Updating because while the quality is still excellent, I'm disappointed by the price increases. Garments that were $7 a year ago are now $9. You might say, oh, that's only $2. But that's a 29% price increase in one year! My salary certainly hasn't increased 29%. It adds up garment by garment when everything goes up a few dollars. I'm going to look around the neighborhood and see if I can find a place that's cheaper and as good; if not, maybe I'll continue to come here. read more

I don't write too many reviews, but I wanted to give a plug for this dry cleaners and help them out so they can stick around for a long time. They do an impeccable job every time. They get the basics right - clothes are super clean without ever getting damaged or warped. But they also notice details and address them without even being asked. They always remove the pilling on my wool coat without being asked, for example. They're friendly and reliable. I moved a few neighborhoods away from them, and tried another place a few times. I didn't realize that you can actually do a mediocre/bad dry cleaning job. I guess I was spoiled. So I hop on the subway and go a few stops further. Worth it. read more

I discovered Tri Parkway Cleaners after a friend suggested that I give them a try. I had a suit dry cleaned, and a new set of Pajama's altered. My suit looks great, and the alterations on the Pajama's are just fine. Tri Parkway also launders shirt's. You can take the F/G train to Ft Hamilton Parkway, and the B16,B67,B69 or B103 bus lines stop nearby. The owner Mike is a real "character", and the neighborhood is very peaceful. read more

I pass about three or four other dry cleaners to go to this business. Their work is impeccable and I have always gotten sound advice for care of my garments. Just today, I went in with a dress I had washed according to instructions and the dress was uneven. I brought it to Tri parkway and Mike really knows his stuff. The duena is a wonderful tailor and all staff (i.e. her sons/grandsons) are gracious and helpful. There's talent there, but you have to travel a bit. Take the F to Ft Hamilton Parkway and walk a few blocks! Worth it! I bought a beautiful sports jacket for practically nothing at the closing Lord and Taylor on 5th Avenue, a size too big. I've downgraded my review for one reason: the tailoring. The dry cleaning is still fantastic and affordable. The family is very nice and personable. However, I've given up bringing items to mend. The tailoring takes too long, is sometimes forgotten (I've had items returned dry-cleaned but not repaired), and the tailoring is sometimes just not done very well. I think this is due to the fact that they don't really have a person on staff to do this sort of work and someone just does the repair work on their spare time. read more

I really wanted to like this place. I live around the corner and constantly need dry cleaning and tailoring services. The original guy I talked to was super nice. I went to see if my items were ready earlier than expected, just because it was on my walk home. When I got there, a young girl was working (also very nice) and she said they were ready. When I looked at them, they weren't fully done--something got miscommunicated in the grapevine of people. That's ok--I wasn't expected to pick them up until today. When I got in, another older woman was working (def a cute family owned business). She was very nice and went to find my dresses. The owner (maybe the son of the older woman?) came out and was extremely rude. This is why I'm giving a 3 star review. He was talking over me and was basically saying that the amount of work put into these garments was not worth the price I paid. It's not the customer's fault to pay a certain price your employee (maybe son?) gave me. Perhaps there should be better communication between everyone.. All in all, I would've gone back because the dresses look great. The customer service was great from everyone EXCEPT the older man. He really needs to learn how to talk to human beings (especially ones that are paying him) more decently. read more

PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE!!! .... For alterations and tailoring! This place is only recommended for Dry Cleaning. I brought in a few blazers to get hemmed several weeks back and it took literally 6 weeks to get the job done, she couldn't find one of my blazers, took the buttons that belonged with the jacket, different color threading on buttons and the job was just so so. Then recently took 3 brand new expensive jeans to get hemmed and she botched the lengths on them...example one leg is about 1/4 inch shorter then the other. ON ALL 3 PAIRS!! Unbelievable. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BRING ANYTHING FOR ALTERATIONS TO THIS WOMAN AGAIN. I will just stick to Dry Cleaning and seriously recommend others do the same. It will cost you more money for repairs to get it fixed the right way elsewhere. But will save you the aggravation and frustration from these numb nuts. Trust me you will be thanking me later. I see many reviews about poor experiences with alterations. I've used them twice. Once for a very complicated alteration on a bridesmaid dress that needed to be done quickly and once for basic hem on slacks. They worked magic on the dress.
