Very BAD service. we are from out of state and wanted something refreshing . found this place so we decided to try it out. we walk in we dont get greeted by the lady behind register mind you there is noone there. she continues to ignore us we are reading the menu and we cant even get a hi do you need more time or ill be right with you. very poor customer service, she needs to get retrained and maybe need to hire ppl who are friendly. i will make sure to not come here again read more

Went with my toddler and husband 2/16/26 after 6:30 pm. The two young girls there were so LOUD and our presence meant nothing to them. Like I mean uncomfortably loud. Their loud voices is all we heard. I couldn't hear myself speak in there. The girl who came to ask what I needed AFTER she decided to take a pause from their relationship problem convo gave me the meanest look after I told her I was there for an order pickup. She proceeded to just point to where the pickup items were. Nothing else. Then went on to her inappropriate and loud conversation. We ended up leaving as my toddler didn't need to hear the word "deada**" or about the complicated relationship with that guy they were talking about. Someone needs to train them on how to show respect to dining in customers. Never in my life have I experienced workers yelling out their relationship issues while I sat and ate with my family. I kept trying to look and make eye contact to see if they took the hint but again, our presence was irrelevant and their conversation was way too important. If tomatoes are classified as a fruit, isn't ketchup technically a smoothie? Regardless, it's a good thing they don't serve ketchup smoothies at Tropical Smoothie Cafe (TSC). One of my favorite things to get at TSC is their Peanut Butter Cup + fat burner! Do I actually think the fat burner helps? Probably not. But I'm pretty much drinking dessert so I like to add it just to pretend like I'm having a healthier drink. Hey, the PB Cup Smoothie has 710 calories and most of those calories come from carbohydrates (69%) with fat and protein making a lesser portion. Let me live my lie, okay? So yes, TSC is always a great place to grab a smoothie. This location is nice, clean, and really bright. The staff here are also friendly. I recommend popping in if you're in the area! read more

Fruit in and of itself is sweet and if you actually add a banana to the strawberry banana smoothie, it would be sweet on its own without having to add an entire scoop of sugar.. We ordered a strawberry banana smoothie with no sugar got home added a banana, and it tastes perfectly sweet and has a much better texture. I don't know of any other smoothie places that add sugar to their smoothies, but definitely avoid this place. read more

Beware. Smoothies contain between 80-140 grams of sugar. That's the same as eating 11 full tablespoons of straight sugar. Their smoothies are far from healthy. They don't list all the ingredients in the smoothies in the menu. They add sugar to everything. They use juice concentrate instead of real fruit like it says in the menu. They have more sugar in these smoothies than a glass of soda. They also don't give the happy hour price on smoothies unless you ask for it. So I read several other reviews about how the staff at this location were unfriendly and seem to hate their job, followed up by the owner apologizing for the experience. Well, that makes a lot of sense now because today I witnessed the manager/owner berating an employee in front of all the customers (several times) and was so angry that he threw a container back and hit her across the chest. I have owned several ventures and let me tell you, employees are not going to respect your business, your property, or your customers if you treat them with such contempt. They won't care about your investment or finances and ultimately your business will suffer, hence all the negative reviews here that have nothing to do with the food or smoothies. Hire yourself a friendly manager with customer service experience to take the reins and then get out of their way so they can establish a positive environment with properly trained staff. Let me start by saying that when I was there, the place was staffed by teenagers and one angry grown man. I watched a woman wait for a smoothie, one smoothie, for about 15 minutes before she got up and asked about her smoothie status. She was already waiting when we came in so I don't know how long she was waiting before that. What I do know is that when she talked to the cashier he put on a blank face and looked around. Someone else asked him if she ordered a Beach Blast or something like that. He then looked at her and asked if she ordered a Beach Blast. She said yes. Then the other employee said to the cashier it's in the fridge. "The ffridge?" the befuddled cashier inquired. With a deep sigh the other employee walked over to "the fridge" and pulled out "the smoothie". She handed it to the cashier. The cashier handed it to the customer. The customer asked why they didn't call her name and she cashier shrugged and said, we lost the tag. When the customer asked how long it had been sitting there the answer was another shrug. Not a single apology was to had today my friend. I'd ordered a banana smoothie. "Just banana?" I was asked? "Yep!" was my enthusiastic answer. "No sugar?" was the next puzzled question. "Well, yes, sugar, whatever you normally do like strawberry banana but no strawberry." When I got my smoothie it was only full 2/3rds of the way. I must have had a funny look on my face because the girl that handed it to me said it's short because there's no strawberry. Which makes no sense because it isn't like they shorted what they asked me to pay them. But rather than argue with kids I headed out the door. I will say, delicious smoothie. Maybe once they get their act together I will go back but for now, I'm all set with paying full price for 2/3rds of a smoothie no matter how yummy it is. read more

As a local business owner, I would encourage a manager on staff to oversee how these kids are treating the VALUED customers. I've been going here for 2 years, and tonight I walk in with a group of teenagers huddling with the employee. No big deal. Well her friend was extremely rude because well I have scars on my face. Not the best to look at. I get it. But he continued and I finally asked him if we knew each other. Basically put a bad taste in my mouth. Got home. My flat bread wasn't toasted, poorly made, and smoothie terrible. Real big let down. I get it was late, but MIA let the store down.
