We have gone go tru burger twice now and have loved it both times! It's been years since I've had a burger of this caliber and it's such a treat to find one so close to home. The first burger I tried was the bistro burger which has goat cheese, bacon, spring mix and balsamic reduction on a brioche bun. It was so juicy and delicious, all of the ingredients were good quality and fresh and the burger was a perfect medium rare. My husband got the blue cheese burger which has blue cheese, bacon on a brioche bun, also cooked perfectly and the cheese was delicious. The next time we went we got the Greek burger and the bbq burger. The Greek burger had feta, tzatziki sauce and pickled onions. Again it was cooked a perfect medium rare and the flavor was amazing. We also got the bbq burger which has bbq sauce, onion rings, bacon, cheddar and we added blue cheese. That burger was the star for us, it was so juicy and flavorful! We ordered the bbq chicken wings from the happy hour menu, unfortunately it took almost an hour to get them but our server was nice and took them off of our check, they were also delicious! Very slow service on a Monday around 11:30am. It took a long time to have somebody take my order and receive my drink. I had to ask another waitress for a refill . The waitress asked me.. I remember coming here and having a really good impossible burger. I ordered one for take out and it wasn't an impossible burger like stated on the menu which didn't completely deter me but then tasting it it wasn't really good at all lol the zucchini fries were okay I think I paid a bit under $10 for them which you had to pick a mandatory side with the burger which was weird but ok. read more

Such a good place, we stopped here on our way to flagstaff. The staff and the place had a very chill vibe. The food was delicious. We were starving so once our food came I dug in! Went there today to try the turkey burger lettuce wrap and my husband wanted the green Chile burger with queso blanco. These were both uninspiring. The turkey burger lettuce "wrap" consisted of bits and layers of iceberg still very wet. It was slippery not to mention you can't call it a wrap. Maybe a salad? The burger was a big portion and well seasoned, but too soft and mushy inside. The green chili burger was overcooked. The supposed queso blanco dip was not blanco and smelled rancid. Went to Tru Burger for the second time and it was AMAZING. The first time the service was just as bad as the food. This is a complete 180 degree turnaround. I ordered the Bison burger and it was amazing! I don't normally try my sons's food, but his chicken fingers were cooked to perfection. My wife's burger was a little dry. However, the service was fantastic! The waitress, Erica, brought a bowl of water for a couple sitting next to us which was above and beyond. The whole experience was amazing. Worst service EVER. I realize many businesses are suffering because they cannot get enough staff--or any staff--these days. However, if you are earning a living making tips, could you at least pretend to like your job? When you wait an hour and a half for a lunch order (3 tables in the place at the time) and the server is literally nonexistent it is really difficult to give praise of any sort. There were so many other issues with our experience, but I will not recount them all. The SERVICE was the biggest issue.
