The city of Savannah's #1 dry cleaner with good reason and here's why- Problem: My grown son arrived, with several Atlanta friends, for the UGA/FL weekend on Thursday afternoon, 10/26/17. We treated them to dinner on Thursday evening. When the waitress was delivering dessert to our table she accidentally tilted the tray and a cup of chocolate ice cream hard shell sauce slid and splashed on my sons blazer sleeve, AND also on the blazer sleeve of his guest. What a mess! However, his guest soon explained that his blazer was Italian handmade, a gift from his mother, and the value $2,000.00. YIKES! Our club promised to replace if needed. I took his custom, Italian blazer to Curry Dry Cleaner first thing Friday morning, 10/27/17. Problem Solved: I delivered the chocolate hard shell sauce stained blazer to Curry Dry Cleaners at 7:30 Friday morning. I explained the entire situation and that our guest was only here for the football weekend. Curry Dry Cleaners examined the blazer and determined fairly quickly that they could remove the stain! Wow, really?!Then they asked if I wanted to pick it up later in the day for our out of town guest! Yes, yes, yes, customer service at its best!!! I won't ever take anymore of my clothes to the Curry's Dry Cleaning, based on my experience at the Wilmington Island store. We had a mold problem in our apartment that was very difficult to totally clean, 2 companies was trying to help, so our clothes were left in the dry cleaners until problem was solved, all the while letting the store know what was going on and we want our clothes. They seemed to understanding, acknowledging they understood, having had extensive conversations. Well when we finally went to pick up our clothes, over a hundred dollars of dry cleaning was stolen, we were told the manager went thought our clothes and took some!! My spouse just told me let's just get what's left and leave. We had close to a $1000 in dry cleaning at that store, you lost customers for life. read more

Curry Cleaners had nice employees and our clothes look good, but their pricing is VERY EXPENSIVE. We just moved here from Arizona and what would have cost us $55 there was $123 at Curry. Short-sleeve blouses are $11, linen shorts are $11. My husband's work slacks were super expensive too. With these prices I could buy brand new. Won't be going back ever again. read more

The dry cleaning quality is excellent. There has always been someone at the counters staffed by knowledge and friendly people. I've seen a few comments here and there about the pricing. It doesn't bother me as I can see the quality is very good when I get my garments back. I've even had a question or two and called or e-mailed and always get a fast, friendly response back. read more

Mrs. Lisa was very pleasant and professional and was able to accommodate a last minute request to press my husband's suit for his brother's funeral. Not only was my husband's suit pressed to perfection and ready when we needed it early the following morning, Mrs. Lisa's husband graciously assisted my husband with tying his necktie! I can't think of any dry humor, and I also need to clean up my language for this. This was a great place that I searched for. My crappy organizational skills led me to put off getting my shirts dry cleaned before I had an event, so I needed a next day service. The price was not bad for the rush service, and my shirts had my preferred and requested heavy starch. My only complaint is the busy road in front of the business and it stacking up with rude traffic goers who don't want to let you over. I will be back and would love to continue a business relationship. They seemed busy the times that I have stopped so the quick checkin and pickup is efficient. Good friendly people too. I'm note quite sure why the poor reviews. I would highly recommend this place for Dry Cleaning but especially if you want wash and fold. I'm big on wash and fold, usually taking it to a laundromat but they just started the wash and Fold Service and its top notch. I'm guessing the reviews are older. Give them a try. read more

They charge $4 to launder a mens dress shirt. But my shirts are synthetic materials and the clerk said that they would melt in their machines. So they would wash them, then move them to the dry cleaning machines for pressing. The price went up to $7.85 per shirt. These are crazy prices! read more

A couple of years ago, Curry dry cleaners ruined a suede coat. When I picked it up the coat was covered in a greasy coat of cleaning solvent. Against my better judgment, I decided to give them another try with the same disastrous results. Took two high end pair of pants to be cleaned and when I picked them up, the darker colored pants were covered in some sort of lint and both pairs reeked from cleaning solvent. Let them air out a few days hoping that would help but it did not. Will try taking them some where else in hopes they can be salvaged. Will never recommend or use this place again!!! read more

This place is awful. I'd heard it was the best in town...if that's the case, Savannah is screwed!!! I took a tuxedo shirt there to be cleaned for an upcoming party, and when I got it home, it had more stains and dirt than when I brought it in! I don't think they even washed it. It looks like they cleaned the floor with it and the pressed and starched it. I'm mad as hell and it's too late now to do anything about it. Seriously would not recommend. If you expect the bare minimum you will be pleased with what their level of service. Erroneous creases all over my shirts. Collar was pressed in all the wrong spot. Shirts came back to me with dirt on them. Just please go somewhere else not worth the hassle. read more

I can't believe anyone would give Curry a bad review. They do cost a bit more but it's worth it. Everything is spotless and pressed to perfection. No staples in the clothes they use pins. read more

Curry Dry Cleaners is by far the best dry cleaner in Savannah. They always come through with excellent service and the prices are very reasonable. I have been delightfully surprised by the salvation of some rather expensive items that I was sure were ruined. Wrost dry cleaner ever. I ve been moving around the states for the past 5 years, and Ive never been to a place like that. They are located next to a Subway restaurant, and my clothes were smelling like sandwiches! They lost my clothes and I to call myself the alteration service to figure out where stuff was. Worst service at the desk, they are mean and useless. They were complaining to me about how hot it was in the dry cleaner and how tired they were. They didn't want to help me at all. DONT GO THERE ! If I wish I could rate this place - 10 stars They need to change their staff and its WAY TO PRICY! read more
