    Fried pickle chips

This is a really solid lunch spot in the RTP area. I came for the cheese steak and was not disappointed. It was spicy and had a nicely toasted bun. The fried pickle chips were also delicious and our server was very nice.

    Bbq chicken Philly and fries

I arrived at 6:44pm on a Friday evening for a last minute date. We sat at the bar. We received menus and placed drink order after a 2 minute wait. The waitress didn't introduce herself, which is a personal pet peeve of mine. At 6:50pm, we ordered mozzarella sticks as an app. At 7:02pm, the waitress finally returned, which I felt was too long as we knew what we wanted shortly after placing the order for the appetizer. I got the bbq chicken Philly with fries. I also ordered a sweet tea. My date got the classic cheese burger with an extra patty. I received my sweet tea fairly quickly. Sitting at the bar provided a front row view of the restaurant dynamics and interactions between the staff. There were only 2 waitresses. It wasn't super busy when we arrived but it got busy. They needed help. I did see one young male who was bussing tables. I noticed 3 people in the kitchen. I noticed orders were pouring in. I witnessed food that was ready sit for an extended period of time before they were given to the table. This was the case for our mozzarella sticks, unfortunately. We received it at 7:05pm. Thankfully they were still warm, at least (not hot as it would've been). To me, the mozzarella sticks weren't worth $13. Around 7:11pm, I heard a cook (maybe Jay) ask the waitress if she was telling people there would be a wait. Her response (or lack thereof) indicated that she had not. Then the cook told her that she should start letting people. That cook was witnessed to take on a leadership role to get things going and moving. He had the busser help the waitresses deliver the food because food was sitting for a while. The busser looked confused. The cook who seemed to take on a leadership role came out to provide additional guidance. I believe I heard that his name was Jay. While I was disappointed to not see the owner or someone in management present to help, it was good to see him step up. I ran out of my sweet tea shortly after I got it. Waitress never came back to refill. Thankfully the other waitress checked in on us and provided my refill. Our food arrived at 7:37pm, which was 35 minutes after placing the order. My fries were barely warm and a little salty. My bbq chicken Philly was hot, fresh, and delicious! Wow! My date's sweet potato fries were pipping hot and they were delicious! It comes with a cinnamon type sauce that was tasty too. My date has been here several times before and they always get the sweet potato fries. It is a $2 up-charge but I recommend getting it!! While eating, I could overhear the main cook (Jay) tell another cook "I don't have any gloves on" so he couldn't do a certain task. I liked hearing that because they showed a dedication to food safety. Per receipt, our waitress was Riya. While she was friendly, attentiveness lacked and she often appeared overwhelmed. The meal total was $60. On the receipt, I also noticed that it says a black bean sandwich vs bbq chicken Philly which makes me wonder if I ate the wrong thing. I honestly have no idea. I looked at pictures and couldn't tell how it was supposed to look. The "chicken" on my sub wasn't bite sized grilled chicken and I didn't see that in other pictures. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed it. It was $9 to make a single burger a double, which is outrageous, in my opinion. They also charged a fee for using a card for payment vs cash. ---- Food Quality: 3.5/5 Presentation: 4/5 Service: 2.5/5 Ambiance & Cleanliness: 4/5 Value for Money: 2/5 Overall Experience: 3/5 =19/30 5 star: 29-30 4 star: 24-28 3 star: 19-23 2 star: 14-18 1 star: 6-13

Bottom line: Good lunch at Two Guys Grille. Enjoyed the Chicken Lindsey platter (I did ask for Swiss cheese substitute instead of cheddar jack cheese on it) with the broccoli and salad sides included. Very positive and helpful server. More along 4.5 stars this visit. The Deets: I hit Two Guys Grille (TGG) for some weekend lunch eats and realized that I've not ever done a Yelp review here. They've been around for many, many years, in fact looking here I see I left a Yelp Tip in 2010 (!!) stating "the cheesesteak was great!" I'm glad I saw that now that I know that Yelp Tips will be phased out soon on here. Indeed, they are known for their cheesesteak offerings at TGG. However I was looking for non-sandwich option for lunch and they have plenty of those, as their menu is pretty extensive including apps/quick bites, salads, sandwiches, burgers, low carb/vegetarian choices, platters as well as the mentioned cheesesteaks. Walking in the entrance from McCrimmons Corners shopping center, they have a nice sizable seating area and bar as well as outdoor seating available also, definitely a grille type of feel/setting. There are a couple of TVs about but I would not put them in a sport bar type of category per se. I sat down at one of the high top tables near the bar. I was greeted very warmly by my server and she grabbed my drink order when dropping off a menu. I chose to go with the Chicken Lindsey platter choice for lunch which consists of grilled chicken breast topped with sautéed mushrooms, Applewood bacon, honey mustard glaze and melted cheddar jack cheese (I opted to substitute Swiss cheese instead here). The platter is served with broccoli and side salad. I was one of 2-3 tables at that time but felt that the order was taking a bit...I found that there was clarification needed on my request for Swiss cheese instead of cheddar jack. I'm glad and grateful they questioned and confirmed my cheese choice, though, and my order came out as ordered. The grilled chicken was good, indeed adequate but not overgenerous portion and not dry at all, in fact pretty juicy with nice flavor from all the items topping the chicken breast and the honey mustard glaze. I enjoyed the broccoli as well with large portion given, not overcooked (as can be the case a lot of places but not here) with just a bit of crunch left to it. The salad portion was fairly generous for a side salad as well. They had offerings of carrot cake, chocolate cake, and cheesecake for dessert but alas, I chose no dessert this time. Throughout my visit, my server kept my drink filled and was very pleasant and positive. I had a good lunch stop at TGG and glad I stopped by this Morrisville standby. I wish Yelp had half stars, I'd go with 4.5 stars for this visit.

    Bully Burger w/ Skinny Fries

We decided to try Two Guys Grille on a Saturday afternoon before going to the movies. When we arrived there were about 2 other parties there. You can seat yourself and your server comes to you. There's plenty of seating, tables, booths and high-tops. Our server, Riya was great. I ordered the Bully Burger, it has bacon, cheddar and Bbq sauce, and the skinny fries, aka shoestring fries. My daughter ordered the Reuben and skinny fries as well. The food came out pretty quickly. We both throughly enjoyed our meal. Everything was hot, fresh and full of flavor.

Under the sea wrap with steak fries

Maturing is realizing that Two Guys Grille is everything you'd want in a local business. This restaurant has been around for as long as I can imagine and for some reason in years past, I had no desire to visit. In the past couple of months, I've been here many times and each time has been pleasant. While burgers seem to be Two Guys Grille's specialty, they seem to a good job with a lot of options. My favorite burger is the Bully Burger. It's a simple, yet messy burger that comes with BBQ sauce, bacon and cheese. The meat itself is juicy and flavorful and the flavor is outstanding. The burger itself is kind of a heart attack waiting to happen, but that's what makes it so good. They really do a great job with their burgers, they're always cooked perfectly and packed with juice and flavor. The menu is vast and it's easy to get caught up in the sheer amount of options on the menu. Instead of their basic items like their chicken tenders and shrimp platter (these items you could get somewhere else, cheaper and better), you are definitely better off trying their Under the Sea Wrap or Po Boy. The Under the Sea wrap is a recent discovery of mine, it has real crab meat in the crab cake that's in this wrap. Don't forget to order their steak fries or sweet potato fries! The surcharge on the sweet potato fries are so worth it, it comes with a honey butter that's delectable. My favorite thing about Two Guys Grille is the honesty of their service. There was an afternoon when we came in and there was a whole youth baseball team and their parents eating. When we decided to stay, my friend and I waited a very, very long time for our food. I've been in situations where I've waited a long time and just carried on. However, the service throughout was solid and they even took off a portion of the bill for our troubles. Take notes everyone else! This is how it should be done.

Hot dog plate (sauerkraut and brown mustard on the left and bacon and cheese on the right)
    John C.

I visited Two Guys Grille at an odd time, call it really late lunch or really late dinner. Either way, I was there at a time when staffs are normally catching their breath after and before the next service. The interior has booths around the outside, tables in the middle, a bar, and a small patio. I was able to sit wherever and decided on a high table near the door. The service quickly came by, got my beverage, and came right back for my food order. I got the hot dog platter with the garlic parmesan broccoli for my side. One hot dog was sauerkraut and brown mustard. The toasted bun had a really healthy amount of sauerkraut and just the right amount of mustard. It was really good. The second hot dog was cheese and bacon and let me tell you it was LOADED with cheese. The melted cheese was oozing and sliding off the bun and was topped with whole strips of crispy bacon. The garlic parmesan broccoli side was just ok. I wanted more garlic and more salt. Most of the melted parm had slid off of the broccoli itself. My server was fantastic and took great care of me. Plenty of other items on this menu were intriguing and I look forward to returning and trying different things. Hi

    Downtown Burger.

Just moved to town and I'm happy to say I found my go to burger joint. Many choices and I settled for the Downtown Burger, juicy and cooked to medium perfection. Can't wait to dive into the menu and explore the other choices and cheesesteaks.

I asked the cashier at the front about it and she told me that there are lids under the drink station. I guess she was too busy to get them for me and tried to make me do it? They also ran out of broccoli and had to drop some more but never told us how long it was going to take. So I was waiting for 5-10 minutes for my girlfriend's food to be ready as my food got cold. Wouldn't have been as bad but they never told us how long the wait would be and we were both getting hungry. There were also a good amount of flies in the restaurant. We tried to sit outside but there were a lot of flies there too. Instead we walked to the brewery where the flies seemed to leave us alone. My food was seasoned well enough and had a good flavor but it didn't really taste that fresh. Not sure if it was from the wait but I'm sure it didn't help. It seemed like the ingredients may have been sitting out a while. I don't think I'll be back which is unfortunate because I was excited to find a healthier fast food restaurant.

We started with the cinnamon bun, which was housemade brioche with a vanilla sugar glaze, and honestly it could have been the whole meal. It was that good. We ordered around the table, egg scramble bowl, huevos rancheros, chicken burrito. All of it was solid. The huevos rancheros especially. Salsa roja, chorizo, queso fresco, avocado. Fresh-squeezed OJ and cava in the mimosas didn't hurt either. The food was great. Tori made it memorable. Our server, Victoria (prefers Tori) was just one of those people. She knew when to come by and when to leave us alone, which sounds simple but most people can't do it. Not performative warmth, just actual warmth. She was on top of everything without making us feel managed. We talked about her afterwards. Tori made the occasion. Thank you Tazza Kitchen Stone Creek Village at 600 Ledgestone Way, Cary NC!

We ordered beer and a mocktail for drinks and I loved my mocktail, it was refreshing. For appetisers we ordered their cast iron goat cheese that came with their buttery sour dough bread chunks, the dip was a little too sour for my taste but it was compensated by the flavour full goat cheese. We also ordered their kale and chillies salad for the table and loved it. Highly recommended. For our main course we ordered their Harrisa bowl with crab cake and the Brick oven salmon. The crab cake was on of the best I have ever had. Next time I am definitely ordering their full crab cake order with fries. Every item in the bowl was complementing each other perfectly. The lightly sauted vegetable with a dash of honey tasted great with the tangy white taziki and cucumber sauce and the pearl couscous. I am definitely trying the other bowls next time I am there. The salmon was perfectly cooked and tender. The fried rice, sauted vegetables and the whipped goat cheese tasted so good together. For dessert we ordered their flourless chocolate cake and it was a little dry but very guey and chewy, loved the taste though! Our server was extremely sweet and so considerate of our choices and gave us substitutes and also packed some extra bread togo. So happy and content with food service and the overall ambiance of this restaurant. It gives a fancy vibe but is also very reasonable. Definitely going there again soon!!

I will say my wife had a slightly more negative opinion of the omelette ("meh!") and latte ("watery!"), so experiences may differ a bit.
