I used to go to a different med spa for almost 3 years, and while everyone there was great,…read morescheduling started to get a little difficult. I also didn't love that I would see a different person almost every time I went in for treatments. It just felt like I had to keep re explaining my goals over and over. I decided to try Skin Theory, and I'm really glad I did. They were able to get me in pretty quickly, and overall they just seem a lot more flexible with scheduling. One of the biggest things for me is consistency, and so far I've seen the same provider, Nurse David, which I really appreciate. It makes a huge difference when someone is already familiar with your face and what you're trying to achieve. David has been amazing. I went in for preventative injectables and specifically wanted to try Daxxify, which they offer. He was very attentive, listened to everything I was saying, and I never felt rushed, especially during my first consultation. He's very detail oriented and you can tell he genuinely cares about his work and his clients. He also answered all my questions thoroughly and made me feel really comfortable. One other thing I really appreciated was that he actually called me around the 7 day mark after my injections just to check in and see how I was doing. That's something I never experienced at the other place I used to go to, and it really shows how much he cares about his patients and their results. I had my first visit about two weeks ago and just went back yesterday for a follow up. I'm still fairly new to injectables, so I had more questions and even decided to add a couple of new areas I've never treated before. He walked me through everything again and made sure I felt confident moving forward. So far I'm really happy with my results and the overall experience. I'll definitely be continuing with Nurse David (hopefully he doesn't leave) and already plan to see him again in a couple of months.

Add an appointment set up with them through Kaiser. It took over three weeks to get the…read moreappointment. I got multiple messages from them the day before the appointment. They did call and leave a message that I missed but after that call, I had two text confirmations from them and called the office the morning of my appointment and talk to someone to confirm. I showed up for my appointment and they said it had been canceled and that they tried reaching out to me. They offered me no alternative solution other than to come back until I had said that I talk to someone and then all of a sudden they could get me in with someone. However, I had taken off work and after over 30 minutes of waiting past my appointment time after they had told me it would be just a few moments I had to leave. There was zero apology, and they tried to blame me and their third-party system. When I asked why the third-party system would be sending out reminder text and confirmation after they had canceled the appointment, they told me they don't actually cancel the appointment until they talk to the patient. When I asked why they would do that when there was no doctor to be seen as an alternative they just said that's the way we do it. While I will take the blame for missing the missed call at 8 AM the day before I don't understand why they wouldn't make a second attempt when the appointment was at 12:50 the next day. And furthermore, why I wouldn't have been told on the phone when I called the day of my appointment. Needless to say, I called Kaiser and ask him not to ever have to go back to the office.

Allison as always very professional, gentle, and incredibly thorough. She explained every step, made sure I was comfortable with numbing, and the treatment felt manageable even though I was nervous. The PRP addition has my skin already feeling tighter and more radiant (even on day 1), and the redness/tightness is exactly what she prepared me for. She sent me home with excellent aftercare products, the Rescue Smoothing Complex and mask have been lifesavers for calming things down overnight. I felt completely taken care of. Today I returned for lip filler with Breanna. Breanna was kind, precise, and listened closely to my goal: subtle but noticeable plump with natural definition and that sexy perk. She checked my healing skin from the microneedling and confirmed it was safe to proceed. I LEFT FEELING HURT, DISRESPECTED, AND UNVALUED... I was a patient of Dr. Bokhari for over 2 years…read moreand 8 months and a member of this clinic for 2 years, paying $150 every month. During that time, I spent well over $8,000 on treatments and referred many friends and family because I truly believed in this practice. I even drive over 40 minutes to get to this clinic because I believed Dr. Bokhari was kind, skilled, and worth the time, gas, and long drive. Even after an incident last year, when I spent over $3,000 on fillers and Botox in a single session and was not given clear instructions on how to use the nitrous oxide, causing me to inhale too much and experience a frightening hallucination that left me feeling unwell for the rest of the day and even the following day, I continued coming back because I trusted this clinic. Over the last two months, I had to return to the office four different times because my Botox results were not what I had consistently received in the past. During those visits, I spent approximately $1,000. At my most recent follow-up appointment, I simply wanted to understand why my results were different and why I kept needing additional Botox to achieve results that had previously been obtained without these issues. Instead of having a conversation, Dr. Bokhari responded in a way that completely shocked me. He told me: "If you go to Kentucky and order chicken, you have to pay for it." "You have to pay for the units I injected." "There are no free lunches here." "If you don't like it, you can go somewhere else." This was said to me in front of his assistant, the doctor he is training, and my husband, so I am 100% certain that I heard and understood exactly what he said. I explained that I was not refusing to pay. I simply wanted to understand why I kept needing additional visits and additional Botox to obtain results that had previously been achieved without these issues. Despite that, the conversation continued in the same tone. I left that appointment feeling deeply hurt. Personally, I felt discriminated against and treated as if I were someone trying to get something for free, despite being a loyal patient for nearly three years who had always paid for every treatment. Most of all, I felt that I was not a valued patient. At the time, I still had $500 remaining in my membership account. After charging me for that Botox touch-up, the clinic agreed to refund the remaining balance, and I immediately canceled my membership. I had already had a negative experience at this clinic during a Black Friday promotion. I thought I had prepaid for my usual Botox treatment, but when I arrived, I was told I needed to pay more. When I asked for an explanation, I felt I was treated in a dismissive and condescending way, which led me to write a negative review. I later removed that review after Dr. Bokhari personally spoke with me, because at the time I believed the issue had mainly been with the staff. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, my perspective has changed. P.S. For context, I am 30 years old and don't have significant forehead wrinkles. I get Botox because I prefer not to have visible forehead lines. I was also not satisfied with the lip filler I received in March 2025. It appeared to me that some of the filler had migrated, and when I asked Dr. Bokhari about it, he told me it would dissolve over time. However, I can still see some small lumps around my lips today. After that experience and the incident with the nitrous oxide, I decided not to get fillers there again. I've attached photos to this review showing how my lips currently look. I never imagined that after years of loyalty, my relationship with this clinic would end this way. I sincerely hope no other patient leaves feeling as hurt and undervalued as I did. I hope my experience helps others. UPDATE: I have read the clinic's response. I understand that they disagree with my perspective and that they cannot publicly discuss my medical information. I am simply sharing my own experience as a patient, including what I personally paid, what was said to me, and how I felt during these interactions. I stand by my account of my experience.
