BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever done business with. They are an unresponsive and unreliable company. I cannot believe this place is still in business considering they sell unsafe unchecked trucks and they have their employees spray paint over any rust that is visible on their vehicles. My fiancé bought a truck from this sham of company about 4 months ago and was told everything was good to go, just wait for the plate in the mail. A week after his temp plate expired he called them asking about his plate and they proceeded to tell him that the truck needed emissions done and that they lied about that part when he purchased it. Fortunately, they made him an appointment and said to just bring it in that they could do it there and it would only take a few minutes. He drove the 45 minutes it takes to get there and once there he was left outside (due to the waiting room being full of people since they are shitty at scheduling) to wait for his vehicle, he waited for 3 HOURS in 100 degree weather. He finally got the truck home after they gave him yet another temp plate since his hadn't even been mailed and to this day he still has no plate. After the 3rd month two warning lights on the dash popped on. One reading "Service Stabiltrack" and one reading "Service Emissions 100miles until 65mph top speed". He obviously took it back in to them to service. Once there they let him know that he wouldn't be getting his vehicle back for over a week (now going on two weeks), that they would not be able to provide him with a loner vehicle in the mean time, and that what needed serviced would not be covered on his 3 year warranty that they pulled out of their ass just to sell him on the truck. Now he calls them daily since obviously they won't reach themselves and is given an array of excuses as to why he can't pick up his vehicle and that they still have no desire to give him a rental or a discount on the services they are "providing". All in all this is an absolute joke of a company that needs to get their shit together or get their business license revoked. read more

Buyer Beware....!!! Purchased a truck in Mesa, AZ and before we could even take it home it had transmission issues. "No problem, we will get it taken care of" said the service manager. 2 weeks after signing our contract we were able to take it home. Nothing but issues ever since. It has been in 2 more times, supposedly has had the transmission "rebuilt" and serviced again. Trying to schedule a service appointment is a joke-it's always a 2 week wait for them to keep the vehicle for several days, return it as "all good to go" yet still issues remain. No extended warranty offered, no paperwork on what they do to the vehicle when they "service" it. Final straw with the truck - "You need a new transmission and it will be at least $2600". They are not taking responsibility for it. I AM DONE! We purchased several cars from them and I am so disappointed and angry that they treat people this way. They have several locations-a new one in Tucson as well. My advice is to STAY CLEAR of this company...they say "No Problem" when they are having you sign on the dotted line but they really mean is "We don't care what kind of junk we are selling you". It's a long complicated story but just be prepared if you buy a vehicle here. They led me to believe that tax title and registration was included in the sale but upon trying to register the truck in my state I find myself on the line for the tax. I wouldn't have agreed to buy the truck if I had known this and the salesman knew it and I guarantee deliberately didn't tell me in order to sell the truck. I bought a 04 Ford F-350 truck here (Trucks only) and got screwed and lied to through the hole buying process. They changed the agreement at signing by $40 a month. Was told the motor was bulletproofed. It's a 04 F-350 6.0 diesel. Turned out its not. Brought it in a few months ago 2or3 to have the drivers side hub replaced and 4 wheel drive check. Two months later I got this (see pictures)!! Turned out they never even changed the hub. I was told by Dave in service (service manager) it was replaced and 4x4 tested. It never worked from the 1st time I tried it and they say it's not there problem. I do not recommend buying shit from them. Chris Johnson was my lying salesmen nice guy, I liked him but turned out everything he told me about the truck was a lie. Now it's costing me $1000 in parts to fix it myself. I have not had it even a year yet. Nothing but problems. Was told by Dave in service hub and 4x4?was check and tested just 2 months ago. Finally needed the 4 wheel drive and this happened. Turned out that they never even replaced the hub. Look at pics looks original to me. All bolts were rusted on. Needed WD-40 to loosen up. These guys are scumbags. Total lying f-ers. Chris Johnson was my sales guy. Swore the motor was bulletproofed. I had it check by ford and it was also total bull shit to get a sale. Was offered $500 to go away and stop letting you know about the bad experience I had. They tried to pay me off to shut up. I just purchased a 2015 GMC Terrain with under 10k miles from here and so far am completely satisfied. My car buying experience was alright. I brought my dad to help me out and we knew what we were looking for and what we wanted to pay. We worked with a younger salesman who was easy to talk to and showed me only what I wanted to see. I had found a great deal online ahead of time. Low pressure unlike other car dealerships, but we did have to walk out twice before getting the price we really wanted. The paperwork process was pretty quick and I left the lot with my new car. I would recommend purchasing from here if you find a good deal, but I probably wouldn't recommend a first time car buyer to go there alone. I bought the car with a damaged bumper and the promise to fix it. I am still waiting to hear form the service department about whether the parts are in and when we can get that scheduled. This place is ok at best for the purchase of a vehicle. I have had worse experiences at Earnhart and Larry Miller in the valley here but overall have had better luck in other cities. Maybe it's this town that makes car-buying a hassle. As if I wasn't educated on the car that I was purchasing, I had to negotiate for Kelly Blue Book value of my chosen vehicle. The salesperson said he was going to "go to bat" for me... whatever. Also, be very wary of APR offers. They apply to next to no one so don't get your hopes up. They offered to fix the visible issues with my car. Oil change hadn't been done since 11/2011 and when I drove off the lot, I realized that there was NO GAS IN THE CAR. Seriously?! So clearly, the basics aren't taken care of. The car was acquired at an auction (basic information that a car fax report will give you) and it is disappointing to think that no other maintenance was done in order to sell this car at an initial inflated $5K over KBBV. (Don't worry, I at least got them to give it to me for $3 UNDER KBBV by "twisting their arm") Will I buy from them again? No. Will I recommend them? Only if you have a mechanic that you really like that will inspect it for you. Unfortunately, I haven't found one of those yet, but that's another story for another time. After my 4 hour drive to the dealeeship i was greeted with smiles and my truck!! Once the test drive was out of way the salesman noticed a small squeek on the back brakes and had that fixed within minutes. The paperwork portion was strramlined and VERY fast!!! SCAM of a company. In my life I have never dealt with such a HORRENDOUS company. It's no shock to me that the Bell road location shut down because they are crooks and people are catching on to their shady business practices. Have any of these sales and accountants had any experience whatsoever in selling vehicles? We bought a used truck about a year ago and every single thing that could go wrong with it, has gone wrong with it. The A.C. had to have been fixed 3 times, the transmission went out, the power windows went out, the muffler fell off, the hubcaps were missing..you name, it has happened to us. The accountant at the Bell road location was the most unprofessional, disrespectful individual I have ever done business with. They sold us a complete lemon and overcharged us by roughly six thousand dollars and kept promising to fix the truck but never followed through. Your company is a joke and I hope more people come forward to expose you for the soulless thieves that you are. I am reporting this company to the better business bureau. How can you can make false promises to your customers and taking them for every cent they have knowing full well that what you're selling them is essentially a death trap? Shady AF. Bought a used F150 with 87K showing on odometer. Truck would stall when engine warmed up. Took it back for repairs three times, and once to a Ford dealer (don't go to Berge shop in Mesa either), before Trucks Only admitted the engine was bad. Turned out the engine couldn't maintain oil pressure for cam phase shifters once engine hot. Their replacement engine warranty is not worth much as they only offered an "equivalent" engine (not a new engine or short block), which would probably come from another POS truck they have slated for wholesale. The truck they had sold us was probably slated for wholesale to begin with. Salesman said manager would "help us out on getting another truck". We had the truck for almost two months without really being able to drive it much, as my wife wouldn't trust it, and it was in the shop totaling a couple of weeks. Probably put much less than 100 miles on it in that time. Manager wouldn't help us at first saying we had probably abused the vehicle and had it too long. Wouldn't give us any deal on another truck and said no chance of a refund. We were out our trade in vehicle and stuck with a lemon. I had to make a big noise in the office to finally get them to agree on applying what we paid onto another truck. I have never felt so misused, ripped-off, or angry. Deal with them at your own risk. Bought a truck from the bell road store, buying experience was fine. Paid to have a lift kit put on my truck, have had nothing but problems since. First they had to reschedule because they didn't order the right lift. I wanted a 4" lift all they had was 6" lifts. Guy pushed really hard to try to make me get a 6" but in the end they ordered the lift. I wanted 33" tires they told me I had to get 35" tires. I specifically asked if they would fit on the 4" lift and the guy assured me they did it all the time no problem. Pick the truck up after lift kit and the tire pressure sensors weren't working and the tires were rubbing way too much. Leave two messages and no one called me back. I had to call 5 times to get a live person. Take truck in to get it fixed and I tell the guy it's rubbing way to much and his response was "you choose a 4" lift". Blaming me that the tires rub. He says he will fix it anyway. Oh thank goodness. I come back and he proceeded to tell me the tire pressure gauge wasn't broken and that he took care of the rubbing. I asked him how thy were going to reimburse me for having to drive across the valley to fix their error and he rolls his eyes at me and looks at some guy in the back. Full disclosure this is when I finally lost it called him an asshole and walked out. The little jerk cake flying out of the back and got in my face and started yelling and cussing at me. Completely caught off guard I started yelling back. Told him it was piss poor customer service, he flips me off and tells me to fuck off. Will never go back to these guys or any part of Sullivan motor group. Just a nice PS. I got the lifetime oil changes with my truck. The next day I went back and we worked out a great deal. They were more than fair with my trade in, and I got a great deal since I was paying cash. Purchased a used boat with 105 hours on it from them in July which they stated was in perfect condition and always had scheduled regular maintenance done on it. Update: The price I paid the high end of the NADA Guide value on it, so they are mistaken to say they saved me thousands. They had no idea what to do with the paperwork. I had to return to the dealer 3 times over the next week to sign paperwork that they forgot to originally have us sign, including one which they stated it gave me a better interest rate (my payment was exactly the same). Boat broke down in the middle of the lake on the 3rd time out (yes it was the 3rd time) with significant issues and the highly rated mechanic I took it to said there has never had any service done on it which he can prove. So before I made my first payment, I was already paying a lot to fix it. Just be careful on what they say as they will state whatever they need to get the sale done. Additionally, be prepared to go back over and over to sign paperwork. You should stay away. Just read all the reviews below and you can see i am not the first customer that was deceived. read more

The night before I purchased my vehicle from Trucks Only, I stayed up late reading all of the reviews. I became so anxious I almost cancelled my appointment! If you are a nervous car buyer, skeptical, or want some tips please read this review! I am specifically reviewing Bob, as I cant speak for the other sales guys, but I worked with Bob on my purchase of a 2014 Town and Country...yes they sell more than trucks! Bob is AMAZING!! I was very adamant about working with dealers that were willing to communicate and negotiate via text or online chat. So many wanted to not answer a single question and entice you to come into the dealership, but I knew what I was looking for, the payment I needed, and I felt as if coming in without hashing out the details first was a waste of everyone's time. Bob accommodated every single request I had, which is very rare, as I was attempting to communicate with several dealerships, and not a single one offered the customer service that Bob offered. I had my guard up the entire time, but I felt as if Bob was truly being honest and working on my behalf, as much as his dealership. We spent 2 days text negotiating and getting our appointment lined up. He was personable, funny, and willing to do what he could. I wanted to wait to put my review in so that I could have my own mechanic look at the van I purchased, because I had my guard up and was skeptical....but let me tell you...this van is impeccable. Now remember it is used, so set your expectations correctly, but no major issues at all. We did have to buy a new key fob, and a remote and headphones for the TV's, along with new tires, but I thought that was reasonable since it was a used car. We asked if they could include new back tires since they were bald, but we got such a great deal, I could understand that they couldn't put any more money into it.....and we really got a GREAT deal. Mechanically its near perfect, one slight thing a PVC valve needs to be replaced, but we bought their 3 year warranty so it should be a quick fix, and its not even an urgent fix either....even if we didnt do their warranty my mechanic said it was like a $20 part, and its a common issue with this vehicles engine. There were no major hidden issues, no slipped in expenses, I walked in and out with exactly what Bob said I'd get. I was also pre-approved by a credit union, bank, and another dealership with interest rates ranging between 7.9%-6%...they came sliding in with a 4.95%. At that point I was willing to buy anything off their lot with that rate! I even let Bob know some of the reviews on here really had me worried, but he was honest about that too! If you have poor credit, there is a possibility your loan wont go through, and they will call you to let you know a bigger deposit needs to be given for the financier to accept the loan. I had good credit though and was adamant that I wasn't driving off the lot until the loan was approved. I am sure they didnt love that, but in the end they even honored that request of having the loan approved prior to me coming for our appt. In the end, I would say you have nothing to fear working with Bob...he's been there for over 14 years! Be a smart buyer and inspect the vehicle from top to bottom, and be realistic with your credit score and how your loan gets handled because of that. As far as other reviews about the condition of the vehicles.... you get what you pay for, and I had my mind set that if the car had a weird smell, any small broken issues like handles, or locks, that I wasnt even going to waste my time, and was going to continue my search elsewhere. Set your standards on what you are willing to accept, condition, price, and everything else and dont budge...I promise if you attempt to be as smart as possible about your purchase you will have a great outcome! My only regret is not letting my guard down so that I could actually enjoy the experience, but I am sure that helped make this a great deal as well. I would without a doubt go back to Bob at Trucks Only and purchase again.....I actually may be doing this in the very near future for our 2nd vehicle. read more

This place will rip you off! I should have read the reviews before I purchased a truck from here! All of the one star reviews are very true since they are exactly what happened to me. I purchased a truck from here at the beginning of May within that week the air conditioning broke, and by the end of May the truck itself was completely broken. Luckily I purchased a outside warranty with CarSheild because to fix my truck was $8k!? That's not even including the air conditioning, that wasn't covered with my warranty so that's an additional $500!! Whatever you do DO NOT buy from here!! Buying a Jeep at Trucks only was the right choice. I went to a couple of other places and was not at all impressed. I told them what I was looking for and the price range and wasn't shown anything that I wanted to be paying on for years. Then I went to Trucks only. They had a great Jeep but it was out of my price range. I said I would have to wait until tax time and come back with a down payment. They didn't think I should wait. They knocked $2 grand off the car and paid $3500 for my trade (which I had bought it for $950) just to get the car into my price range. When the bank came back with a higher interest rate (which raised my rate) the gave me more money for my trade just so my payment wouldn't shoot way up. I had a check engine light pop on a couple days later and thought it would be a big hassle but they said bring it in and they will take care of it free. You expect surprises when you buy a car but you never expect them to be good ones. read more

I recently bought a used 2008 Toyota Tundra from Trucks Only in Mesa, from the start i searched trucks online and found a few trucks that looked promising i was contacted within an hour by a sales man named Steffen Lancman he was very kind cortious and asked all the right questions without being pushy or aggressive with a sales pitch. My wife and i showed up he had the trucks lined up and ready for test drive before i arrived, test drove the Tundra loved it settled on price they delivered it to my work the next day after taking care of a couple of minor things. I work for a large automotive dealership for 20+ years i have seen the best and the worst of car deals and experience's the negative comments i have read on yelp about this dealership are surprising to me cause i had no issues at all they were professional, respectful, and easy to work with i cant say enough about our sales guy Steffen really great to work with. Stopped in and talked to Bob Mulvania about trading my full size truck for something smaller. Knew exactly what I was looking for. We walked the lot but to no avail. Bob said he knew they had just taken one in on trade. Called the other lot in AJ and had it there in 30 minutes. Truck was as described. We did our negotiation dance and had a deal in about 20 minutes. I got what I wanted for my truck and paid what I felt was a fair price. Trucks Only also had a new set of tires installed without bumping the price. I would buy from them again. As far as APR, they quoted 1.99% and that was what I got. Although they came through with the ultimate goal of finding me a unicorn, I have to say that this company is in a dire state of mis-organization. Sales doesn't talk to service, and vice versa. Nobody know what's going on which results in handling a problem with an answer of "it will be ready tomorrow". This is quite frustrating as I signed the papers on my truck on 07/09/16 and took delivery on 07/21/16 for 3 days before I had to drive it back because they brought it to me dirty and with 34 mi left in the gas tank. I took delivery of it for good on 07/28/16. This was after several phone calls from both my husband and myself trying to find out what was going on. I have only been to the service department and they do a great job at a great price. They always ask before doing things and explain exactly what it is they are doing. They offer good oil changes at a very affordable price. The guys inside are Ryan and Dave and they genuinely know exactly what they are talking about and are really funny too. I have done modifications to my truck at this place multiple times and will continue to use them for future purchases. I drive an hour and a half to go there to have good work done.
