In all my seventy-eight years, I don't believe anyone has ever spoken to me the way he did. I called to ask if he would be able to repair my machine if my local dealer could not. He proceeded to tell me how "silly" (his words) I was for asking him that. I was confused. He wouldn't allow me to explain anything. He talked over me, eventually telling me to take my machine elsewhere, and hung up on me. I had never said an unkind word to him! I sat there stunned. This man is in serious need of counseling. Judging from Moye's reviews, I see that I am not the only person who has been on the receiving end of his nasty temper. I am related to a retired sewing machine repairman who told me that if someone made him mad, he would deliberately damage a customer's machine. I don't know if Moye would do that or not, but I certainly would not trust him. And you people who paid for repairs and received non-functioning machines, three words for you: Better Business Bureau. Moye is not an associate but according to Google, BBB will still accept feedback. It's free and easy to file online. Takes about 3 minutes. Also, small claims court is available.

The woman, who I assume to be the owner, told me that because Tuesday, July 4, 2017 is a holiday that the plant that they send their dry cleaning to would be closed, so the earliest they could get my dress back to me is July 6, 2017 by noon. I had planned to leave for a funeral in MIAMI once I retrieved my black dress from them. I get a call at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 6, 2017 saying my dress wasn't ready. This was clearly a breach not only of an oral contract but a written one as well, because she documented that my dress would be returned to me by Thursday, July 6, 2017 at noon. Because they failed to complete their end of the contract, I now must go and purchase another dress. I don't know about you, but I don't have cash to be throwing around for dresses because a BUSINESS failed to come through. When I said I won't be paying full price because you all failed to complete your end of the deal, she said "I can't do that". So now, I have to purchase a dress and also pay her. If she is hurting that badly for business, then I will throw her her little $15 dollar fee for my late dress, that I will have to retrieve upon my return to Pooler. So unprofessional. Unfortunately, the dress was not finished in time, and communication has now stopped, as l've been blocked after requesting a resolution. She had shipped me the dress half made- not fitting correctly and now what I originally asked for, once i messaged her she blocked me on everything. I provided my own original design for this dress and paid in full with the understanding of that deadline. At this point, I am simply asking for a fair resolution. To hem two pants and the sleeves of a blazer was $115 plus tax (a bit steep there- and much higher than posted on their Facebook). The pants were $25 each and the blazer was $65. I was hopeful the quality of work warranted that price, but unfortunately that's not the case. The seamstress folded in the arms of my blazer and sewed it in like that, leaving button holes visible in the cuff, of which they kept the buttons that they removed. I had to request she sew shut the cuff button holes now mostly on the inside of my blazer at pick up and expressed it doesn't look good as I now have a thick and bulky cuff with visible stitching, and a visible button hole on the edge of the cuff. The stitches are all visible through the outside of the clothes, and the stitches themself are not neat. I'm extremely disappointed that my nice business clothes (all JCrew and in total cost over $400) now look like this and am contemplating how I'm supposed to show up to work with a visibly horribly altered suit. As a positive, they got the work done way faster than requested (almost 2 weeks) or communicated; although, I'd rather they'd have taken their time and done a better job.

When we called to check in on it a few days later, as we had heard nothing, He told me that it had been shipped out to Richmond Hill- I was not told it was going to a completely different facility- and since it's 5pm there's "nothing he can do" (we were calling them all day to check on the dress, no answer). So, now I have no wedding dress the night before my wedding. Zero Urgency from the man we were dealing with, he did not seem to care in the slightest, didn't offer any type of discount or even an apology. Instead, he pointed and raised his voice at me and my fiancé, who had been more than understanding. Neither of us raised our voice or were even rude, I explained several times that we get people make mistakes but we should have been made aware the moment they knew they wouldn't get to it so we would be able to adjust, rather than coming in the morning of my wedding to be yelled at. He told us he "went out of his way to get this done for us" when it was really just fixing their mistake. Not to mention- I paid thirty dollars to add a clip to the top of the zipper because I was desperate. They had the dress for 5 days. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
