DO NOT COME HERE FOR LIP FILLER!!! Ive previously had lip filler treatments done before at Liquid Beauty HB (last one done 4 years ago) but wanted to give Laser Away a try. Before beginning, Joey confirmed she didn't feel any leftover filler in my lips. I began to feel hesitant seeing how long the procedure was taking just to do 1 syringe of Juvederm XC filler. It took around 45 minutes before we ran into issues. Joey mentioned there was a lump of new filler on my top lip that she should be able to message out. This was very painful. She then became nervous and asked "Did you feel a burst or something? And I said what? Then she responded by saying that she was "just going to message the PA on the SLACK app really quick". I had no idea what was happening! She then left the room and returned saying she has a remote PA on video chat that needs to check if I got a Vascular Occlusion caused by the filler injection! When I looked in the mirror I panicked! They took SEVERAL videos and I spoke with the PA virtually who stated "in their observation that it may just be a very VERY bad HEMATOMA! But if it was a Vascular Occulusion and circulation was not being provided to areas of my lips, I would have to go to Urgent care because it would be considered "a medical emergency!" Nurse Joey suggested that I can have the filler dissolved immediately which would lower my chances of complications and I agreed to just dissolve it, HOWEVER the PA on video chat advised that we "give it some time as there has already been A LOT OF TRAUMA caused to my lips". I was very scared! I then stated that I wanted a refund! Joey advised that I speak with the front desk. The front desk said they would reach out to Tashina in regards to a refund. I also asked to schedule an appointment the next day to have someone check out my injured lips, praying that it wasnt a Vascular Occlusion. The next day 3/21/26, I was examined by Nurse Angie who's manner showed that she was more experienced. She was kind and attentive and was the 1ST person at Laser Away to apologize for my experience. She then took videos and stepped out. She then returned with another staff member who held her phone to take video while she lifted up my lip and massaged it to feel for any lumps, along with constantly pressing on my lip for 3 seconds at a time to show that my lips returned back to normal color after being pressed. The messaging and compressions were painful. Then they both left. THEN they came back a 2nd time to take ANOTHER video. I began to panic again. Angie noticed I was so nervous and said, we are just taking this 2nd video because the PA on SLACK needed better lighting. When they returned a 3RD time, they stated the remote PA (different than the one on the previous day) thought it was a bad hematoma and to take Arnica tablets and/or cream and to apply a warm compress every hour. But to make sure to look for any areas of gray or any intense pain or tingling. Then I was sent on my way. Still very scared and concerned. It has now been a week and I still have bruising on my lips AND upper lip! It is unacceptable to have these huge hematomas from mishandling of my lips! Some bruising is expected, but NOT FULL ON HEMATOMAS!!! Before leaving, I requested for the manager to call me so that I could speak about my experience. I had to called Laser Away on Monday 3/23 to check if my correct contact info was provided because I was never contacted. I was then finally contacted by Lynette the Regional Manager. She was pleasant on the phone and stated that she was sorry that my 1st experience at Laser Away was not as expected and mentioned that she would make sure Joey received additional training in areas that needed improvement. She offered a free Hydrafacial but honestly I am extremely traumatized being there. It is very unfortunate because I wanted to give LaserAway a chance and even talked my husband into booking a Botox appointment that weekend with LaserAway but this whole nightmare experience scared him away enough to cancel. Lynette said she would refund my husband's payment and 5 days later, still NO REFUND received! Lynette also stated that despite my whole experience, I COULD NOT get a refund as the services were already rendered, even though I had asked for a REFUND IMMEDIATELY at my 1ST appointment when i was LITERALLY IN THE ROOM! It has been a week now and I have been taking Arnica cream and tablets and been applying warm cloths periodically. I feel so self conscious about all the bruising that I have to cover it up with lipstick and foundation. Worried that ppl may think im getting physically abused when in reality this was all caused by Laser Away. Not to mention the money I had to spend on Arnica tablets and cream!!! It is very scary that they do not have Physician Assistants on site to assess situations like this!!! If there was, then I would feel safer knowing whether or not I should go to the emergency room for a Vascular Occlusion! read more

X!. I am extremely disappointed with LaserAway and my tattoo removal experience ! I began treatments in March 2024 after being told by a staff member (Jasmine) that my small, black tattoo would fade in about 10 sessions. Based on that representation, I agreed to move forward and paid for the package. It is now January 2026. After completing those sessions, there has been no noticeable fading or meaningful result. The tattoo looks essentially the same. When I returned to address the lack of results and ask what solution they would offer, I was met with rudeness, interruptions while I was speaking, and pressure to pay more money for additional sessions, presented as a "discount." At that point, they also said they "never guaranteed anything," which directly contradicts what was told to me when I signed up. Overall a great first time experience coming here. I just had my first underarm treatment, so I'll definitely update my review on a month to month basis. I've been trying to find a place to do my underarm treatment and am glad I found Laserway through Yelp. After reading reviews, I decided to treat myself before the holiday season and scheduled a consultation call. It was a simple and quick process, you do the questionnaire on their website and within minutes someone calls you to go over the steps, cost, prescreen question, and scheduling of appointment. You can with prepay before your appointment for convenience which is what I did. They will send you pre and post care instructions, so make sure to read the literature before you go in and revisit afterwards. Upon arrival, you check in with the front desk staff and then wait in the lobby for a clinical nurse to come get you. I had the pleasure of meeting Dana who helped me during my first session. She was super friendly and made me feel comfortable before we got started. I was definitely nervous, but she reassured me that it was quick and simple which was an understatement. The actual lasering took less than 5 minutes. People tend to ask what it feels like, so let me try and describe it. There is cold air blowing while the nurse is lasering. For me personally, I felt a little sting, heard a lot of beeping noise, and felt the air blowing more than the actual laser. However, there were parts on my underarm that I did notice was a little more sensitive when I would feel the laser penetrating. It stings but not unbearable and Dana was fast with the process while talking me through it, so definitely helpful. Lastly, you do smell the hair burning and that's the part I found most unpleasant. I walked into laser away with questions about Botox . Within 15 mins Libby had me Approved and financed $1400 . She told me i would look great and love it . We tried To schedule for that day or the next - i explained i have children . Great injector, but they do not dissolve filler if it's not a medical emergency. Due to years of filler without ever dissolving, my filler started to migrate. Also, the smile line filler I had was a tad too much so I had a visible bump. No big deal, just need to get these dissolved to restart. Understandable, as filler doesn't dissolve 100% on its own. Ended up going to one of the many med-spas I called who all originally suggested I get it dissolved by my injector, and said quite often it's complimentary. Paid $300 to get the smile lines dissolved. Will go back another day to do lips, which will cost $600 with possible follow ups It's just interesting that despite people/influencers going in to get theirs dissolved (YouTube) it's not available to the general public. I used to go to SEV for laser hair removal and it was just not cutting it. I am not normally one to write reviews but a glowing LaserAway review is well deserved! First off, all the staff is so sweet and welcoming when you walk in. Both locations I have visited have been luxurious and modern when you walk in. Secondly, and this is a huge one, their nurses (especially Nurse Melissa) are so friendly and easy to talk to! You would think going in and lying down spread eagle would be the most uncomfortable thing to do in front of a stranger, but the nurses are so friendly that it's not bother! I just went last week and saw Nurse Melissa for Brazilian, underarm and my first (of many) Botox treatments. She was INCREDIBLE!! I will be requesting to see her every visit moving forward! I have had 6 sessions out of 10 and I have been rescheduled 4 times. Then when I've been rescheduled it's super far out and never any availability. It's funny because when they want to sell you the package they get you in asap the next day even but after that it's always an excuse or someone called out or they don't have evening availability. If that's the case then let that be known from the beginning so people can go to a location that can accommodate them. Not all of us are stay home moms unfortunately. Excellent location in Bella Terra Huntington Beach. I was visiting family and decided to get one of my clear and brilliant laser facials done. My go to salon is in Beverly Hills however it's nice to know Laser Away is consistent with their standards at other locations. This location was immaculate. Front desk associate was pleasant, and timely. She took me back to begin numbing within minutes of arriving. Nurse Tee is just a gem. She was informative throughout performing the procedure. She also gave excellent tips for after and maintenance care. One feedback for the staff, and I'm sure it was because it was a late appointment but nonetheless please ensure bathrooms are well stocked with TP for your customers. Where to start. Welp if you like making your appointments out 6weeks and your appointment time comes you come In on time and would like to wait 30 mins then this is the place for you! I could understand a 5-10 min wait but 30 mins!! With zero consideration of your time then come in and join! I've been coming here to get laser hair removal treatment for a couple of sessions now. Results have been great I am so happy with the results I am seeing. I was interested in botox and Nurse T explained how everything worked, what to expect and she answered all my questions. She explained since I have never gotten botox before she would recommend starting off at lower unit and where she would administer it.
