So my old tire finally cracked and I came home from a long weekend to a leaking tire that my husband assured me couldn't be repaired. Like I said, I'd just come back from a long weekend and didn't have a lot of extra money to throw at new tires so we decided used was the way to go. Thanks to Yelp, I found and called One Stop Tire. I have sort of special tires so I was pleased when she told me they had them available and for half the price of new. I arrived as soon as they opened and was out and on my way to work 30 minutes later. My tires cost $120 each new, but I paid $60 for a practically brand new Pirelli. My husband was proud of me. Tips: * Just pull around to the back and the office is right there. Don't bother parking in the front unless they're really busy and tell you to. *Bring some cash so you can tip the guys putting the tires on. * If you need a tattoo, ask the cashier. This business had a different name, which was Budget Tire. I had a screw in my tire. When I arrived there were two other customers and they both were getting tires. I had to wait a few minutes but it was cool cause I just showed up without an appointment. The guys were friendly enough but focused on getting their work done. Price to fix the flat was on par with other shops. They had some nice rims and I am considering getting a set from them. I'd recommend checking them out for new tires or if you have a leak. read more

I had a small staple in my tire that was causing a slow leak. Every place I called said that they wouldn't patch the small hole and that I would need to buy a whole new tire. After looking around Santee for some mom and pop shops, I came upon One Stop Tire. I called and they answered immediately and told me to come on in. No appointment needed. I came in, they checked the tire, repaired it and put it back on all within about 20 minutes. The customer service was great, price was amazing & I was in and out. So the place looks a little dodgey... well so does Hugh Grant, and he still makes great movies! One Stop Tire is your mom n' pop tire shop of Santee. The service was great, I was in and out in 12 minutes, AND I only paid $35 for a used tire that will last 40,000 to 50,000 miles! If I wanted a new one I could have paid $15 more.... Discount Tires??? Yeah right, those guys are the Ritz-Carlton of tires compared to One Stop. The owners (husband and wife) have a CUTE dog named T-Bone! Really sweet! A regular lap dog who is always happy to see you. For dog lovers and deal catchers One Stop Tire of Santee is the place to be! read more

DON'T WASTE MONEY AT DISCOUNT TIRE / EVAN'S / BIG O TIRES!!! This tire shop does great work for half the cost $$$. My girlfriend bent the rim on her car and needed a repair, their small team fixed the car quick and the price was more than fair. They have new and used options to adjust to your budget. The only shortfall was no tire balancing machine or alignment machine, a necessity for a tire shop. read more

I need to update my review of this place as I went back here last month (Feb' 2013) and had a totally different experience... They have a new owner. He and another worker took my car in. I explained that I was here before and that I wanted to replace one tire which was originally bought there. He told me $40 cash for a used tire. I told him that they used to take credit card. He said no more charge card, not even an ATM card, only cash. While they were working to replace the tire, I went and got cash. Am not sure if I will ever come back to this place again... so, my front tires were getting bald, looked up used tires around my work place and this place seemed most promising. Thank you yelpers for recommending the place, I can't be happier. 35$ for each tire, out the door price was 77$ around. Large selection of tires, definitely a recommend from me. read more

I'm not sure if it's just because I'm a girl, but I had brought a car here and got 20 bucks a tire two years ago and I walk in and ask for two tires just to get my car on a tow truck the cheapest tires possible and he says $80! I can get two brand-new tires at discount tires for $90 the prices are ridiculous the guy would not budge. Lost my business! read more

Came here the other day to get a tire changed. The key broke on the tire and was stuck. The guys worked hard to get it out. Charged $50 for a used tire, good price. It was a little awkward at first because we were standing there without being greeted or any thing. read more

They were fast and they were personable....however... When I called to check the price before arriving, I asked for an out the door price for the specific tire. They quoted me a price. I confirmed again that this price included all costs. They stuck me with an extra $2 fee even after all of my reasonable efforts to get it right ahead of time. Secondly I had a flat tire. The flat happened rapidly. I changed the tire to the spare, and put the flat tire in my car. After they took that tire in for fixing they called me and showed me that the valve had a huge rip in it. While the employee told me that this could happen rapidly, I find this explanation extremely unlikely under the circumstances as there was no incident on a non highway street in the minutes preceding the flat. I did not see, hear, or feel any such rip when I removed the tire and placed it in my car. One issue might be overlooked....two issues like those, and I certainly would not go back nor recommend them to others. They now / also go under the name Budget Tire Co of San Diego. read more

Needed tires for our Toyota. We ordered them online from Tire Rack, and One Stop Tire mounted and balanced them. They did a great job and we saved a lot of money! Just returned for a complete brake job for our well maintained 2003 Camry, and was again completely satisfied with the speedy service and the great price. Well I don't write many of these, actually this is my first, but this time I couldn't resist. I have visited this business three times, first time I got one tire at a reasonable price for a tire with 25%. Second time I waited for 1/2 hour and left because they didn't show up to open on time. The third time I was looking for 4 matching tires with some tread on them, while the guy did his best to find the size i was looking for he kept showing me mismatched tires with little or no tread left. He said that they could get me new tires and I asked what they would cost me, the boss quoted a price that was higher that Discount tires! I asked if he couldn't do better because I could go to Discount and get them cheaper. He said "then go to Discount tire and buy them !!" Not sure if this place needs the business or not but if I ran a business like this I would be out of business. I came on here looking for a tire place because both of my cars needed tires. I ended up going somewhere else to get tires for one car (and I wasn't uphappy with them) but I was thoroughly impressed with this place! I called a couple days before I came in and they informed me that not only did they have plenty of tires in the size I needed, but that they were going to be super inexpensive to install. I was a bit skeptical because these kinds of places tend to not include many other "fees" in their quotes. When I got there, there was no wait. There were 2 guys working and they moved one car off the rack to do mine. When I told them I needed 4 tires, they found my size and started working on it. They soon informed me that one of my tires was perfectly fine and didn't need to be replaced. Who does that these days? They proceeded to replace the other 3 tires very quickly and they were very concerned with making sure they didn't get my car dirty! I was in and out within a half hour, they were super friendly, amazingly honest and I walked out of there paying less than I thought I would. There were no additional hidden fees (they didn't mention the $8 disposal fee when I called, but it wasn't an additional amount I was upset about by any means) and the price was amazing. I have told all my friends about this place... and now I am telling all of you! I am sure they will treat you right too! read more

After calling around to get quotes on 4 new tires I finally found them here on Yelp. The reviews could not be more accurate. They were more then helpful when I called for the quote, which was $150 to $200 less then everywhere eles I called. They were able to get me in the following day during my lunch hour & I was only there less then 45 mins. They were even willing to put on the brakes I had in my trunk for me, again for far less, but I did not have the time. I will definitely return to One Stop Tire for future services & have already begun to refer friends and co-workers to them. They Are Awesome!! read more
