    DO NOT COME HERE FOR LIP FILLER!!! Ive previously had lip…read morefiller treatments done before at Liquid Beauty HB (last one done 4 years ago) but wanted to give Laser Away a try. Before beginning, Joey confirmed she didn't feel any leftover filler in my lips. I began to feel hesitant seeing how long the procedure was taking just to do 1 syringe of Juvederm XC filler. It took around 45 minutes before we ran into issues. Joey mentioned there was a lump of new filler on my top lip that she should be able to message out. This was very painful. She then became nervous and asked "Did you feel a burst or something? And I said what? Then she responded by saying that she was "just going to message the PA on the SLACK app really quick". I had no idea what was happening! She then left the room and returned saying she has a remote PA on video chat that needs to check if I got a Vascular Occlusion caused by the filler injection! When I looked in the mirror I panicked! They took SEVERAL videos and I spoke with the PA virtually who stated "in their observation that it may just be a very VERY bad HEMATOMA! But if it was a Vascular Occulusion and circulation was not being provided to areas of my lips, I would have to go to Urgent care because it would be considered "a medical emergency!" Nurse Joey suggested that I can have the filler dissolved immediately which would lower my chances of complications and I agreed to just dissolve it, HOWEVER the PA on video chat advised that we "give it some time as there has already been A LOT OF TRAUMA caused to my lips". I was very scared! I then stated that I wanted a refund! Joey advised that I speak with the front desk. The front desk said they would reach out to Tashina in regards to a refund. I also asked to schedule an appointment the next day to have someone check out my injured lips, praying that it wasnt a Vascular Occlusion. The next day 3/21/26, I was examined by Nurse Angie who's manner showed that she was more experienced. She was kind and attentive and was the 1ST person at Laser Away to apologize for my experience. She then took videos and stepped out. She then returned with another staff member who held her phone to take video while she lifted up my lip and massaged it to feel for any lumps, along with constantly pressing on my lip for 3 seconds at a time to show that my lips returned back to normal color after being pressed. The messaging and compressions were painful. Then they both left. THEN they came back a 2nd time to take ANOTHER video. I began to panic again. Angie noticed I was so nervous and said, we are just taking this 2nd video because the PA on SLACK needed better lighting. When they returned a 3RD time, they stated the remote PA (different than the one on the previous day) thought it was a bad hematoma and to take Arnica tablets and/or cream and to apply a warm compress every hour. But to make sure to look for any areas of gray or any intense pain or tingling. Then I was sent on my way. Still very scared and concerned. It has now been a week and I still have bruising on my lips AND upper lip! It is unacceptable to have these huge hematomas from mishandling of my lips! Some bruising is expected, but NOT FULL ON HEMATOMAS!!! Before leaving, I requested for the manager to call me so that I could speak about my experience. I had to called Laser Away on Monday 3/23 to check if my correct contact info was provided because I was never contacted. I was then finally contacted by Lynette the Regional Manager. She was pleasant on the phone and stated that she was sorry that my 1st experience at Laser Away was not as expected and mentioned that she would make sure Joey received additional training in areas that needed improvement. She offered a free Hydrafacial but honestly I am extremely traumatized being there. It is very unfortunate because I wanted to give LaserAway a chance and even talked my husband into booking a Botox appointment that weekend with LaserAway but this whole nightmare experience scared him away enough to cancel. Lynette said she would refund my husband's payment and 5 days later, still NO REFUND received! Lynette also stated that despite my whole experience, I COULD NOT get a refund as the services were already rendered, even though I had asked for a REFUND IMMEDIATELY at my 1ST appointment when i was LITERALLY IN THE ROOM! It has been a week now and I have been taking Arnica cream and tablets and been applying warm cloths periodically. I feel so self conscious about all the bruising that I have to cover it up with lipstick and foundation. Worried that ppl may think im getting physically abused when in reality this was all caused by Laser Away. Not to mention the money I had to spend on Arnica tablets and cream!!! It is very scary that they do not have Physician Assistants on site to assess situations like this!!! If there was, then I would feel safer knowing whether or not I should go to the emergency room for a Vascular Occlusion!

Unfortunately, after Jasmine left Belle Vie, I decided to give NP Jessica a try since I still had my membership. After my experience today, I can confidently say I will not be going back. I got AquaGold microneedling done today and felt very undermined and blindsided. I arrived at 3:05 for optional numbing before my 3:30 appointment, but when I asked about numbing I was told they don't numb for this procedure because 1) it doesn't hurt and 2) it's much quicker than normal microneedling. Both of those statements turned out to be false. I was seen at 3:15 and finished my session around 3:40. At first the pain was bearable, but as the procedure continued it became increasingly painful. After I repeatedly told NP Jessica how much it hurt, she asked if it was my first time microneedling--even though I had already told her it was my first time when she walked into the room and that I was excited to try something new. Her response of "ohhhh I'm so sorry" made it feel like what I had shared beforehand wasn't really taken into account. For context, I have a very high pain tolerance. I've done multiple sessions of PRF EZGel under my eyes with NP Jasmine (formerly at Belle Vie and now at Intemporel Clinic). I've even been told I'm an easy patient to work on because I really do not complain. After the appointment, I called immediately while sitting in my car to be reminded of the post-care instructions because I was honestly so discombobulated from the experience that I couldn't recall them. I also got a second opinion from another NP based in Newport, who told me they absolutely could have numbed me rather than telling me the procedure wouldn't hurt and was quicker. I called back again and ended up getting connected to the receptionist at the Cerritos location, which was bizzare because 22 minute prior the Newport receptionist picked up. She was very apologetic and helped answer all of my questions. I mentioned that for future reference, I believe NP Jessica could be more mindful and transparent about the pain level and the fact that everyone's tolerance varies. I even said I would have gladly paid extra for numbing if that was the issue. She informed me that numbing is actually complimentary and that if I arrived early and asked about it, they could have simply asked if that was something I wanted rather than dismissing it. I will say that Z is the absolute best, and every facial I've gotten from her has been so good!! Although I won't be returning to Belle Vie after 3 years of coming here, I do wish them the best!!

She had me sign the screen to give my tip, but it was charging me $100 instead of just a tip when I said that doesn't sound right I was told don't worry you'll get an email when I finally agreed she said oh but the email will take about half an hour. As I left, she texted me to tell me that my final session would not be honored because it expired my package a month ago. Chloe is supposedly the manager and I am embarrassed for your entire organization if this is who you think should be a manager, teaching customer service and treating people as rudely as she does.
