Don't look at menus on line, they are non existent items. Don't point out the menu on line they respond very arrogantly especially the red head bartender. Service was very friendly and took care of us very well. Ambiance was very saloon like. Looked like more of a bar than a restaurant. Had Italian Sandwich with fries and wife had a side salad and the Camelback ( like a patty melt ) . Both were excellent and the fries were seasoned and delicious. While waiting for tires, there were a few options nearby to relax and have something to eat and we decided on Peaks & Valleys. It advertised itself as a restaurant but when we walked in, it was a bar. Not usually a fan of bar food, I thought it was going to be disappointing, but I was so wrong. The food was actually very good! Not bar food at all! The woman running the bar couldn't have been any nicer & welcoming to us. The food was delicious. It was a very quiet time of day (brunch) and the menu was as good as any restaurant with several breakfast and lunch options (breakfast served all day on weekends). read more

My husband and I were wanting breakfast and/or brunch, and we decided to try Peaks & Valleys Restaurant. We were welcomed, served and treated kindly by Roger. We were glad we came out! There was only 1 man at the bar and a group of 4 at a table. The rest of the place was empty. From the outside, and lack of cars, made us Joe they were open--because we were hungry! We sat at a tall table in the back. It was windy, and the plastic window/walls were creaking a bit. However, the views were pretty and I can imagine how nice it would be there on a warm night. The music pipped through was great, and we kept capturing the songs, so we could listen to them again later. I ordered a Bloody Mary w/Tito's vodka (yeah, it was there), and it was thought that we both ordered them. It was a mistake, and I offered to drink the second one...but Roger said to not worry, and he was going to dump it. Oh no! That's, in my world, is alcohol abuse! Ha! Anyway, my husband ordered his Mimosa and was happy. For food, I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, and my husband ordered a Denver Omelette. Both plates were fresh, hearty, and delicious! Oh, and quite affordable! Per Roger, the menu was to be updated soon, which is why it had blackouts on it. I'm guessing more people come there for drinks, with friends, to shoot pool, enjoy the ambiance and enjoy the views. I'm just happy we have a new place to go for a yummy meal! We will be back! Love it! We are relatively new to the neighborhood (2 months) and this is our go to spot. Great food (reminds me of really good Greek diner food) in a no frills cowboy bar! Staff is great and EVERYONE waits on you, never waiting in service. The woman that owns/runs the bar has a wonderful personality and makes sure people are treated like family! Horrible food! Salad was brown! Ranch dressing tasted like straight mayo. Soft drinks ordered were flat. $27 dollars for a tasteless chicken fried steak and a baby baked potato. Who serves brown salad? The staff must care so little about serving fresh food. It used to be really good food. Never again!! read more

Nice place...a little divey (which isn't a bad thing). It's a county music kind of place - NOT my thing but tolerable considering the foot was GREAT! Chicken fried chicken was fantastic and the BLT salad had lots of crisp well done bacon. I came into this place while I was getting a tire fixed next door. My bad day instantly went into a good day because of this bartender Meghan. She had me a new drink anytime my glass was half empty, she let me sample food, she even let me pick out her new sunglasses. I have never felt more welcome at a new place! read more

I got the worst service I've ever had here. When me and my Mother asked how much the well drinks were, the bar tender said they were 4.25 and pointed to the menu. When we got the tab they were 4.75 each. When we pointed it out she said that the 4.25 price was the old menu and didn't offer to do anything until we told her that it's not okay to tell someone a different price verbally AND point it out on the menu. She did offer to take a drink off the tab but also said if we don't like the prices we don't have to come back. My mom said she's sorry that the bartender doesn't understand our position, while the bartender replied "I'm sorry you don't understand our prices" I'm a server myself, I understand a lot of guests are rude but we were very polite and understanding but the way this bartender treated us was the worst service I've ever received or even seen working in the industry for 5 years. read more

More of a country type place. They had great appetizers, as the four items my group ordered all went down easy and picked those dishes clean. It would help if the ladies room had more than 2 stalls... not their fault I'm sure. Also found the servers and bartenders there are very friendly and entertaining. This is a fun place, and I had a great time even though I'm not a country type person myself. One negative point of this place is some of the songs my friend paid for on the jukebox was skipped over. Not fun to pay good money to listen to a song from the play list and only get 10 seconds of song. read more

We were encouraged to give them another shot and I'm glad we did. They've reconfigured the inside and it looks like some renovations are still happening. It still has a ways to go but it's looking much better and more like a "real" restaurant. The food has improved as well. The AZ tots are tasty. My buffalo chicken wrap hit spot and the side of peppercorn sweet potato fries were yummy as well. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his chicken corn chowder soup. He raved about the mashed potatoes but found the chicken fried chicken a bit tough. We will be back! read more

We will come back to this place. I had the chicken fried steak with baked potato and steamed veggies. Everything was cooked just right. I could cut the steak with my fork. The chicken corn chowder was "to die for". Service was excellent, everyone was really friendly. I recommend making the drive. read more

Great value! Peaks and Valleys has a nice variety of tasty food, reasonably priced, with a very friendly wait staff. My family has been there on a number of occasions and we've always been very pleased. They now have a full-service bar up front for those so inclined. Been to this place about a dozen times. Got turned on to it because they are ( were ) part of a barter group that I do business with. The reviews here seem generally spot on... Dive bar with average to good food. Jalapeno Tater Tots are very good btw. Most of my visits have been breakfast.... also very good and great weekend bartender! On Sunday night we came in for dinner after a day of motorcycling with friends. Sat at the bar and it took 10 minutes for my gal and I to get a drink. Another 15 minutes before our dinner order was taken. My girl and I split the prime rib as we aren't big eaters.... ordered med rare.... came out somewhere between medium well and well done. Not the end of the world. Bill came to $52 with tax and I tendered $50 barter currency and a $20 bill to cover tip ( 30% ) despite the fact that the service AND food on this occasion were sub par. I ALWAYS over tip when doing barter because the last thing I want is to have a restaurant owner or their staff get a bad taste for barter business. When the bartender advised me that they were not any longer accepting the barter currency... I was definitely disappointed as I chose to come here to use trade. Nothing was posted on their door ( which I"ve seen done at other places ). In light of this revelation,.... I tendered $60 cash since food and service reflected 15% as an appropriate tip. On that note..... remember when 15% WAS a good tip IF you received a great experience????? As we were headed out the door the bartender ( Beard & Plaid Lumberjack Shirt ) yelled across the restaurant 80' some sarcastic comment about thanks and glad you came in. Aside from taking our order.... that was the most he spoke to us all night ...... so fair assessment that he saw the lesser tip and was unimpressed. Completely out of line and unnecessary. I came here awhile ago and the wings were fantastic, so decided to come again. Just opened up post coronavirus... this place is filthy. You would think being closed for six weeks they would have taken that time to clean this place... nope. There is dirt, dust bunnies, old food, grease, and other crud under the chairs and tables. The fries tasted like they never changed the grease. I had to send my wings back 3 times because they weren't cooked. However, the beer was cold and the server was super nice. I wont be coming back. Not worried about the coronavirus, more worried about getting something else there! read more

We have come here several times... we want to like it, it's a cool dive bar with lots of food options and live music, however, the service is horrible :( we have actually walked out several times due to not even being acknowledged by any of the staff. We arrived tonight around 6:45 and at 7:05 decided to head to Buffalo Wild Wings since not one person even said we will be right with you or can we get you a drink or even hi for that matter... so disappointed, hopefully the manager wasn't on duty because if that's the case then perhaps it's time to get a new manager. read more

This place is still serving up awesome food. It never fails when we are hungry and up in the area. Yesterday was our first time back in a few months and the remodeled inside looks great! I ordered eggs over medium, toast with home fries and a small stack of pancakes. Everything came out perfect and delicious. My boyfriend got the buffalo chicken wrap and that thing is GIANT and friggin' tasty.
