I brought in two dresses to be shortened. One was a bit tricky but they said they could handle it. The hem turned out uneven. They gave an excuse and I told them I had spoken to the owner about this and was assured it would be ok. After some push back, they agreed to fix it. The "fixed" result is honestly terrible. It was an $160 dress and I feel crushed. I was so excited to wear it on a big trip. I brought in a pleated skirt. When I got it back the pleats were completely gone. I called the owner and he told me he "didn't believe me" and that he "doesn't run his business that way". I told him I had photo evidence of this and he said I was a liar and he wouldn't do anything about it. I've posted the photos of my ruined skirt here. While some of my clothes were cleaned, others came back looking completely untouched. If you care about your clothes don't bring them here. Update: I brought my skirt in and the owner said he checked and I was right; he would try to fix it. He then commented on my review here stating the exact opposite of what actually occurred. I don't ask a lot from a dry cleaner. I don't need alterations. I don't need same-day service. I don't need wash and fold. I don't need back massages (although I wouldn't say no). All I need is for them to wash and press some shirts for me, dry clean whatever it is that my wife needs dry cleaned, and not lose any of these things before they are returned to me. That last part is really the most important bit there. I would rather you just returned my clothes uncleaned, instead of losing them. I have altered a few items here (simple hem), no tapering and usually it's pretty reasonable to the neighborhood prices. This review is only for service by ONE employee (not owner) who does not pay attention to detail. I dropped off a dress for simple hem (no need for try on). She said she couldn't mark it (with a safety pin) and asked that I wait for her boss. I did not have time so I said can you please just cut straight across (no double layer of fabric), so she conceded and marked my dress with red chalk. The owner was nice enough to follow up (via call since I left my #) to give me a price quote since it's not listed on their price sheet. Since I wasn't given a physical receipt (since price wasn't on the sheet), I gave my phone #. I called a week later to pick up the item and confirmed with owner it was ready. The next morning, When I went to retrieve them item, this particular employee did not input my phone number correctly - she added an extra digit and told me she could not find the item. Since it was an altered dress and the owner had called me back, I knew my # was linked to this item. She then searched one tote bag for my dress which didn't make sense at all if it is in the "pile" of altered items that do not need to be hung for example, a t-shirt possibly. This made no sense. She then proceeded to help two customers and made a mistake on one of their weight-load receipt. He had to come back in because the price on the scale display (and that she confirmed for him) before the print-out was different. Then she helped the other customer and told me she couldn't find my dress. I said, try my # again and watched her manually type it this time knowing that she probably wasn't paying attention the first instance. Boom. Item appears. Now I am late an appointment because this whole interaction took 15 minutes instead of less than a max transaction time of 3 minutes (no customers there when I arrived). If you are in a bind, this place can turn alterations within a week, however, if the owner is not present, be prepared for longer than expected wait times and inattention to detail for this one employee. She was apologetic after but just seems careless when it comes to details. Check your receipts. read more

In the neighborhood, took a Burberry Shirt to them, got it back with a teared hole in the middle of it. Was devastated by how the tear and ripped looked on the middle of the Burberry shirt. Cute, small store helmed by nice, responsible people. The price, on average, is much more reasonable than two other dry cleaning places I've been to in the area. And they will send a text to the number you leave them to let you know when your items are ready. I'm always astounded by people who claim to have horrifying experiences. I don't do anything special or chat or anything else extra other than drop off my clothes, tell them my name/number, and reconfirm the number and type of dry cleaning I'm dropping off. (Maybe it's because I say "thank you"?) They'll usually tell me when the items will be ready and the one time I needed it a day earlier, they said sure and didn't make a fuss about it. And it was ready on the day they promised. Every time I've picked up (from shirts to dresses to jackets) have all been finely cleaned and pressed, without issue. And that is a typical, somewhat boring, experience you most likely will have here. read more

DO NOT go to this place! Appalling customer service, undeniable lack of respect and blatant disregard for your clothes. I was needed an easy, take in of the waist, alteration and two pairs of jeans mended that had a small rip. Initially before even moving forward with the alterations in the first place I reviewed what I needed done, feasibility of timing bc I needed these items by Friday. I was told no problem, it was Monday I can get them by Wednesday. After kicking and dragging wash and fold laundry out of the way to allow me into the "dressing room" to prepare to get the pants altered, I then was measured. I got a receipt for my items and left. After 6pm on Wednesday, and not receiving my clothes, I stopped in first thing on Thursday morning to see what the status was. I was then told that it was difficult for them to do and that I would get it Friday or Saturday. Reminding them I needed my clothes by the next day I got a shrug and a "we see what we can do." So, there I was, maybe I'll get my clothes maybe not. Well, I indeed received my clothes... and was HORRIFIED. The two pairs of jeans now have an abundance of black thread in the most ridiculous "pattern" all over the whole area, not just where the small rips were..ruined and beyond repair (see pictures) the tailor, that clearly had no idea what they were doing, sent back what is an absolute JOKE! Also, pants that needed a pinch taken in on the waist, I couldn't even button! So I stop in with my clothes to demand an explanation and a refund, for inadequate service. I was then yelled at, told to try the pants on bc he didn't believe me and that refunds are not their policy. So there you have it - that's how they do business. Overall, it's a good dry cleaner in the neighborhood. Their prices are fair, the quality is good, and they get the job done. The people are also really nice. They even have a great system that texts you when your clothes are ready. My only issue was when I brought in my handbag for stain treatment. Essentially, they sent it out to have it done and the person said they couldn't do anything about the stains. That's fine; it happens. I was just annoyed that it took 3 weeks for them to tell me. They were nice and apologetic about it, but perhaps something could be done to expedite the response time. Other than that, it's a good place for routine dry cleaning. ASAP stain treatment? Just an update.... they did finally agree to pay me $50 for my skirt which is I believe their policy and common dry cleaning policy, aka 10x what you paid to have an item cleaned. Not great but perfectly reasonable. HOWEVER, initially when I'd called they told me I had to remove my yelp review before they would pay me the additional $30. Yikes!!! I told them I wouldn't do that. So I finally had to go to the store in person and request the additional $30 they had agreed to pay. They said they'd done it about two weeks ago but sent me a photo of the receipt which is dated the day I visited and requested it. So, as I promised them (had to in order to get payment since they're apparently into blackmailing customers too!), I am updating my review. Stay far away from this place please! read more

I dropped it off on a Saturday past 11am and the had it ready by Monday 5pm, which is acceptable, except I had to pay the extra $10 for that which is a bit too much. Other than that it was all good. Please beware of this cleaning business. The company picked up a large bag of my business clothes to be dry cleaned right before the COVID shutdown in March (confirmed by my front door security). When I called Atlantic after the re-opening, the owner denied ever taking my clothes. In fact, he was so adamant that he never makes a mistake that it was clear there was some shadiness going on. I have been going here for a year now and love their prices and service. They charge $1.10/lb and will separate items to hang dry without an additional charge. They also do same-day turnaround if you drop it off before 11am. The only downside is that they aren't open Sundays and that the hours are a little variable for open/close (if you're planning on them being open on time to drop off your stuff on the way to the subway, call ahead first to see if someone answers). read more

We called around and Atlantic said they could take in the pants and do a rush job. So, I went into the storefront, tried on the pants in a little makeshift dressing room, and had them measure everything for alterations. Within about 3-4 hours, the pants were done and ready for pickup. They did a fantastic job in such a quick turnaround. In addition, I think the total cost was something like $40 or less. Horrible. Shrunk my favorite pair of pants and the dryer burner through one of my shirts and left the melted residue for evidence. Not to mention- There are a lot of "rules" that go along with using this service so before booking, you should be well aware of how they operate. Worst case scenario, you might not get your laundry for a day... or 3.... Same day services must be dropped off/picked up bright and early and expect to pay a pretty penny for it. Just tried this place for the first time. I wasn't aware that it was new in the neighborhood. The owners are really warm and friendly. I dropped off my laundry on a Saturday morning and it was separated, cleaned and folded so neatly all ready the same afternoon - they even delivered it to my place. It's a clean, organized place with added perks like Apple Pay and a texting service when your clothes are ready. I must say the folding and packaging of your clothes was incredibly well-done.
