thyroid I was not a good candidate for kybella and why California Cosmetics didn't inform me as well. I informed Sherry at California Cosmetics my results and she told me Alisha the owner will contact me. I have yet to hear from Alisha, it's been over a month and no one has called me to resolve my complaint. After several attempts leaving messages, they have ignored me.
