Called around for a leveling kit for my 2024 Silverado for a couple days. Went with the Bilstein shocks. They put my old shocks in my truck for future swap before I return my lease. Truck looks badass now! I'm bad with names but the dudes there are top-notch. They matched the prices of their competitors, super knowledgeable, have a couch & all the streaming services if you choose to wait, and even suggested the possible before & after photo/video which I would've regretted not having. In an era of scammers and bad actors, these guys did me right. Glad I didn't go down the "National City cheap shop rabbit hole" and opted to spend my money here. Drove home with confidence. I had these installed on 5/20/20. I do not offroad since this is my daily driver. When I originally had them installed the top nut holding my shock on came off and my shock was flopping around my coil( thats the super stripped one) the other fell off was well, causing it to be stripped as well. I took my truck back to the shop and one of the guys in the shop came walking out with a Modelo beer in his hand and said he would work on it. I was stupid enough to allow him to work on my truck. When I asked him what he did, he said he just put another nut on it. He said he rethreded the shock and it was fine. Well see above, this is what a trained tech did at an overpriced establishment. It only took me taking my truck to this place once to figure ill never go back to such a shitty business. How often does one read a review of a vehicle suspension product site? I was in Coronado at the Silver Strand SB campground and discovered 2 torn out shackle plates on my 5th wheel rear axle. Thinking I could replace them myself, I searched the internet for a supplier and found SoCal Suspension. I made the trek and purchased a pair of plates, only to find that I did not have the heavy duty tools necessary to replace them. I cobbled together a temp fix to get my rig home and ended taking the rig to a mechanic whoo replaced ALL of my worn out hangers and brackets. Kudos to SoCal as they had the parts available that no one else had. read more

Came to find this shop via a family members referral and ended up getting suspension work done on my 4Runner. The initial customer service (pre suspension work being done) was great. All my questions were answered and was extremely happy with the end result. However, given this was the first I'd put suspension on my vehicle and given my newness to off-roading I didn't realize that the install later down the road was extremely subpar. One of my rear shocks was installed with the reservoir hose pointed down towards the wheel causing rubbing against the tire. After contacting the shop I was told over the phone if they tried to adjust the hose it could damage the shock, etc. and basically not to worry about the tire rubbing given hose thickness. I thought for the money spent on suspension / their install this was a pretty poor response. Being located in Corona I went to a local suspension shop who informed me a bolt just needed to be loosened to adjust the hose placement. Additionally, I learned they also didn't bend the reservoir bracket correctly causing it to press up against the wheel well. All in all, I thought these guys did quality work but didn't get that experience and ended up having to pay another shop to complete a job they should have done from the beginning. read more

In July, I brought my 2013 Mazdaspeed 3 to see if the team could resolve my premature tire wear and alignment issues after I had installed a Bilstein B8 shock/strut kit. Chris and Wayne had the techs look at the suspension set up and gave me a couple of recommendations on how to bring the alignment back into spec and an estimate on the cost without any pressure to choose one option over another. After deciding on installing a set of SPC UCAs in the rear suspension, the techs went to work after I brought the parts in. They were able to install the UCAs and perform a 4-wheel alignment that brought the suspension back into spec. The car now rides smoothly, tracks straight, and wears evenly on all four tires. I chose SoCal Suspension based on the consistently positive Yelp reviews and because they employ our military Veteran's. I could not be more pleased with the results, so I brought in my suspension-challenged 06 Sequoia in October. The Sequoia had over 175,000 miles on it, with many of the original suspension components (UCA, LCA, UBJ, OTRE) still in place. After another thorough assessment and a discussion with Chris to narrow down what I planned on doing with the, car several options were presented, all of which involved replacing most of the components in the front suspension. The biggest decision involved sorting out which set of shocks/struts would work best to level out the Toyota rake. We settled on a Bilstein 6112 kit for the front and 5100 for the rear, OEM UCA/LCA, Moog UBJ, and AC Delco OTRE since I had already replaced the LBJs, end links, and steering rack bushings in the previous 6 months. I also asked the techs to look at the front wheel bearings while everything was apart, which were assessed to still be in good condition. The end result when I got the Sequoia back after a couple of days was amazing. It sits level, glides over bumps, doesn't nose dive when braking, and tracks smooth and straight. It's awesome! Bottom line - if you need suspension work done, this is the place to go. I appreciated the team listening to what I wanted, presented some solutions, and did the work to make it happen. No fuss, no drama - just doing the work with pride and attention to detail. read more

Even with the are shortages of parts, they worked with their vendors to order and get parts in a timely manner. I am not knowledgeable in lift kits and all it requires. Got my lift finally done today. I waited and saved for over a year to get this lift on my 2018 Tacoma. I contacted SOCAL suspension back in early September of 2019. I spoke with Nick when I first started doing my research and he was beyond accommodating. This dude is awesome. It's not hard to be friendly and patient towards your customers. The other place I tried to go to was the opposite. Nick made sure I was informed in every step. My Tacoma had a taco lean and they did their best to fix my issue.
