Do NOT go here!!!! Worst experience ever. Writing this while currently in the hospital with an infected toe. I came here to get a pedicure and it was going well kind of hurt but oh well. Next day I wake up with pain in my foot and notice my big toe is very swollen and red. It feels like my foot is on fire when walking. Later that night I see pus coming out of my toe!! I do a soak but nothing helps then the next day it started in my other toes too. I had to go to the hospital to get it checked out and now im put on antibiotics because my toes are infected. Save your money and dont go to a place that doesn't possibly clean their tools before use. read more

2 stars based on long wait times!!!! New ownership and new name. Polished is the former Lisa Nails. Clean location. However, under staffed which means long wait times despite having an appointment. This is the second time, I've made an appointment and work begins 30+ mins later. I'll let you know how the pedi turns out. Pedi only took 20 mins. Wait time 40 mins?! Go figure. read more

I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival that I did not have to wait as I didn't have an appointment I was able to be taken care of right away. I requested both a manicure and a pedicure. I was pleased with both, however, I had this odd feeling that the ladies were talking about me in their foreign tongue as they would say something than look at me. My major disappointment was upon paying. The price list showed a ManiPedi combo was $25.00, however I was charged $40. She was eating some fruit at her little desk, Lisa had to tell her something when she rolled her eyes and put it down (nothing was set up yet even though they were already opened for a hour) Anyways, right when Lisa comes back there's another customer that says she had an appoitment, then she had the decency to tell My sister to get up and wait because someone else is here for her... UM Like I get she had an appoitment but we let her know her wedding was the very next day and we couldn't wait. If she didn't take 15 minutes walking around or setting up she would've been half way down by then. She walks off A LOT! Now about the environment, ITS HOT. Don't expect air conditioning or the fans on because you will be dying of sweat by the time you're out of there. Lisa please get more employees, this happened my first time too, you were gone for 15 minutes in the middle of doing my nails. That's just wrong! Pricing is amazing however, I'm going to give this nail place another chance only because of that, but if I get blown off again until the middle of doing my nails I will no longer be a retuning customer. Lee did my pedicure, it was okay. Owner did my new set and although she's nice and friendly, I wasn't happy with the final product. She left my coffin nails uneven and crooked to one side on most of the nails. She didn't think that they were because she said coffin is "dfferent" sure, but they shouldn't be crooked to one side. Beware of this Nail shop, they fraudulent charged $665.00 to my credit card. I contacted the owner a. I was told that she would refund my money by writing me out a check. But as of to date she have not refunded me my money and have lied in numerous conversations. I've had no other choice but to move forward and file complaints as well as moving forward will all legal complaints. She said she accidentally punched in the wrong number but still have not referred anything. It is a shame that people like her think that they can take advantage of old people I guest seeing you as bate, so I guest if you're 55 or over we all must be very careful. I really enjoyed this place! Lisa, the owner, did my nails. I went in at 6:40 (20 min before they closed). I asked her if it was too late for me to get a gel manicure. She said no not at all. She even stayed until 8 doing my nails! She was also about to accept some women who walked in after 7 for a pedicure and she was going to accept her. I walked in with an intricate picture (Christmas nail art). She was able to do it! It is $23 for gel. $2 remove gel. $5-15 for nail art-- that depends how many fingers and how difficult the design is. The only thing I didn't like is at first she cut the skin when removing the extra skin about the nail bed.. not sure the terminology. It hurt a bit, but it was. Old foot scrubbers were used during my pedicure... but and after my feet were scrubbed with the callus treatment, the scrubbers were cleaned off in the same water that they put my clean feet back into. The flies are attacking all of us in here and they are acting like they don't notice the problem. Not to mention the huge roach on the wall which I took a picture of. Doesn't look like they've ever swept the floor and the smell in here is unbearable. I only came here because there's never anyone here so that means no wait time, but I see why it's always empty. I'm disgusted! I asked for acrylic to be added to both of my big toes to extend the length and it took 2 workers and it's still horrible. I came back again and was helped by Tracy, who is now my favorite manicurist there. She was super friendly and did a fantastic job on my nails.
