Let me begin by saying this is my dream garage, seriously! My experience began with a handshake and conversation, which was nice since I am female and am usually dismissed at garages. Tony is the man to talk to at Trick Truck, he not only treated me with respect, he went above and beyond by leading me through step-by-step what needed to be fixed NOW and possibly later. Not only will you be treated fairly, they will allow you to actually SEE what they tell you needs to be fixed and they will explain why it is important to do so. My 2000 F350 has needed some TLC for a long time now. I got new tires, upper and lower ball joints and shocks. Tony talked to me in-depth about products and pricing and they were able to fix it all in just one day. They even drove me home and picked me up to bring me back when they were finished. Overall, quality work, fair prices and exceptional professionalism and manner, which is paramount to me! We discovered Trick Trucks a year and a half ago and feel we should have found them earlier! On our F-250, they changed glow plugs and wiring, ball joints, shocks etc. for a reasonable price. There was a slow air leak from our mercedes E 350 tires. They fixed it and didn't even charge anything. We are very happy with their service. read more

So had my lifted Silverado go in for some maintenance work at my local mechanic. When it was coming down a U bolt broke. My mechanic is great! Just not someone who would touch your lift, and thats ok! I brought my truck into TT spoke to Jon, we went through my truck. I knew I needed new rear shocks, alignment, balance and so on. As we went through it I asked about checking a few extra's while they were under. I was quoted a price, came in and paid that price. Work done: Everything listed, plus replaced a lift block, replaced a bolt that was going bad. My truck drive like a champ now! I am happy, looks better underneath too. read more

The service at trick trucks was great. They were able to install a hitch system onto my Kia Soul. I had originally paid uhaul in advance for this service but when I went to get the parts installed (on a set appointment date) they didn't even have the parts. Trick trucks was able to get the parts within a week from their supplier. Same hitch system uhaul would have installed for a bit cheaper too. Mohammed was also able to provide me with a small paint job. This was purely a preventative measure to stop rust from spreading in the future. My car had been struck by a flying wheelbarrow 5 years prior. With the paint job Mohammed did you can hardly tell where it grazed the side of my Soul. I would recommend Trick trucks in El Cajon for any installation needs. read more

The worst Gerage in the world they are cheating people. I made the lift of my jeep in my friend Gerage and my friend keep the steering wheel straight as possible. Then my friend told me take the jeep to the alignment. I took my jeep wrangler I give it to trick truck they told me we will call you when the car is done after 10 minutes they called me and told me they are done!. When I took the car everything is the same they didn't touched it. Also to be sure i went to my friend Gerage he told me they didn't opened any screw because my friend have some points of the screw. No. These people let me drive away with my control arms touching my coil overs, they put a rough country lift on my truck for 6k with "toyo tires" they lasted 5,000 miles before they had 15% tread left. I took it back and my fiancé had to get in the managers face verbally telling them that he was gonna turn them into the auto association if they didn't fix it. I usually use American tire depot so I called them and they said that's not okay and it turns out they also put the wrong tires on my truck with a completely different part number and my truck lost 30% turning radius because they didn't put the right wheels on it either. Zane touched my fiancé and kept calling him buddy right before he called American tire depot and shut the f up and I ended up walking out with 4 brand new tires on my truck for free. They buy their tires from American tire distributors which is in Chula Vista ! So basically mexico 50 cent tires . I wouldn't trust them with a vw bug! STAY AWAY they also tried to blame it on my brand new rear axle installed by frame and axel in El Cajon which is bomb as hell ! Go there . Thank god for my fiancé and his knowledge on literally everything ! read more

Based strictly on online appointments and calling after hours. I figured I'd try to set an appointment online. I picked two dates, two times, and 6 days pass with nothing. And because I'm busy I tried calling after hours and no answering machine or voicemail. It's sad bc they were recommended to me by another vendor. I get that companies may be short staffed or busy, but tell people that at least with an initial response or an easy way to communicate after hours for busy people. I will have to look elsewhere for someone more responsive. read more

I would have to say this place is great. Moe was so helpful I took my 07 Ford F-350 to another diesel mechanic and that mechanic stated I needed a new engine. I was calling places like crazy, and I found this place Moe asked me to explain to him what's going on since my motor should not be bad as it only has a little miles. I took my truck in and they were able to tell me the problem. We went from not needing a new engine that was going to cost us around 8,000 to a repair to 1,500. These guys do exceptional work. I came in to have my 7" lift kit serviced and a alignment on my 2014 GMC Sierra. I also bought a new performance muffler and new black chrome exhaust tips so my truck can sound like a truck. The customer service is impeccable.
