We had a bit of an issue in that we made the reservation over two weeks ago with the specific request to be seated away from the kitchen door, and we ended up being seated right near the very small hostess area and of course, next to the kitchen door. While this location is carry-out only, it was very welcoming. They also sell bottles of wine and had signs talking about them. It was a very neat little local place. Unfortunately, the experience from the moment we sat down until we left was extremely disappointing. First, the soda from the main machine was consistently flat. After receiving flat soda multiple times, we eventually had to ask for refills directly from the bar because that was the only way to get a drink that was actually carbonated. We ordered an appetizer, a pizza, and an Alfredo fettuccine with breadsticks and a salad with ranch. Our server was Marlo. The pizza came out a full 20 minutes before my niece's pasta. When her meal finally arrived, it was completely incorrect. Instead of what we ordered, Marlo brought chicken Alfredo fettuccine with garlic bread and a Caesar salad. My niece's entire order was wrong, and it had already taken 20 minutes longer than our food to arrive. After we pointed out the mistake, Marlo did bring out the correct pasta and breadsticks--but it took another 15 minutes. By that point, my mom and I had already finished eating. My niece was essentially left waiting for her meal while the rest of us ate. Then, when we received the check, we were charged for the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and an additional dollar for the Caesar salad, neither of which was what we ordered. Marlo did not come back to our table for quite some time, so I eventually went up to McKenzie to have the bill corrected. She fixed the charges without me explaining everything that had happened, which I admittedly should have done. What was most disappointing was that, despite the incorrect order, the significant delay, the repeated drink issues, and the fact that my niece didn't receive her correct meal until my mom and I were already finished eating, there was absolutely no attempt to acknowledge or compensate us for the experience. Instead, the only explanation we received from Marlo was that "everyone is new." While I understand that people can be new and mistakes happen, that doesn't excuse the overall lack of communication or the way the situation was handled. We left feeling both rushed and ignored, and the experience was unnecessarily frustrating. Mistakes happen in restaurants, especially when it's busy, but what matters is how those mistakes are handled. Unfortunately, we did not feel that ours was handled well at all. For the price and overall experience, I expected much better and left extremely dissatisfied.

Our impression is that this must be a great location for college students or those who have enjoyed their drinking experience and need some grease to sober them up and don't mind what they are eating. We were very let down in our experience and the lack of professionalism from the employee who seemed to think that since he was in the speakeasy, he didn't need to be professional.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Trophy Pizza in Evendale, Ohio, and I have to say that it's one of the best pizza places I've ever been to. What makes this place even more special is that it's locally owned, which gives it a unique charm and personality that you simply won't find at a chain pizza restaurant. The pizza itself is incredible. It's made in the style of New York City pizza, with a thin and crispy crust that's perfectly cooked every time. The sauce is rich and flavorful, and the toppings are always fresh and delicious. I particularly loved the Grandma's pizza, which is topped with fresh mozzarella, basil, and garlic - it's simply out of this world. Another great thing about Trophy Pizza is that they sell pizza by the slice. I've been eager to try this place for a while to see if they really make a good New York-style pizza, and I wasn't disappointed. It's about as authentic as you can get in Cincinnati. The pizza features big slices on a thin crust, served hot and crunchy straight from the oven. Both the pepperoni and the classic cheese were fantastic. The only downside was that the restaurant was a bit warm for dining in, but the friendliness of the staff more than made up for it. We're very service oriented. I would give both of those five stars. For his side of the pizza it had a great deal of pepperoni and a few pieces of sausage with sliced green peppers. For my side of the pizza, there were minimal vegetable toppings, which was very obvious with the lack of cheese. I could definitely make out onions, mushrooms and green peppers, but not much else. I was very disappointed due to the lack of toppings on the veggie side of the pizza. He was not impressed at all with his pizza. I would not order another pizza from them. I'm disappointed because I had been anticipating experiencing their pizza for quite a long time. I followed them on social media and everything looks fabulous.
