They had one pot of boiling oil for all the orders they received. I asked a patron if it was good and he gave me a rude look and said, "Of course I am eating it." That should have been my sign from God not to order, but I had a long night of drinking and had nothing since an early breakfast. So I ordered... I figured it would be really good for the 30 minute wait and $15.00, but alas disappointing. Tasteless fish that was either fresh or frozen Pacific cod or frozen poor quality Atlantic cod. The batter was excellent as were the chips and the oil was fresh. I grew up on the north Atlantic coast in the US and lived in England and Ireland. The fish was just awful and that is the entreé so one star. That guy I asked had zero tastebuds. Long Covid? See a doctor, just not me please! Zero ambiance.

They had paper ordering sheets and pencils at the table, which seemed smart. The special of the day was carne asada. You can get flour or corn tortillas though this isn't indicated anywhere. I got a carne asada taco and a green Chile brisket taco. Both had a lot of meat but I wish there had been more toppings. The meat was good but there weren't any sauces or salsas available so it just seemed rather plain and a bit clumsy. My friends had gotten tacos before me and all felt the cheese was definitely parmesan and not cotija, and didn't like it, so I asked for no cheese. I would have liked these better with a scoop of pico! The young woman working to take orders was very friendly and helpful!

Solid place for all your mods! I walked in just asking questions because I'm not exactly an…read moreoutdoorsy person, nor do I go offroading or anything like that. However, this place has a great reputation and their IG also shares events they host once in a while. I spoke with Jordan and asked questions about things I was looking to get done. Most are cosmetic, which they don't do, but he recommended a few places for me to try for the things I do want. He was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The store has lots of merch including t-shirts, hats, accessories, you name it, they probably have it. It's very clean inside and the employees were all nice and ready to help out. Check out SDHQ Motorsports for all of your modifications!

They are willing to talk about any and all modifications, give thorough explanations, and help determine which route is best for you. The only issue when visiting their shop is my willpower is about as robust as my wallet (not very). I recently put on stage 8 icon on my ranger. Initially I had the standard springs. After adding a bit more weight all around it was suggested to upgrade the springs in the front coilovers to support a heavier load. Dustin reached out to icon, asked the engineers what they could do and what would work. Turns out 700# springs used on Tacomas work nicely on the ranger as well! Extremely happy with the end result. Great people, great shop, great products.

I took in both complete spring packs off my 3/4 ton pickup truck to be re-arched or replaced. They…read moresaid they were too worn to be re-arched and should instead be replaced. I agreed and also asked them to go ahead and just replace everything, shackles, bolts, u-bolts and overloads. Paid upfront with my credit card and a week later, my parts were ready for pickup. Picked them up and went to install them. That's when i noticed an issue. There was a set of spring alignment pins for a Freightliner but there were no overload springs. It's easy enough to return the pins but without those overload springs, it is not possible to tighten the u-bolts as i am unable to use the existing top plate or cast iron spacer because of the overload spring alignment nubs that are cast into the part. So, at that point the installation could go no further. I called Spectrac to try to figure out what happened and what needed to happen next. This is where things get weird. I "assumed" that the semi truck pins were supposed to be the overload springs and someone had an oops moment. It happens to us all from time to time so no big deal. Then i'm told that the only mistake was giving me the pins and if i wanted the overload springs i had paid for already, i would be blessed with the opportunity to pay for them again. After having already spent $900 on rear leaf springs, overloads, shackles, bolts, and u-bolts, i was repeatedly, but politely, told that these are not "usually" included with rear springs and that if i wanted to finish this installation, buying new overload springs from them was my only option. That is not an option. So, here i sit with an undrivable truck, a $900 hole in my wallet, and a company that could care less. All because of two overload springs i already bought and have not received.
