Don't go here. I dropped a dress off to be shortened. The owner was sitting in his car outside the shop and didn't even measure me for the hem, just asked how many inches I wanted off. The reviews were good and he was in my neighborhood so I decided to go through with it. He told me he would text me the price when he spoke to the tailor. Then they went ahead and did the work without confirming the price with me, which was double the amount I pay at my other place. Then I tried to pick up the dress two different times when he said he was open but he was not. Finally intercepted the shop when it was open. He handed me my dress back from his car all crumpled and the hem itself is messy and not well done. read more

Like other reviews here have pointed out, the old man working here is very rude and not friendly. He has a very defensive attitude. I was reviewing my clothes to ensure they were adequately cleaned. My blazer looked a little discolored (it may have just been the low ambient light), so I asked nicely if it was dry-cleaned also. Instead of just answering the question politely (like "yes" or "of course"), out of nowhere he got defensive and angry and shouted at me: Smell it! Smell it! He also got defensive, saying in an angry tone that I inspected clothes like looking at a dead body. Aside from a dumb analogy, it's any customer's right to view clothes to ensure they're adequately clean before paying. Very basic and simple. He's also not usually there before 3p, and requested that I pick up my clothes between 4 - 6:45p. Not very convenient compared to other cleaners. He said he waited too long for me, which makes ZERO sense because I arrived at ~ 6p, within the time frame that he requested. He also charges more than other dry cleaners on average, especially for jackets and blazers. This guy is either a miserable, unhappy person or has a mental illness. I will NEVER come back here again. No one deserves to be treated this way. read more

At first, I thought it was kind of strange that a dry cleaner, of all businesses, would have such a devoted following. But this is a dry cleaner unlike one you've ever used before. You can text the owner to ask about your clothes! They'll text to let you know when it's ready. Timothy even taught me some Mandarin while getting my clothes ready. This is business as it used to be. They genuinely care. They made my clothes (including a dress that had been crumpled at the bottom of my closet and somehow got cat fur on it) look new again. Much appreciated. read more

I brought in a thrifted Dior jacket that just needed the elastic redone and they did a great job! I brought it in on a Wednesday and they said about 2 days so I was hoping to have it in time for the weekend but they texted me Thursday morning that it was ready to pick up. The guy who worked there was very helpful and the whole process was efficient--clear communication and I felt very confident he understood exactly what I was asking for without too much back and forth. I made the mistake of dropping clothes here and had to come by 5 times to try and pick them up bc the door was always locked despite it being stayed open hours. They leave a phone number saying they are in the back but it goes straight to voicemail.d. Maybe the place is closing? Don't risk losing your clothes read more

If you do get him they do a great job with your clothes. However, This business needs to update their hours because he's never there after 10 and before 3... which is very inconvenient considering the hours says 8-7pm. This is the third time I've attempted to drop something off and although the sign says he's in the back, when you call he says never at the store. read more

I love this place, they're kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and above all they actually do a fantastic job. They take care and consideration with your belongings. I've gone to a few other dry cleaners around the city out of convenience - but Im always disappointed and end up back at OMG. I'd highly recommend them to anyone in the neighborhood. read more

This is the worst dry-cleaner I have ever used. The receptionist is an exceptionally rude man in good times. Then there came three problems. First, he lost the bag that came with my made-to-measure suit. Second, he forgot to fix the button for which he had charged me extra. Third, I noticed a tear in my pant seams the first time I wore them after picking them up from this place. Admittedly, they may have been there earlier, but I doubt it. When I pointed to the receptionist that my bag was missing, he lost his temper. He shouted that I am not a gentleman and, improbably, that he has never had a complaint in ten years of dry-cleaning senators' suits. He then said I could take any other suit bag on the store's hangers--which sounds nice, until you realize that he was sacrificing other customers' hangers. I was so uncomfortable about his conduct that I had to step outside. He admitted that he had failed to fix the button. So there is at least one complaint to which this store had "pleaded guilty." When he fixed it, it looked nothing like the other buttons on my cuffs. There was far too much thread. Everything about this experience was a disaster. Lastly, I went to OMG with some friends. He also bungled their orders, breaking the button on one of their suits. read more

Nicest cleaners I've been to so far, expensive like hell though. 2 dresses cost me $26. They say that they're organic. Owner is very nice. You get what you pay for as a closer cleaners was a complete waste of money and then had the nerve to have an attitude. read more

UPDATE: after hearing back from the business, they explained to me that they had a very serious family emergency and basically all that could go wrong did, hence their being closed. They did not charge me for that specific bill, so I'm upgrading my review. Everything else below details my initial experience, but I want to be clear that they rectified the situation without my even having to ask. That said, having been satisfied with their work once before, I took a few items to be cleaned, one week before having to travel for a wedding. The items in question were my tux for said wedding, a jacket I wanted to take on this trip, and a few other things (shirts, etc). When I went, on a Saturday, they told me to come back on Tuesday. So Tuesday after work, I went to pick up my stuff only to find the place closed. Realizing it was 5:45pm and maybe they closed earlier than they claim on Yelp or their own site, I shrugged it off, knowing that I could come back Thursday during the day--noon, to be precise--since I flew out the day after and I'd have plenty of time to pack my stuff and have a great trip. Imagine my surprise when I found the place closed again. I called, left a voicemail, and got no response. I called every hour on the hour, on the off chance that they would be open later in the day (maybe they were out for lunch or something). Nothing. So, in spite of their promises and listed opening hours, they have no contingency plan for whatever it is that caused them to not open today. Not even call forwarding so that I could get in touch with someone--ANYONE--that could get me the clothes I need. To me, this is unacceptable in a business operating in 2018; we have way too many communication platforms and resources to let people know when a venue will not open. Now I'm forced to spend money on a tux rental, not to mention the two trips there that I made for nothing, and the day I had to take off from work in order to run this one errand. In short: they do good work, if they're open for log enough. Sadly, I can't trust this business enough to ever come back. read more

Love this place & the owners! Great neighborhood spot. I got my fall/winter coats cleaned here and they look great + they are also a green cleaners. I brought my doggy along for the pick up walk and the owner saw me struggling to releash my pup w coats in hand and he ran out and leashed up my dog for me and showed me the best way to carry the coats home. im in a wedding party in a few weeks and they completely destroyed my bridesmaid dress. i told them not to rush but they insisted on getting it done the same day. they cut my dress way too short, and threw away the extra fabric so i can't even see it on for the extra length. my dress is not cut evenly all around. i paid $200 for them to straighten out my dress and adjust the straps but the job was so terribly done. read more
