Went for the first time based on the amazing reviews and we were very let down. It was half full on a Monday night. Service was very slow and not attentive. Wife and I ordered the burger as a safe bet for a restaurant and both got medium-well. Her burger came out with a cool rare center and mine closer to well. Had to track down the server through another person as she disappeared. She then acted like it was our problem it wasn't cooked even close to the right temp and said they could heat it more but already had ketchup/mustard and toppings in it. She then took the plate and asked if we wanted to keep the fries but no plate or place to put them. Maybe she wanted to drop them on the table? She then came back and told us it would be 15-20 minutes as they had some other orders. Meanwhile kids and I had our food. She then came back 20 Min later with a charcoal briquette (burger) and left. There was no apology, concern, care, or any compensation to wait for their issue. The burger was underseasoned and bland anyway. Fries were good, kids "frozen low quality Mac and cheese" (yes her words but my kids didn't understand and wanted Mac anyway) was edible. Won't be going back. read more

Horrible service. We arrived at 0820 with a party of 9 7 adults and 2 kids. Yelp shows the restaurant is open until 1000pm. However, the waitress stopped us at the door and declined us service stating they closed at 9. We shared that Yelp showed closed at 1000. The girl said "I don't know, they just told me to tell you that. I just started here". We all sat outside looking for somewhere else to go and while we were there they sat three other parties (a couple, a foursome, and a party of three). It appeared they were just being lazy and refusing us service. Too bad, they lost a customer for life and profit from our party. Poor service! read more

We finished a hike and wanted to go to a dive type bar for some snacks and a few drinks. The fried zucchini and onion rings were perfect for what we were looking for. I was disappointed to see that there wasn't much in the way of beer other than your common Bud, Bud Lite, Coors kind of things. As for cocktails, there wasn't no "drink menu" to be found so if you knew what you wanted to drink you were fine but if you were looking to try something new you were basically out of luck. Walking in, there wasn't a sign that said wait to be seated but then we were told to sit wherever we liked. That was fine except I'm not sure the person who told us that even worked there ‍. Not long after we sat in the miniature bar area the bartender came over to get our drink order. We made it halfway through our drinks before they came back to see if we wanted food. At Brisam's, the "Food is Excellent" and I have been going to this restaurant for many years with my wife, children, and friends. One suggestion.... it's always nice to occasionally see some new food dishes on the menu. The "Service has been Fantastic" with Paige, Kevin, Issac, and the other service people. However, my wife and I sure miss our "longtime excellent waitress" Cindy, since her departure from employment at Brisam's. We have now reduced our visits to Brisam's from 2x to 1x per week. The "Ambiance is Very Pleasant, along with the small friendly bar, excellent bartenders, and the great cooking staff. With that said, we still feel this is one of the #1*Best Restaurants in the Cave Creek area! read more

We were greeted right away with a smile & we sat at a big booth which was very comfortable. Right away walking in you notice the smell of Fabulosa which was overwhelming. Our server was top notch. Friendly, efficient, looked you in the eye and took our drink and food orders by memory. There seemed to be a bartender and 2 servers taking care of the entire place which was quite busy so that was impressive because they did a great job. The meatball appetizer was very good as was the Mexican pizza~ tons of flavor! The fish & chips on Fridays is a must try. The maybe comes in because it's a grill & bar but the menu suggests it's more than that. The hard rock music is a bit much trying to have conversation ~ and we enjoy hard rock on occasion. They truly care about making their customers feel welcome and ensuring customers enjoy the food & drinks! Hats off to the kitchen!! Such a variety of food choices on the menu and so far I've liked everything I've tried! Our favorites are the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the Greek salad! The restaurant is intimate...family friendly...outside patio but unfortunately it is a Smoking patio...and a nice bar (although we wish it was bigger). I'd say nice staff and vibe, I don't usually leave reviews but I feel I should at least mention this so maybe it can be improved. I got the Jumbalaya (this was my first time ever having jambalaya) which was amazing, the garlic bread that came with it really complimented the flavor, no complaints about that. My partner got the pizza (Brisams Pizza I think it was called), that wasn't that great, now the toppings were fine it was the crust that ruined it, unfortunately I feel the crust was way too thin, the sauce or something just soaked it making the slices soggy and fall apart. I think the pizza would be amazing with just a thicker crust. Great place overall though would definitely try again another time! :) read more

Great service and nice menu. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and it was very fresh bread and a delicious sandwich. Definitely an off night at Brisams, which was unfortunate! It was about 7 PM on a Sunday night and we were sat at a high top so we could watch football. The special on this particular night was 2 pork chops with a baked potato and vegetable . Both My Son and I ordered the pork chops at $18. What came to our table was a thin cut bone in piece of leather. Literally not sure how they could call it a pork chop to begin with. They were so overcooked that they were curled up. Our waitress/ bartender didn't come over till the very end and asked me if I wanted a box. I told her the pork chops were awful and inedible and she literally looked me in the face and said OK. Turned around and She Got our check didn't apologize or anything. Luckily, the baked potato was decent, as we were starving! I'm kicking myself for not taking a photo. We've dined in several times and this experience definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. read more

Wow! Does this place suck, now! Used to be a reliable lunch spot for a beer and a sandwich. Seems like all the old staff left, and it really shows now! Waited 23 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us, and another 30 minutes for drinks. The food finally came out, fries were cold, buns were burnt, and the service was un exceptional....we won't be back anytime soon. Too bad, this spot used to be good....I hope they can survive on the 8 bar flys in the bar...nothing else is as it was here... too bad. read more

Don't know why we took so long to try this place out... but wow - becoming one of our regular stops. Place is always busy - not too busy - but the kind of busy that tells you people love it and the food is fresh and consistent. The only server we've ever had here is a long time employee - she is the most friendly and efficient server I've ever seen. We can go weeks without stopping by and she remembers us and our preferences! We especially love the Creole Shrimp appetizer. O MY! yummy and such great sauce to dip your garlic bread in. We even took the left over sauce home and made a delish Creole Shrimp main the next day with the sauce as the base. Fantastic! I'm salivating thinking of what I'll order next when we go! read more
