I would leave 0 stars if I could. We were sold a truck that had issues from the moment we got it home. The trucks engine light turned on before we even made it the 45 minutes home. It took almost 2 weeks to try to get ahold of the service department the first time since they seem to not care to answer their phones. Upon taking it back to "get fixed", we soon began to realize that none of the things they said they fixed were actually fixed. Shortly after, the truck was back in the shop for another week, we were supposed to be updated daily on the status since we were now out a vehicle and no sort of rental car was offered but we were not updated until late afternoon right before the service department was closing that it was done. Come to find out, it wasn't even fixed!! The service department is the WORST and the sales staff will make any women feel uncomfortable being around. I do not recommend this dealership whatsoever. We have now been taking the truck to another dealership that we can actually trust and they are still be able to use the warranty to actually fix the issues that Trucks Only cannot fix. I am not sure how they get away with the things that they get away with but it is completely unacceptable and disgusting quite honestly. read more

I bought 2015 f350 6.7 power stroke for $38,000. 128,000 miles. Which was a little bit over priced which I was ok with because of the lift and tires and was a good looking truck. The day after I had a check engine light for emissions code and a cab mount was missing. They fixed the cab mount and refunded me $600 for the emission system that I was going to take out of the truck anyway. 2500 miles later it take it into the shop because of white smoke on start up. Shop got back to me and stated it needs head gaskets. I've been Quoted $12,000 in work. I've had 3 shops look at my truck and tell me the same thing. So I know it's not the shop trying to get money out of me. Come to find out when I ran the carfax that it also had accident that was not disclosed when I purchased the truck. I'm well aware of the term SOLD AS IS. However when the repair cost is already half the value of the purchase. Then the dealership should make it right. When I brought this to the attention of the dealership they calm to do a full 180 point inspection. I don't know how a check engine light and missing cab mount goes unnoticed. I can understand it they didn't test the head gasket considering the truck was fairly low miles. Just straight up bad business by a dealership with large following like this one. Update: 11/21/25 after hearing back from the owner they were able to get a title and have it overnighted to my son. He received it today and was able to tag his truck today. Hopefully they will keep their word about paying the accrued fees. I will update if that happens. I will change the star review when and if that happens. I left this review on their page 10/17/25 and have since sent in the money to the state to get the title for my son's truck. We are still waiting as it takes 4-6 weeks to receive. All of this could have been avoided if they would have correctly sent the title when asked the first time within the week of him purchasing his vehicle. My son purchased a truck 9/2/2025, drove home to KC with NO TITLE. MO doesn't use electronic title. We were told by a male that a title would be issued within 10 days but all fees would be covered if accrued. Fast forward to today 10/17/2025, and multiple calls later: Terri is awful! We were told the title was sent 10 days ago. I told her there should be follow ups from their company when there are issues as this is customer service. Yes, I got mad after multiple conversations and told her to get me a F***ing title. She of course got mad and told me to figure the title out myself. What do they expect when we get a run around? That people are going to be super sweet?! Make that make sense. She had said prior that they could request it again but my son didn't tell her.... Ummmm common sense. Figure out the issue! We have now contacted attorney general for Arizona! Do NOT buy from them especially if coming from out of town. My son now has accrued fees for each month and his truck will have to be parked when the temp tag runs out on December 1. MO is a 30 days to license state. Not 90 days. We were told not to worry about the fees as they'd be covered. Nobody here knows what they are talking about getting these titles or things done for these vehicles. $80,000 paper weight read more

This is a business just like any other, so keep that in mind. My wife and I worked with car salesman Jason. He was great to work with and he stayed an hour past closing along with some other team members to help us purchase the vehicle on a holiday. When it comes to finance options, if you drive in already pre approved through your own lender, don't let someone push you around. One was pushy to get us to use one of their lenders so stick your feet in the sand. We worked with Dave N. the service director for some minor truck fixes and he's the one that made the whole experience for us top notch. He was very kind, professional, and took good care of us. He is the reason this 4 star turned to a 5 star review. All in all, I definitely recommend trucks only. Just come prepared. Oh and some of the other salesman offered me some of their lunch while I was waiting for the truck from the service department.. nice young guys. read more

I bought a van from trucks only in Mesa and on the test drive I noticed it pulls to the right... we discussed this and I said I would buy the vehicle if they could fix it. They said OK so I bought the vehicle. I've been back five times. The issue is still not fixed! I bought a really expensive warranty from them and I've taken multiple days off of work. last week I had my son take the 2010 jeep wrangler in to be serviced because the check engine light had came on was And I wanted to insure vehicle was in safe operating condition for his commute to NAU in Flagstaff from Phoenix. Not to mention we noticed it was starting and running very rough. After multiple days in the shop and $1800 later the check engine light was off and we were told that the vehicle was good to go. Please note that my son specifically spoke to items that he felt might have been going wrong with the engine to the technician by the name of Ryan. None of the issues which were verbally spoke about where even addressed. They blew his concerns/ assessment off like he had no idea what he was talking about. They ended up doing some suspension work. Along with some other miscellaneous things. The purpose of dropping the vehicle off was to make sure that the engine was safe and sound for my son who is going away to college. Two days later on a road trip to college the vehicle breaks down. Completely disabled 50 miles outside of our destination- The oil light flashed a a few times -the engine completely seized leaving my 18 year old son ,myself and my 12 week old baby bstranded on the side of the highway! Exactly what I was trying to avoid .... After waiting on a tow truck for 2 1/2 hours and spending another $200 to have it towed into town to an authorized dealership we had a full diagnostic ran. it was determined that the engine needed to be completely replaced. bearing in mind the whole purpose of taking the vehicle in to be serviced the week prior was to make sure that the engine was in sound condition. As it stands in order for Trucks only to apply the engine for life warranty they are stating I I have to supply receipts of service for the last three years (Which is not an issue) however I feel as though they should OwN their part reguarding their neglect in the service that was performed days prior to the engine breaking down. Granted no one has a crystal ball however the vehicle was in their possession for almost a week and $1800 was spent specifically to insure that the vehicle was in sound operating condition. It's apparent that it was not! As of today I am paying $475 to tow it back into Phoenix and have it left at Truck ONLY #trucksonly and having to jump through hoops to get repairs going. Not to mention the $145 diagnostic fee I had to pay to the author rise dealership to confirm that it was in fact the engine. After speaking with Jason the service manager and head of the department it's apparent that nobody wants to own responsibility for the lack of service that was performed two days prior to the breakdown. That simply is Unacceptable. Especially when the owner spoke specifically to what the concerns were and they were completely ignored and unauthorized repairs were done instead. That is why they're receiving a one star rating! Due to their inability to own their role in this infortunate turn of events. Yes there are multiple facets to my discontent - the $1800 that I ended up paying last week was for repairs that I didn't even authorize. The service technician Ryan was supposed to call us and provide a cost difference in suspension work versus doing a lift and instead of doing so they just proceeded with the repairs and then charged me for something that may or may not have been Needed depending on the direction I wanted to go. I've been a loyal customer for years purchasing over 5 vehicles in last three years. Most recently purchasing an 2018 suburban at 50 K ! I have even referred multiple people to purchase vehicles from this organization again only to have to jump through hoops to get my referral bonus. When it comes down to their service warranty don't expect it to be done without substantial effort's and if you expect them to own any errors or repairs orders Be prepared to talk to people for weeks if not months to get it done. That is not the way you treat a loyal customer. I purchased on December 18th, since then I have had repeated problems with the Turbo in the F150 that I bought. After purchase I learned that they had replaced the Turbo prior to my purchase. We took the truck back in 9 days due to the check engine light being on. We were told nothing was wrong, then a week later they had to replace the Turbo. After that the Turbo blew again, stranding my wife and blowing smoke into the cab. That happened on January 28th, I have not had the truck running since that time, it has been in the shop at Trucks only for almost a full month and repairs continue to fail, the latest is that it will be taken to a Ford dealership next week to see if they know what is wrong. We had the vehicle, a better-than-average 2014 RAM Outdoorsman 5.7 Hemi, for sale on Offer Up with little results. Chris, the actual Trucks Only business owner, called us and asked to see the vehicle for an estimate. We drove her into the Mesa/Country Club location of Trucks Only and were greeted promptly (always a big deal for me). Chris had the Technicians take the vehicle in for a quick inspection. We met Chris in his office 15 minutes later with a deal ready to go! We had paid off this truck a few years ago and had a clean Arizona title in hand and the vehicle was well cared for, garaged and clean. I was surprised by how many NICE, lifted trucks this location had. Anyway, everyone we met was friendly, really, and helpful. My wife took some last pics of the vehicle, shed a tear (since we taught our youngest daughter how to drive in this vehicle in Jarbidge, Nevada; of all places!) and we felt very satisfied with the consideration Trucks Only gave us. Totally recommend for pre-owned, lifted trucks. I mean, they even had a RAM TRX (the 6.2L Hellcat motor) for sale out front. That TRX is not an easy vehicle to get a hold of at this time! Place is unprofessional. We had issues with our registration and plates, and the woman in charge of sending that paperwork to the DMV we could not get ahold of for over a month. When it came time to make our first payment info was entered incorrectly so we had issues making our very first payment. We had to go through an entirely different process to correct the incorrect information that THEY had entered. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We came to agreement on my truck, and I traded it in. I was out the door in less than two hours. I now have an absolutely beautiful 2019 black Jeep Sahara. They had lifted it and put new tires on it! I was in dire need. So They sold me a lemon. Day 2 of ownership the vehicle got hot. I brought it back in and they fixed the oil cooler. Months later it started to over heat again. I brought it back and again it was the same issue but now my radiator was leaking for obvious reasons. They said they would fix their mistake again but wanted to charge me for the radiator etc. Nothing they ca do. They Blamed me for theirs ineptness and said lemon law doesn't cover it. I took the vehicle to a a real mechanic and spent a lot on replacing the radiator etc. then took it to a dealership and ended up $8500 in the hole to trade it in. Worst place ever to buy a vehicle. I'll ride a bike before I drive anything off their lot. They knew what they were doing. read more

BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever done business with. They are an unresponsive and unreliable company. I cannot believe this place is still in business considering they sell unsafe unchecked trucks and they have their employees spray paint over any rust that is visible on their vehicles. My fiancé bought a truck from this sham of company about 4 months ago and was told everything was good to go, just wait for the plate in the mail. A week after his temp plate expired he called them asking about his plate and they proceeded to tell him that the truck needed emissions done and that they lied about that part when he purchased it. Fortunately, they made him an appointment and said to just bring it in that they could do it there and it would only take a few minutes. He drove the 45 minutes it takes to get there and once there he was left outside (due to the waiting room being full of people since they are shitty at scheduling) to wait for his vehicle, he waited for 3 HOURS in 100 degree weather. He finally got the truck home after they gave him yet another temp plate since his hadn't even been mailed and to this day he still has no plate. After the 3rd month two warning lights on the dash popped on. One reading "Service Stabiltrack" and one reading "Service Emissions 100miles until 65mph top speed". He obviously took it back in to them to service. Once there they let him know that he wouldn't be getting his vehicle back for over a week (now going on two weeks), that they would not be able to provide him with a loner vehicle in the mean time, and that what needed serviced would not be covered on his 3 year warranty that they pulled out of their ass just to sell him on the truck. Now he calls them daily since obviously they won't reach themselves and is given an array of excuses as to why he can't pick up his vehicle and that they still have no desire to give him a rental or a discount on the services they are "providing". All in all this is an absolute joke of a company that needs to get their shit together or get their business license revoked. read more

"No problem, we will get it taken care of" said the service manager. 2 weeks after signing our contract we were able to take it home. Nothing but issues ever since. It has been in 2 more times, supposedly has had the transmission "rebuilt" and serviced again. Trying to schedule a service appointment is a joke-it's always a 2 week wait for them to keep the vehicle for several days, return it as "all good to go" yet still issues remain. No extended warranty offered, no paperwork on what they do to the vehicle when they "service" it. Final straw with the truck - "You need a new transmission and it will be at least $2600". They are not taking responsibility for it. I AM DONE! We purchased several cars from them and I am so disappointed and angry that they treat people this way. They have several locations-a new one in Tucson as well. My advice is to STAY CLEAR of this company...they say "No Problem" when they are having you sign on the dotted line but they really mean is "We don't care what kind of junk we are selling you". I just purchased a 2015 GMC Terrain with under 10k miles from here and so far am completely satisfied. My car buying experience was alright. I brought my dad to help me out and we knew what we were looking for and what we wanted to pay. We worked with a younger salesman who was easy to talk to and showed me only what I wanted to see. I had found a great deal online ahead of time. Low pressure unlike other car dealerships, but we did have to walk out twice before getting the price we really wanted. The paperwork process was pretty quick and I left the lot with my new car. I would recommend purchasing from here if you find a good deal, but I probably wouldn't recommend a first time car buyer to go there alone. I bought the car with a damaged bumper and the promise to fix it. I am still waiting to hear form the service department about whether the parts are in and when we can get that scheduled. After my 4 hour drive to the dealeeship i was greeted with smiles and my truck!! Once the test drive was out of way the salesman noticed a small squeek on the back brakes and had that fixed within minutes. The paperwork portion was strramlined and VERY fast!!!
