We brought our car in for a routine oil change and rotation. After they got started, Josh, the manager, called to tell us that there was a special canister from the manufacturer for the oil filter required. He not only ordered it but comped us the extra charge a lesser shop no doubt would've stuck us with. Though it took a while for the special part to get to the shop, we're glad Josh didn't simply send us to the dealer, reschedule the appointment or even charge us extra. We'll be back for future service! read more

I wanted to give a special thanks to Joshua (Josh) at this location for exceeding my expectations with the alignment service for my GLK. The location is clean and comfy with ample parking (and a lot to do in the area in case you wait from Panera to Marshalls and a mall across the street). Service was prompt and as soon as I entered the location, it took only moments before I was greeted and assisted. The entire staff was great! However, specifically Josh, the manager, went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer and explained things in detail and efficiently. Great price, great quality and I will only use this location moving forward thanks again Josh! read more

Stopped in to inquire about an oil change. The way the customer before me was spoken to by the manager was rude and horrible. I never leave reviews but I couldn't believe I had just experienced this situation. To the point it made me feel completely uncomfortable and I left and will never give this company my business again. Always remember first impressions are everything. read more

I was in the market for new tires and came in with one flat on a Sunday. I was assisted by Joel and Andrew. Andrew gave me a quote and was patient in answering all of my questions. Joel went a step further, put my spare tire on, and filled my tires with air without me even asking. Even though I ended up going with a different company because of product availability and price, they both still provided great service! Thank you both. read more

I had service here and went back to inquire about oil spillage under my car. When I begin to inquire I was immediately cut off by the manager Josh and was not able to complete any sentence. All I wanted was my car checked and didn't place any blame but the defensiveness and rudeness from a manger is unacceptable. I will be filing a corporate complaint and never recommend this place to anyone. There should be some level of decency and candor with customers. I was not irate nor raise my voice. Have better customer service. If I could rate this place zero stars I would. read more

Thanks! Here's your revised review with the business name included: Worst customer service experience ever at Tire Choice in El Cajon. The employees were rude, and the on-site management was even worse. I scheduled an appointment over the phone for 5 PM--perfect timing, since I left work two hours early just to make it. But when I arrived, Josh, who claimed to be the manager, told me he "didn't have enough time" for me. I explained that I had an appointment, but he clearly didn't care and told me I could just reschedule--with attitude. It wasn't just unprofessional--it was completely disrespectful. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, but I want to make sure others know what kind of service to expect at this location. read more

Very helpful, great service, great staff thank you Josh for the help today. I was surprised how fast I was able to get my car back so I could go back to enjoying my Saturday. read more

Seven Reasons to Service Your Car Here Consistent employees over the years. Both managers have been here at least 10 years and therefore train their men to high standards. Prices are well within reasonableness to not gouge your wallet. Transparency is transparent. Recommendations will be made, without pressure. You will always receive respectable service despite gender, ethnicity, age, or appearance. They learn your car if you are a repeat customer and make sure your car is safe on the road They will explain to you and your whole family to make sure you are comfortable with their service. Appointment time, actually means your appointment time. There are several eateries nearby including Target Big Lots if you have convenient shopping to do. I always go to See's across the street :). I like to know if these tips helped you and Tire Choice matched the standard. read more

Josh the manager was super nice and was able to actually help me. We had issues with our tire and he took care of it no problem. Didn't feel pressured to buy anything he simply just helped. I wish more businesses were ran like Josh runs his. Definitely recommend. read more

Called over the weekend to make an appointment. The guy I spoke with, really polity, nice, great. Show up to my appointment time on Monday at 10am on 9/18 and the guy at the front desk not only said he couldn't find my appointment, but he was a complete snob, rude, complete all around jerk. I wish I got his name, but I didn't. But I'm sure the service center can find out who he is by the time and date and who was working that shift if they really care. Will be looking for a different location for future services. read more

It's definitely overdue that I write this... on all of the times I have needed things done on my tires - from air, repairs, to a new set and recently rotate & balance, I have received the best customer service from Victor and his team! They are quick, efficient and reasonably priced. They definitely get my recommendation for great service! read more

I had a tire that leaked air . I had stopped at multiple Discount Tire stores in a 2 day period, they were all too busy to look at it. So I was online on Sat night looking for a tire store open on Sunday. I scheduled an online appointment for 11:30 Sunday . I ask them to see if the tire could be fixed, and so rotate the tires. At noon they gave me my keys, it was done at no charge. I will definitely be buying my next set of tires from them. read more

This was very bad experience at Tire choice today as I brought my parents car to get new headlight bulbs replaced, as Victor told me get parts bring them back they would be able to do job for $100, then when I get back they raised the price to $300, then at check out the price was $360. For 1 hour and 15 min of labor. The mechanic and Victor didn't seem like they were pleased with working at Tire choice, they were not very pleasant or when I first came in. And as I was leaving. I believe they ripped me off! They were not over worked as there was no cars being worked on, nor was there any customers in waiting area. I'm glad they got me in, but the environment was toxic. I'm looking for new mechanic shop! I will be letting Better Business Bureau know about price gouging! Finding out BBB is not accredited with Tire choice because they RIP people.off! read more

This place is complete trash. You'd have to be a dummy to not be able & find better services than this grabage place with even worse employees. When I said this place is bad I mean every last letter in the word BAD, as if the word was created specifically for this place. Yup it's that bad. . We really need a zero star option. read more

On August 30th, 2023 I had the worst experinece with Tire Choice Manager Victor Najera. I took my car in for a tire repair and requested an aligment since I had previously purchase Alligment for life for my Honda Ridgeline with Good year now called Tire Choice. The manager said you don't get free aligment anymore that was only for one year, I said the tire has insurance then he said not with me, I am going to charge you for it and I will make more money for me, then he proceed and asked if I still wanted the aligment I said no, thank you. He was very rude, I told him I had been a customer from Good Year and Tire choice for the past 30 years and advised him that he was going to lose a very good customer since I have taken all 4 of my vehicles there for repairs all the time. He said I have more customers so he basically did not care. I will not comeback ever again, this guys is rude and don't care for the company only himself and looks how to pull money off of you. Do not recommend this place. read more

ZERO STARS!!! Absolutely the worst customer service! The guy was so rude! Hit a pit hole and damaged my rim and tire. Called Tire Choice in EC and the guy said sure bring it in. I brought the rim and tire down yesterday Monday afternoon. The guy behind the counter didn't even acknowledge me when I stood in front of him for about 5 minutes. He goes and checks out my rim and tire says he has the tire but I'll need a new rim. Then his teammate says "nah you can get that fixed. Today at 3pm I bring the FIXED rim to him, he again waits a few minutes to acknowledge me when I walk in. I told him I was there yesterday and I'm back with the fixed rim. He says "ya I don't have the tire" I said "what""You said you had the tire!" He then replied "I sold it" then acts like he's looking for my tire, like checking the computer for about 8-10 minutes, then looks at me and says " so what are you doing? I walked out! Do Not go to this place!! But the rim guy OFF Bradly was EXCELLENT !! read more

Are you serious !!!! Best service ever :))) 100% 5 star !!! I was driving on Johnson Ave . Indicator light came on my suv & I pulled over and heard a loud sound of air coming on the passenger rear I looked down a huge nail I was a block away and saw tire choice pulled up and saw John Mondragen , a tech with an amazing attitude said that he will take good care of me , then Mark Faracii Manager was very welcoming as he knew I was concerned because it happened to me two days ago Jon & Mark to the rescue , the Tech Jon was getting off of work but went above and beyond to make me happy Good bye Evans tires & hello Tire Choice !!! Guys thank you so so much you have me as a new customer :))) read more

I was surprised to find out that Tire Choice was open on Labor Day. I brought my Ford Explore in with The expectation of not getting it back for three days, but Mark came through and got everything done with the car in two days! Mark, understood that my contract through the car dealer was closed on Labor Day, and insisted that I go ahead and leave my car in one of their bays so that it would be safe until the next day. Then, he completely understood that I had work and wasn't going to be able to have the ability to pick it up right away. He went above and beyond what I ever expected a shop to do for me. He kept me fully informed, and a detailed talk about the issues of my car and what they fixed to make sure it doesn't happen again. My friends and family will be coming here from now on with any car issues. Thank you again Mark for amazing customer service and honesty! read more

A few weeks ago I went in for my brakes. Against my better judgment, and the fact that I wanted to go to a location in my area I drove my car here. To begin, yes I was EXTREMELY over do for my brakes. Like it was pretty bad... I actually have mechanics in my family that I could drive to but, let's be honest... sometimes a drive doesn't seem so appealing. So, I came here, they seemed friendly and legit (so I thought) we went to grab a bite to eat, when I came back they did let me know I really had no brakes and should do them now. My quote? $500, being a female...i already had the feeling they were trying to get the most of me. So I said no thanks, I called somewhere else I got a quote for the same work for about 300+ the guy came back and said 450. I said no thank you I appreciate your time but my mechanic quoted me at away better deal. (I just didn't want to drive over there) he came back... and said "I spoke to my manager, he said we can match that price. Its the end of the month...Right now and be done" cool! Awesome... Thank you! Save me a trip. On my way to drop my child off at a football game I get a call " your cars ready, but can you tell me if your abs light was going on and off?" Absolutely not, the only light ever on my car is the tire pressure... I immediately called my mechanic told him what they said. After 10 min of "I told you so" he explained they obviously did something wrong. I went in to pick up my car... they insisted they did nothing wrong. "We don't touch any part to where the wiring is for that" but how are you going to tell me that you only touch one part of the brakes? And everything you said you'd clean around it. (AND, SENSORS are in and around that area) When the manager came this is what he said (no lie) it was my fault for driving my car like that, yet... the brakes had nothing to do with the abs sensor. And it's like going to the ER,you go in with one problem and come out with another. ( I swear I'm not lying) if I do take it to another mechanic, and they say "yes did break something" I buy the part, bring it back and they would fix it for free!! I BUY WHAT THEY BROKE, AND THEY FIX FOR FREE?!! Or I could bring my car back in the next day when they have their "specialist" there to figure out the problem. The way I can explain the brakes and the whole "works" on them, is this (especially for the ladies) so when you get your nails done... let's say, fix a broken nail. Your nail broke at the tip... we need it fixed. The nail tech. Has to remove everything off that single nail (if not the whole nail) to apply either the tiny piece missing or the whole nail... a nail tech has to actually PHYSICALLY TOUCH your whole hand! She has to grab your hand, bring up your finger..etc. if they are trying to fix your middle finger and happen to crack or cut your pinky finger, imagine them saying "oops, was that like that too? Well we can fix it but you have to pay" definitely not! I may have gone in there looking like I don't know what's going on... but my only actual mistake was not going to someone who does honest and trustworthy work. Just to save 10 15 min of a drive, I ended up paying 100 more just to go and find out what the problem was. I know better, I have better, but my mistake was trying to find a local place. Worse decision, I say this because I have 3 members of my family who are mechanics. So when I say i was dumb for not wanting to take the extra driving time. I really mean... I was dumb for not taking the driving time. Please, be wise as a female... some people seem charming or like they are doing you a favor, trust me... don't fall for it. Do your research. read more

I love this shop. I don't ever feel like they're trying to rip me off and everyone is friendly and attentive. My dad called in to get all 4 of my tires on my car changed, and unfortunately there was some miscommunication between the both of them, but Mark took care of it because he wanted to earn our trust and customer base. He was very polite and respectful when speaking to me and my parents at the shop, and we had a nice conversation while he filled out the paperwork. Service was excellent and fast!
