I used to go to a different med spa for almost 3 years, and while everyone there was great,…read morescheduling started to get a little difficult. I also didn't love that I would see a different person almost every time I went in for treatments. It just felt like I had to keep re explaining my goals over and over. I decided to try Skin Theory, and I'm really glad I did. They were able to get me in pretty quickly, and overall they just seem a lot more flexible with scheduling. One of the biggest things for me is consistency, and so far I've seen the same provider, Nurse David, which I really appreciate. It makes a huge difference when someone is already familiar with your face and what you're trying to achieve. David has been amazing. I went in for preventative injectables and specifically wanted to try Daxxify, which they offer. He was very attentive, listened to everything I was saying, and I never felt rushed, especially during my first consultation. He's very detail oriented and you can tell he genuinely cares about his work and his clients. He also answered all my questions thoroughly and made me feel really comfortable. One other thing I really appreciated was that he actually called me around the 7 day mark after my injections just to check in and see how I was doing. That's something I never experienced at the other place I used to go to, and it really shows how much he cares about his patients and their results. I had my first visit about two weeks ago and just went back yesterday for a follow up. I'm still fairly new to injectables, so I had more questions and even decided to add a couple of new areas I've never treated before. He walked me through everything again and made sure I felt confident moving forward. So far I'm really happy with my results and the overall experience. I showed up for my appointment and they said it had been canceled and that they tried reaching out to me. They offered me no alternative solution other than to come back until I had said that I talk to someone and then all of a sudden they could get me in with someone. However, I had taken off work and after over 30 minutes of waiting past my appointment time after they had told me it would be just a few moments I had to leave. There was zero apology, and they tried to blame me and their third-party system. When I asked why the third-party system would be sending out reminder text and confirmation after they had canceled the appointment, they told me they don't actually cancel the appointment until they talk to the patient. When I asked why they would do that when there was no doctor to be seen as an alternative they just said that's the way we do it. While I will take the blame for missing the missed call at 8 AM the day before I don't understand why they wouldn't make a second attempt when the appointment was at 12:50 the next day. And furthermore, why I wouldn't have been told on the phone when I called the day of my appointment. Needless to say, I called Kaiser and ask him not to ever have to go back to the office.

Allison as always very professional, gentle, and incredibly thorough. She explained every step, made sure I was comfortable with numbing, and the treatment felt manageable even though I was nervous. The PRP addition has my skin already feeling tighter and more radiant (even on day 1), and the redness/tightness is exactly what she prepared me for. She sent me home with excellent aftercare products, the Rescue Smoothing Complex and mask have been lifesavers for calming things down overnight. I felt completely taken care of. Today I returned for lip filler with Breanna. Breanna was kind, precise, and listened closely to my goal: subtle but noticeable plump with natural definition and that sexy perk. The staff on the phone, male, told me the earliest they can schedule was at least 2 days from the day I made the appointment since I was a new client. So I went with the earliest date and time that was available for me and made my appointment for that date. On the day of, I came in and the front desk staff tells me, "oh your appointment was cancelled because it's too soon for the technician to see you". I had already driven for 30min to get here, took time out from my work. They had the time to call me but pretty much waited until I got there in person to tell me that they cannot. I left right away because I didn't want to waste more time away from work. Once I came back home, I called the office asking why they couldn't give me a call sooner that they cannot have me in. Their answer: "we had a technical issue so we couldn't call". Such BS. Then use your personal mobile or something to call your client. I pretty much cancelled my appointment on the spot, never returning. Clearly, the staff here are not well trained. One staff saying one thing, and the other staff telling me different response. I ended up going to a different laser removal business and they were able to have me in the day of so I don't know what their deal is not letting new clients to come in two days later from the date you make an appointment. Don't waste your time at this Yorba Linda location.

Dawn is the best!! I started going to Dawn for my brazilian wax around June and I'm upset that I…read moredidn't discover her sooner. I have sensitive skin, so I always look for someone that uses hard wax. I used to drive over an hour to OC to get it done. I was always sore afterwards and my skin would be super red. I came to believe that was normal because I thought my skin is just too sensitive. I just told myself "beauty is pain". But then I went to Dawn and I would feel little to no pain! Which is wayyy better than where I used to go and it would hurt like hell. She makes her own wax by blending 2 different kinds together. It's truly unique. I've never seen wax like that before and it does wonders for my sensitive skin. She's also very sanitary--she uses a new stick each time to get the wax and her room is clean. Getting a Brazilian wax is not the most comfortable thing in the world, but Dawn makes it more comfortable. She's so friendly and nice and I always enjoy talking to her! Even when I move, I will still make the drive to Corona because I refuse to go to anyone else.
