I got a flat tire, and Tire King was close by. Not to mention, Tire "King". So I thought, hey, they're the King of tires. They can help me. They didn't have the correct tire for my GTR R35, but they did so much to help me get back on the road. Instead of just turning me away, they called around to other tire shops in the area looking for any shop that carry what we were looking for. One shop claimed they have the tire in stock, so Donny (shop owner) took me and my rim to the other shop. They didn't actually had the tire in stock, and someone was on the way to go pick up the tire. We waited around for almost two hours. Donny refused to charge me for his time. When we got back to Donny's shop, he threw on my tire and said, "well, you've already paid for your tire. I can't charge you for anything." Dude!! What a great guy and attitude. Carry in brake rotors to have turned. bring home and find they have almost .010 to run out on the vehicle. It's common to have brake lathes that are out of spec or no attention to detail. Next time go to a place that turns the rotor on the vehicle. read more

Saving 20 - 30 bucks sure isn't a reason for a me to head all the way out to East County. $200 sure is though! Request a Quote is an amazing feature that helped me find by far the best price that never would have been on my radar otherwise. Sent out my situation to about 10 shops and instantly and Tire King came back with what seemed like a too-good-to-be-true offer. I was skeptical, but a few hours later other offers started pouring in and Don was literally about $200 under the next lowest shop. Next thing I knew I was on the 8 headed for my fist ever visit to Lakeside. Tire King was a totally awesome find! By far the best price, really quick response time, and a totally nice guy (Don) running the shop. Don't be scared away by the minimal content on their page. Gave them a call in the morning to ask about getting my new tires (that I purchased elsewhere) mounted and was given a quote and told that they'd be available in the afternoon after I got off work. I showed up just before 4pm and they were busy (apparently after 3pm is when they're the busiest so try to come in sooner if you can) but told me they'd give me a call to come back when they were ready for me which was appreciated. I live near by so I just went and chilled at home for a bit. Got a call about 30min later and came back. New tires were mounted in no time. Great service and competitive pricing. Was told they could've got me the tires I brought in (Falken Wildpeak AT3) for cheaper than what I paid so now I know better for next time. Give them a call before buying tires and see what kind of deal they can get you. They're straight shooters and won't try to BS or up sell you. read more

He heard my truck and trailer making an awful sound and came across the street to find out what's up and then helped me. 1 hour . With help from his employee back at the shop, I was soon on my way. Fixed. BTW, while he went and got the hub part needed, I prayed so hard that I avoided nearly a serious accident/and or be stranded off the side of the road. So GRATEFUL. Awesome experience with Tire King. I blew a tire over the holiday weekend and happened to be on the way to costco at the time. They couldn't fix it as they didn't have the size in stock. I waited until Tire King opened this morning and gave them a ring. They had a used one in my size at their other location, had it brought over within the hour.
