They had my car hostage basically for parking fees i couldnt afford and then finally they gave me a deal and said if i could bring in 100$ that evening then i could take my car. I litterally had 120 to my name left for the month but i came in an gave it to them right away, for them to eventually tell me ..... well i guess the device that is registered to your vehicle is in someone elses vehicle all the way in Montana so we wont be able to get you installed. I said well ill come back for that when you are ready but i still wanted to take my car regardless. ( been over a month already of it being held there) then they tell me well your car isnt going start because its set back up to the initial/ normal way either. SOOOOOOO WHY DID YOU TELL ME TO COME GET IT ???? SOOO THEN they come up with a bunch of other bs saying i had to figure out with the other compony intoxalock..... IMPOSSIBLE 2 different times sat on the phone for over an hr to only be all of a sudden disconnected. not having a phone or a car and just finally getting a place for my son and i to move into after being inbetween places for 3 months and trying to figure out all the extra money i needed to come up with i call them and get told they had the tow yard come pick it up and take it. WTF ARE U F**KING kidding me? saying they couldnt get ahold of me but didnt bother to email me anything, knowing i had no phone at the time. heartless. careless. if your one to have plenty of extra money and can afford random extra problems they seem to throw in the mix of it then sure there work can get done and look great and i can see how someone would 5 star them but if you someone like me and dont have extra funds to hand over like that and are trying to do anything and everything you can to get on track and move forward .... your burnt. not only am i screwed out of a car but everything i did for the courts and my license is irrelevant. i am a new client and this is my first month with them .. thus far the only thing im remotely happy…read morewith is my installer and service guy in asheville nc. his name is chad corbin. thus far the device has yet to violate me . i did have to end up replacing a 10 year old battery but that was coming anyway. i usually get to speak to someone when i call customer service . last night it was giving me a little trouble blowing and not prompting me to blow when my ride was over. i called brad and he told me how to reset it and get the moisture off the alcohol detector and voila. !!! no more issues today . hes a helpful guy and when it was being installed he told me everything i needed to know and stressed rinsing with water down to dont eat honey buns lol...luckily for me i only have to drive it possibly 2 times a month. 1 time for service and once around the block. 11 months to go!!!

I called their credit and billing department, after 20 minutes on hold, I reached a person, they spoke with me for a few minutes, then put me on hold, after another 20 minutes, an AI voice tells me, we're experiencing longer that normal hold times, would you like a call back or continue waiting, I chose waiting, and then was told to call back during their regular hours. THE INSTALLER DAMAGED MY IGNITION SWITCH, when confronted he just mumbled and walked off. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY SUCKS.

She probably has to deal with some angry customers every day and she may be jaded. And no she is not trying to squeeze out every penny, that is the state and their laws about interlock systems. The equipment has been great, service was great and fast, and she charged me less than the people who were servicing my interlock in Oregon. Maybe you guys had bad service because you were unfriendly individuals to begin with. Try smiling and making easy conversation with people sometime, really does wonders.

The device is small and inauspicious but is very expensive. Cost about 300 to have it installed…read morethey charge a ridiculous fee of like 170 a month to have it on top of making you take it to a shop to have it calibrated every month. So you are looking at 200 a month, 300 ish to install and around 100 to remove. The device can go off over pizza, cologne, perfume, pre-workout (high caffeine) I guess. If something sets it off you can be looking at a fine for around 70 dollars. Also several checks, start the vehicle, 4 to 5 minutes later and randomly after that. Had a 35 minute trip and must have blown like 4 times. It feels like just another way for the government to drain the average working American for every penny they can get.

The Life Safer Form clearly states they will respond within 24-48 hours directly to the shop. I emailed the forms to them on Thursday. I came in early to work to check for a response from them this morning but they never responded as the form clearly states they would. I had to google search a phone number for them and spoke w/ "Leeza" from Life Safer - she stated to me that the customer would have to call them (no instructions about that on the form) and that she couldn't help me (the service writer). The customer arrived for her appointment and called them after discussing that the company never responded to her form submission. The person she spoke to then told her the form instructions wasn't updated but they had up to 5 days to approve her interlock bypass. Very disappointing customer service and an unnecessary inconvenience for the shop and the customer.
