Free açaí taster on the right, small açaí bowl on the left

As a devoted regular at Berry Divine, I rarely try other açaí bowl places, but my friend and I were next door and decided to pop in. She got the Cali Bowl with no bananas and tried to pay with cash while I was next door but quickly learned that they don't accept cash. When she came next door to tell me, we walked over together to pay with card and they had already made her bowl. I asked if they could put the bananas on the side so we could just share her bowl, and the nice guy behind the counter made me a free bowl with just açaí, bananas, granola, and honey. I thought that was so nice! As we sat there and ate our bowls, he checked on us and made sure we were happy with them. They also give free tasters that were generous is size. The Tahiti base was more bitter than the Cali base, but both had a smooth and creamy texture that didn't easily melt which was great. My main qualm is that I didn't like the granola they used (Torn & Glasser Natural Honey Almond Granola). It wasn't very crunchy and had a bunch of flat oat pieces in it, which made for a weird texture experience. I'd give the service five stars (or more if I could!) and the açaí bowl itself two stars, so I averaged the two out to a three out of five. If I come back, I'd just get the açaí by itself. They were playing reggae while we ate, and no one else came during the thirty minutes we were there. Lots of seating inside though.

Açaí Republic just recently opened up nearby on Alma School and Chandler Heights and we wanted to give it a try! We ordered on their mobile app and had a short wait upon arrival. Their staff was very friendly and kept us informed on what was going on (I wish I got her name! She was super polite and professional). The smoothies are amazing. They taste and feel healthy. We got a berry best smoothie and classic smoothie with almond milk and whey protein added. Both were amazing. Next time I'll try their pitaya smoothie or apple oatmeal smoothie! This location is very clean (including their bathrooms) and they have cute designs on the walls such as açaí benefits and the açaí republic timeline. Give this place a try, they were amazing! I recommend downloading the app prior to your visit to collect points on your order.

So happy this is in Chandler! The acai is excellent and everything is always fresh! My daughters love the empanadas too. I highly recommend Acai Republic.

I really like this place! It was clean, clear menu, and a decent amount of seating. I came in for a post-workout smoothie and loved that you could add protein to the smoothie! Excellent Açaí. Loved that it's not too sweet. Had two bowls. One with just pure Açaí and another called the Tahiti, which mixes some berries into the Açaí base. Both were very good but I find mixing fruit into the Açaí base provides a stronger flavor. The fruit did not feel frozen, but fresh. Would definitely come back read more

Ok, this carrot cake is dense, sweet, and had good flavor but the over abundance of frosting made it really, really sweet! We both had a few bites and decided to bring the rest home. The restaurant itself is nicely done, upscale feel but yet not stuffy. The staff was friendly and again, our server was fantastic...thank you Skylar!
