Unfortunately, the dress was not finished in time, and communication has now stopped, as l've been blocked after requesting a resolution. She had shipped me the dress half made- not fitting correctly and now what I originally asked for, once i messaged her she blocked me on everything. I provided my own original design for this dress and paid in full with the understanding of that deadline. At this point, I am simply asking for a fair resolution. We had a mold problem in our apartment that was very difficult to totally clean, 2 companies was trying to help, so our clothes were left in the dry cleaners until problem was solved, all the while letting the store know what was going on and we want our clothes. They seemed to understanding, acknowledging they understood, having had extensive conversations. Well when we finally went to pick up our clothes, over a hundred dollars of dry cleaning was stolen, we were told the manager went thought our clothes and took some!! My spouse just told me let's just get what's left and leave. We had close to a $1000 in dry cleaning at that store, you lost customers for life.

We treated them to dinner on Thursday evening. When the waitress was delivering dessert to our table she accidentally tilted the tray and a cup of chocolate ice cream hard shell sauce slid and splashed on my sons blazer sleeve, AND also on the blazer sleeve of his guest. What a mess! However, his guest soon explained that his blazer was Italian handmade, a gift from his mother, and the value $2,000.00. YIKES! Our club promised to replace if needed. I took his custom, Italian blazer to Curry Dry Cleaner first thing Friday morning, 10/27/17. Problem Solved: I delivered the chocolate hard shell sauce stained blazer to Curry Dry Cleaners at 7:30 Friday morning. I explained the entire situation and that our guest was only here for the football weekend. Curry Dry Cleaners examined the blazer and determined fairly quickly that they could remove the stain! Wow, really?!Then they asked if I wanted to pick it up later in the day for our out of town guest! Yes, yes, yes, customer service at its best!!! I'm sold on Curry Dry Cleaners and so is our Atlanta friend! Pictures posted say it all! A+ for great dry cleaning, friendly service and going above and beyond!!!

Full disclosure though--when we returned to pick up one of the suits (he purchased one for the wedding and another for date nights), Lamont wasn't there. Unfortunately, we experienced some of the worst customer service we've ever had. The young Black woman working that day made it clear she would've rather been anywhere else. She tried to engage in small talk toward the end of our visit, but the attitude she had carried up to that point had already left a bad taste. Fast forward to today--my husband and I had some errands to run and decided to stop by Men's Wearhouse first, just to get it out of the way. To our surprise and delight, there was Lamont! We were so genuinely happy to see him. As always, he was dapper and dressed to the nines, instantly elevating the energy of the entire store. One pair was done to my satisfaction. The other pair was not. In fact, the seamstress only hemmed one leg of the pants. I brought this to her attention. I asked if she could fix the pants. The seamstress stated, "Nothing wrong. The pants are fine." I put the pants on and pointed out that one leg was correct and other was far beyond my toes. She said, "I'm sorry. What do you want me to do?" Considering that I have been a customer for over 10 years, I asked if she would hem the other leg. She refused. I tried to reason with her but she was unwilling to fix the error. I will not be patronizing A Straight Stitch again. This is very disappointing as I have received good service over the years.
