On my first visit, I found several gowns, all sorts of styles and colors and was happy to try on different dresses to determine what was flattering and appropriate for me. I made a second appointment to make a final decision, where I tried on the original dresses I had looked at and also some new choices Christina thought could be options after getting to know my style and size range. She picked a winner in a special dress that I really love and I'm so excited to know I will look great and feel great on my daughter's wedding day. Anyways. So I was in a pickle and had to get 5 USAF BHG uniforms done for a parade within like 3 days. These uniforms used to take the alterations shop on base about 2 weeks to do from scratch. I sent the specs over to Chrissy along with one of my older uniforms and with a few looks she had it. she knocked out five fully dressed USAF BHG uniforms from nothing to something in 3 days. that include hems, tapers, sew in creases, piping , ranks, waists. no easy task when you virtually have to take the pants apart to do it and then sew them back together again. the prices are more than fair especially if you look at the alternatives on base. she is a master of the trade. Need custom pillows made?she can do it ( I walked in and saw her doing it), need drapes? she can handle that too? need a dress done? bring it in. BY THE WAY-- Name tapes can be done here! why pay the Exchange and have to wait weeks when she can have them done for less and in no time flat. Name tape machine on site! To be a one person shop and provide the service that she does and in the timely manner that she does it makes this shop pretty dang good!

THEIR "REPAIR" RUINED MY SOFA UPHOLSTERY! DON'T GO HERE!…read more The upholstery on my sofa detaches and is machine washable. I tore it while putting it back on. I asked them sew a similar fabric on the UNDERSIDE to reinforce it and keep it from ripping more. Didn't need to be perfect, I knew the tear itself could not be sewn together but patching and stitching the underside could mitigate the damage. I came to pick it up and BOTH SIDES were covered in a fabric patch that's not even a close match! I was told that there wasn't a way to reinforce it from the underside so they just did both. Even if that were true (it's not), why did no one call me FIRST and tell me the work I requested and paid for wasn't possible? This is a very basic ask of a professional tailor, it's unbelievable they got it so wrong! This patch is so much worse than the original tear. The sofa was custom made in Japan and is a one of a kind piece. Pics of the tear and what they did to it. The pics of the denim repair is an example of what I asked them to do.

Jess (Jessica) helped me look through the dresses and explained somethings about how they were displayed and talked about the different designers. OMG! I loved every single one that they had!!!! I wanted to literally try them all. The last one I tried was the stunner and I immediately knew it had to be mine. So I held my breath for her to help me unzip the dress and reach inside for the price tag. OH WOW!!! On special, well below $1,000!! And this dress, my friends, is amazing. I just knew she was going to say it was $5,000. (I later learned that they do not carry anything that expensive) I would post a pic, but I will have to return and do it after my wedding. Needless to say, I was elated. Jessica was so awesome. Props to her and the rest of the kind staff there. Do not let the small town cuteness of this store fool you! It is amazing and the staff is wonderful. They have literally corrected all the mistakes that other bridal boutiques make and perfected their own concept. I cannot express my gratitude to Jessica enough. She and I will be sharing the same wedding anniversary as well. Tell a friend- ditch those other places and look here.
