She cut off the excess material, flipped up about 1/4 inch, and sewed it on a machine, just as you would sew a seam. The stitches are too tight, and the dress no longer falls gracefully to the floor. The bottom of the dress is already turning up, and the dress is truly a disaster. I'm searching for another seamstress to see if it can be repaired, but I seriously doubt it. The event I'm going to is in less than a week, and I'm afraid I won't be able to attend because I won't have a dress. I'm more than disappointed; I'm irate.

THEIR "REPAIR" RUINED MY SOFA UPHOLSTERY! DON'T GO HERE!…read more The upholstery on my sofa detaches and is machine washable. I tore it while putting it back on. I asked them sew a similar fabric on the UNDERSIDE to reinforce it and keep it from ripping more. Didn't need to be perfect, I knew the tear itself could not be sewn together but patching and stitching the underside could mitigate the damage. I came to pick it up and BOTH SIDES were covered in a fabric patch that's not even a close match! I was told that there wasn't a way to reinforce it from the underside so they just did both. Even if that were true (it's not), why did no one call me FIRST and tell me the work I requested and paid for wasn't possible? This is a very basic ask of a professional tailor, it's unbelievable they got it so wrong! This patch is so much worse than the original tear. The sofa was custom made in Japan and is a one of a kind piece. Pics of the tear and what they did to it. The pics of the denim repair is an example of what I asked them to do.

Just picked up my dry clothes which consist a white pants suit and a yellow dress. My suit and dress was new when I took it to them. My white suit looked dirty and my dress was wrinkle. I was told that I had to pay to have them redone. I don't think they dry cleaned it the first time. I will not be returning to this cleaners. the charge you to dry clean your clothes and just put it on a hanger and give it back to you not dry clean at all. Obviously, I was not aware of them closing at three. That's all that had to be said, no commentary needed by the person on the phone. The girl that was actually working behind the counter was actually very polite, but whoever she was on the phone with had an attitude for some reason about it. I get that working right before close and having someone walk in is frustrating, and we've all had it happen to us. She had shipped me the dress half made- not fitting correctly and now what I originally asked for, once i messaged her she blocked me on everything. I provided my own original design for this dress and paid in full with the understanding of that deadline. At this point, I am simply asking for a fair resolution.
