    Mushroom Burger
    Brian L.

There must have been a struggle with the dinner service because I had high praise going into this place but was met with fairly average food. The mac and cheese balls were lightly fried and tasted really clean, but if you're someone who prefers stronger seasoning, they may taste a bit bland in my opinion. The mushroom burger and sweet potato fries were pretty good. I just wish the burger itself had been seasoned a bit more, but that's purely personal preference. We were seated fairly quickly, but it took a while for our food to come out. Be wary of dinner-time waits.

Incredibly fresh restaurant located in Cary! Tribeca Tavern boasts about their pasture to plate (farm to table) mission and it is apparent in their food. My husband and I came here late Saturday afternoon and were seated immediately. We ordered zucchini chips for an appetizer to share. For my meal, I ordered the Better Than Ted burger. It came with a side and I ordered a Caesar salad for $1 extra. My husband ordered The Blue Devil burger with fries. They accidentally mixed up our sides so my plate is shown with fries. This wasn't a big deal because I was able to snack on a few fries and my salad. The zucchini chips were CRISP and I loved that Parmesan cheese was sprinkled on top. My Better Than Ted burger was excellent. It was a NC bison patty, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, roasted red peppers, and fried avocado. I've never had fried avocado before on a burger and now it feels like a must add topping. The fries tasted absolutely fresh. Service was great and attentive. A lot of shops/restaurants were in this area so parking was plentiful. If you're looking for a good burger, check out Tribeca Tavern!

I ordered The Wolfpack Burger and it was perfectly juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked just right. The house cut chips with ranch on the side were the perfect complement and really completed the meal. On top of that, the service was friendly and attentive. We sat outside, and the weather was perfect, which made the experience even better.

Had a date night out and decided to give Tribeca tavern a try! The place is huge. Indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was friendly upon entering. We made a reservation online. So we got seated right away. Our server was great! Super friendly. Rvs on the walls playing college hoops was a plus since it's march madness time. We got the Korean meatballs for a appetizer. It was delicious. The sauce on it was excellent. So good we ate it so fast forgot to take a photo! lol For our mains we got the ribeye. Double garlic mashed potatoes and a side of blackened shrimp. So freaking good. They have a local ranch who supplies their beef. The quality was definitely there and worth it. For desserts we tried the bread pudding and the crème brûlée. Both awesome choices. We will definitely be back.

Came on a busy evening but sat at the bar w no issue. I had a California salad w steak added and a couple whiskeys (good selection). Tasty food, nice vibe/atmosphere / ambience, easy place to eat and friendly bartenders.

Met my friend here for lunch because it was close to H-Mart and we wanted to go shopping for a recipe we saw online from Cardi B. Lol the only reason they received a 4 instead of 3 is because of Lizzy, our server! She was so attentive l, friendly and just went above and beyond. We arrived at 2:50 for our 3:00 reservation. We stood there at least 10 minutes before anyone came to seat/greet us. I didn't mind that too much, I know restaurants can be busy, and then I noticed why. While we were eating the hostess was cleaning tables beside us. We started with the zucchini chips, the top of them were good, nice and crispy and the shaved Parmesan on top was delicious. The ranch that is house made served with it is the bomb! Once you got to the bottom there were soggy and sitting in grease. Maybe add some lettuce at the bottom to soak it up? I don't know but we left those. I had checked the menu out before we went so I had my mouth ready for the steak with chimichurri and truffle fries. I didn't see it on the menu, so I asked. Lizzy stated they had just changed the menu. No more truffle fries or chimichurri steak. I opted for the NY strip that came with molasses that I got on the side, and I'm glad I did! and substituted the regular fries for mashed potatoes. I asked for my steak medium, when it arrived it was well done! They cut the steak, so I feel like they knew it wasn't right. I'm not a well done steak person! I mentioned it to Lizzy, who agreed and had them make me a new one. My friend ordered the curry pumpkin salmon with quinoa and kale. She said it was delicious, I didn't believe her, but I tried it and it was good. Lizzy then brought us a complimentary dessert of bread pudding and ice cream. I'm not a fan of bread pudding, but I did eat the ice cream! It's a large restaurant with a couple of tvs at the bar and it was very quiet. They stated they have outside seating but it must've been on the other side of the restaurant, because I didn't see it.

Restaurant and service were really good. My husband ordered the tarheel burger and a salad. Salad was good burger was just okay for him. Flavor was lacking little bit. I had the Chicken sandwich with a sid on f mac and cheese. I thought both were delicious! The sandwich was topped with avocado and bacon, lettuce, and tomato and a Sriracha honey sauce. I will be coming back to this restaurant again.

Stopped here for a quick bite with friends and we tried a few apps. Our service was great and we were checked on often as well as our drinks refilled promptly. We tried the Korean barbecue meatballs. These had terrific flavor and they were my favorite app. Also - we tried the spinach dip which had a kick (hint of spice) along with being creamy, these came with pita chips. I would have preferred those to be crispy. We also had the riblits that were decent. All in all his was an okay stop tonight. I didn't really see anything on the menu that wowed me for dinner but the appetizers were adequate for a quick bite.

    Chipotle Burger

Arrived on a Sunday at lunch time. It wasn't busy and we were seated promptly. We ordered burgers and they arrived promptly as well. However that's where it ended. The burgers came out and looked great but first bite told me that it had not been seasoned. That pretty much ruined it for me. There was no salt or pepper on the table so I couldn't season it myself either. The chipotle burger was nothing to write home about. My burger was ordered medium well and half of it came over cooked. The burger also was cold. Made me think it was maybe put on the grill to warm up or something and they did a bad job of it. For something that sounded like it was going to deliver flavor, it was very bland. The best part was the fried jalapeños. 40 is a lot to spend for 4 pieces of good fried jalapeño on top of a burger. My partners burger was also very bland and he had to doctor it up to enjoy it. The food looked far better than it tasted. We waited longer for the check than we did our meal and while waiting overhear a waitress asking the couple just seated if they had been there before. Then we heard her telling them a little bit about the restaurant, where the beef was sourced, etc. we were asked the same question but we're only told that she hoped we enjoyed the meal and we were in for a treat. I was so unimpressed with the server after I overheard the other server doing a much better job. As for prices, I don't mind spending money on good food, but I hate spending good money on food that supposed to be good and doesn't deliver. Probably will not go back. Maybe this was a one off experience, but I won't bother going back for a chance of another not so great meal.

Service was excellent and speed of service was great. I'm giving 5 stars because our server was fantastic. Some feedback on the two entrees we ordered. 1. Too much butter on the vegetables, my food was swimming in butter. 2. The chicken salad, too much mayonnaise, made the salad texture wet and mooshy. If you order the steamed vegetables make sure to order light or no butter. Overall good experience.

We started with the cinnamon bun, which was housemade brioche with a vanilla sugar glaze, and honestly it could have been the whole meal. It was that good. We ordered around the table, egg scramble bowl, huevos rancheros, chicken burrito. All of it was solid. The huevos rancheros especially. Salsa roja, chorizo, queso fresco, avocado. Fresh-squeezed OJ and cava in the mimosas didn't hurt either. The food was great. Tori made it memorable. Our server, Victoria (prefers Tori) was just one of those people. She knew when to come by and when to leave us alone, which sounds simple but most people can't do it. Not performative warmth, just actual warmth. She was on top of everything without making us feel managed. We talked about her afterwards. Tori made the occasion. Thank you Tazza Kitchen Stone Creek Village at 600 Ledgestone Way, Cary NC!

And while we were waiting for 5 minutes for our table we were given a slice of pizza to taste, which was an amazing gesture and the pizza was so good, think crust, cheesy but light. We ordered beer and a mocktail for drinks and I loved my mocktail, it was refreshing. For appetisers we ordered their cast iron goat cheese that came with their buttery sour dough bread chunks, the dip was a little too sour for my taste but it was compensated by the flavour full goat cheese. We also ordered their kale and chillies salad for the table and loved it. Highly recommended. For our main course we ordered their Harrisa bowl with crab cake and the Brick oven salmon. The crab cake was on of the best I have ever had. Next time I am definitely ordering their full crab cake order with fries. Every item in the bowl was complementing each other perfectly. The lightly sauted vegetable with a dash of honey tasted great with the tangy white taziki and cucumber sauce and the pearl couscous. I am definitely trying the other bowls next time I am there. The salmon was perfectly cooked and tender. The fried rice, sauted vegetables and the whipped goat cheese tasted so good together. For dessert we ordered their flourless chocolate cake and it was a little dry but very guey and chewy, loved the taste though! Our server was extremely sweet and so considerate of our choices and gave us substitutes and also packed some extra bread togo. So happy and content with food service and the overall ambiance of this restaurant. It gives a fancy vibe but is also very reasonable. Definitely going there again soon!!

They blocked off part of the parking lot, had live music going, and the whole place had that fun, lively energy you want on a holiday like this. Because of the crowd, the menu was trimmed down to the more popular items, but it still had plenty of good options. I ended up getting their Irish eggrolls, they're hand‑rolled and stuffed with house‑cured corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese, then sliced and served with their Thousand Island dressing. Basically, it's all the flavors of a Reuben wrapped up in a crispy shell, simple, rich, and exactly the kind of thing that works well at an event like this because its quick and its finger food you can eat while watching the band,. Overall, the atmosphere was great, parking is such a hassle though during these events on the weekend because H-Mart nearby is already so packed. I requested one with dressing on the side...server brought maybe I had two bites and dinner arrived! Salad can wait...prime rib cannot, even though I start with tasting potato. Prime rib was requested mid rare and it delivered. Potato was fine. I did not see the au jus nor horseradish sauce on the side. I did ask server while I was ready to pack it up and he said there was some confusion if there was/was not no gluten so not provided. Noteworthy as the salad a manager stopped by about the dressing and mentioned one type of salad dressing is now gf and one vegan. Good to have options. Disappointed to learn the fries are coated with flour then fried as an option with burger skip the bun...what about baked chips or air fry for those with food sensitivities as an alternative? Just a thought for management to consider please. I saved room for dessert and the mousse did not disappoint and was compted .... thank you! Fantastic! As I looked around there was a steady crowd entering along with regular patrons. Overall 4.5 stars for this visit. On a side note, this is a family friendly restauran/pub. Some servers look disheveled between sloppy hair and untidy uniform. For staff with long hair should be pulled back tight and away from food will prevent hair on the food! Uniform is simple black top and pants....should be clean and neat. A few servers looked like they rolled out of bed...if they are feeling ill, please stay home. Servers should make diners and patrons have a positive and pleasant experience and my server was definitely on point with emphasis on customer service and satisfaction....keep it up! Lastly, females please wear a bra or sports bra or a proper garment under uniform as it is family friendly restaurant, thank you!

After opening the Yelp app, looking at reviews and pictures, we decided to give Scratch Kitchen & Taproom and go. NARRATIVE: Due to construction in the parking lot behind Scratch Kitchen (Temple Street), we ended up entering the restaurant from the N. Salem Street. And before going in, I noticed the signage above the building says; Tobacco & Mule Exchange. I'm not sure of the buildings history but the buildings interior has a story. Entering from the Salem Street side, you'll pass several shops and a unique bar / barber shop and Scratch Kitchen is located at the end of the hallway on the left. When we arrived at the podium, just outside the restaurant, we were promptly greeted and seated and within the minute, our server and his "shadow" server greeted us and introduced themselves. And after going over the menu and special meals for the day, our drink orders were taken. We ordered the Spicy Tuna Sushi Round as our appetizer; "Spicy ahi tuna with avocado, cucumber and wake over a seared sushi rice patty with edamame and fried green tomato. Topped with wasabi-miso crema and mirin-soy glaze." It was presented and tasted just as good as it sounds. For the main dish, I had to get the Shrimp & Grits; "Cheddar stone ground grits with seared shrimp and pork belly, peppers, onions and a creamy gochugaru sauce. Topped with green onions." And as you can see by not only my photos but others on Yelp, it was an amazing choice and amazing meal. I don't recall what my daughter had as her main but she said it was really good. SCENE: Scratch Kitchen & Taproom is located in the downtown area of Apex. Parking, especially when city workers are doing construction in the rear lot (Temple Street) can be a challenge. I also noted a man, who had too much to drink did order and get a ride from either an Uber or Lyft which is great if you don't want to drive or worry about parking. RECOMMENDATION(S): Scratch Kitchen is quant with that small town feel. Service from the staff was top notch and genuine and could be felt during our interacts with them. The food and its presentation were exemplary so yes, I'll highly recommend a visit. I know I'll be back.

We grabbed a table out on the patio, which honestly ended up being one of the highlights of the night. Every so often, a freight train would roll by in the distance, giving the whole evening this oddly charming small-town-industrial backdrop that somehow worked perfectly with a cold local beer in hand. Speaking of beer -- I started with the SOUTHERN BASIL SAISON from Fullsteam, and wow. Saison lovers, do not skip this one. Crisp, refreshing, slightly peppery, with just enough basil on the finish to make it feel unique without overpowering the style. Then came the appetizers, and this is where things escalated quickly. First up: the Pork Belly Bites. Crispy pork belly tossed with Brussels sprouts in a Thai chili-hoisin glaze, topped with scallion slaw and sesame seeds. This dish was absolutely unreal. Sweet, savory, crispy, sticky, spicy -- every bite hit. Honestly, the ratio of pork belly to everything else was wildly generous, and the bowl disappeared embarrassingly fast at our table. Mandatory order. Then the Scratch Fries arrived, and suddenly we understood why people probably split meals here. Hand-cut fries loaded with shaved ribeye, Worcestershire cheese sauce, spicy bib sauce, candied bacon, ranch, and scallions... basically chaos in the best possible way. The portion was massive, decadent, and fully committed to excess. I genuinely don't know how anyone transitions from these appetizers to an actual entrée without needing a nap afterward. Scratch Kitchen & Taproom somehow manages to feel like a neighborhood hangout for beer nerds and a destination for seriously good comfort food.
