Very professional shop and friendly service. Had to have some major work done on my car that overheated ‍. Sam did a full diagnostic on my vehicle letting me know all that was needing attention and what was crucial and what wasn't. This helped because what was crucial was already going to be a lot. I consulted a friend who is a mechanic but was too far for me to take it to.. and he said the pricing was fair and accurate for the needed repairs. I was looking forward to writing this review simply on their welcoming and genuine customer service, but was then surprised by their experience and knowledge. I came in for a free brake inspection and they offered me a ride home while I waited along with a ride back to the shop. I received a text soon after with detailed information on my brakes. I called in and Sam explained everything in full detail, educated me on all the different parts and offered multiple suggestions without any pressure. I took my van to these guys because they had really good reviews. However when they started quoting me prices I got a bit of sticker shock. I am so happy to have found Sunshine auto repair. Sam was such a huge help every step of the way. I needed work done on a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica I recently bought. Shortly after buying it I found out the transmission needed replaced. Sam was able to find a used transmission and save me a huge chunk of change ( which I appreciate very much seeing as the chrysler could have quoted me only for the new transmission and I would have said okay but sam truly cares and genuinely wants to help. In addition to the transmission we also replaced the tires, belts, spark plugs, hoses, and fluids. This was all done very quickly and with frequent status updates from Sam Every step of the way. I have had two recent experiences with Sunshine Auto and they both were pleasant and impressive. First, I brought a used car from a dealership that we were looking at (daughter's first car) for a pre-purchase inspection. Sam was incredibly knowledgeable and personable and the pre-purchase inspection was very thorough and detailed. In fact, Sunshine Auto did such a good job in documenting the repairs needed in the pre-purchase inspection (and provided corresponding pictures in the report) that we were able to use the inspection as leverage to get the dealership to make some of the repairs and even knock some money off the asking price. After purchasing the vehicle, I dropped off my daughter's car with Sam at Sunshine Auto so that they could complete all of the additional repairs. Finding an honest and competent mechanic is daunting, but I left feeling 100% confident that my daughter's car was safe and reliable.
