I walked in with some jeans that needed to be a few inches shorter. They had a fitting room available to try on the garment, but I ended up not using it. Instead I told them how many inches needed to be taken off for the new hem. They did an excellent job and I was very satisfied with the results. They offered to keep the original hem at a slightly higher price, but the value was still excellent. read more

I've come here twice now and service has been great and they have a quick turnaround as well!

Cheaper prices - but is it worth it when your clothes come back damaged? Two incidents when this has happened. There will not be a third time. read more

I've come here more times than I can count for both dry cleaning and alterations. Linda is always very kind and efficient. I'm very particular about my clothes and they always come very clean and damage-free (I've been scarred by others). So happy to have them in my backyard. read more

They have inconsistent pricing depending who is at the front counter, which isn't right. Rosa was discourteous and refused to honor the price I had previously paid (twice!) that was in their system. Original price was $8 and she wanted to charge me $11.50. She also refused to provide the manager's contact information and was not interested in getting my concerns addressed. Discrimination is illegal and you should honor the price list you have posted in the store. read more

I had items picked up from my building that I handed to the driver directly. Two weeks later, still no delivery. When I called them, the woman who answered said that they were trying to clean one of my jackets again because of the stains -- the jacket wasn't stained when I sent it off! They finally delivered 4/6 items. Two weeks after that, still no jacket delivery until I called requested it be returned back. When they finally delivered it, there were stains all over the jacket, making it unwearable. When I called to ask about the other missing item, a pair of pants, she said they never received it. Turned out, they did have it! And the video she sent looks like there's a hole in the leg, which also wasn't there when I had it sent off. Now, over five weeks from the pickup date, still no response from their email or store team on how they're going to deal with the pants or jacket. I think that they were going to avoid returning the two damaged items hoping that I wouldn't remember that I sent them off because I can't think of any other reason as to why they just wouldn't return them or communicate about the delay! read more

I got a couple of garments cleaned and they were fine. I brought my winter coat with fur trim and the fur trim came back completely destroyed, unfortunately beyond repair. I went to the shop to request a refund and got complete push back. The lady at the counter blamed me for the damage and refused to give me a refund. They lost a customer for good. read more

Always the best and so helpful! Good service and quick service! So nice and willing to adjust schedules as needed

I might as well have not washed this jacket--and I wouldn't have had to deal with bad attitude either. I was shocked to see how many marks and stains were left, so I asked, "how was this cleaned?" The lady working there immediately retorted, "are you telling me how to do my job?" I clarified I was only asking how it was cleaned. She said it was dry clean, and "they already cleaned it twice so it's clean." Then when I showed her all the stains, she kept insisting that they weren't able to get rid of it as it's a light jacket. What did I pay $35 for? This is insulting. Also, if they looked at the clothing tag, they would've seen that the instructions are to hand wash the jacket. The symbols indicate NOT to dry clean. When I initially handed it to them, all I said was please clean it, so not on me that they decided to dry clean it. I only came here instead of doing it myself in order to save time, yet that's now what I'll have to do. (Update: yes I was able to get it all with soap and cold water.) AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. read more

I have lived in Park Slope for over 10 years and have been going to Happy Cleaners for my dry cleaning for most of those years. Donald has been my go-to tailor when it comes to my alterations. I have walked in with small task like fixing a button and big task like taking in a denim dress by two sizes. No matter the task Donald has always done an excellent job. He will even tell me the truth when an alteration can't be done. When you're a fashion girl, alterations are a must and a great tailor is a necessity. Donald makes sure I always look my best in my outfits! read more

Been going here for years and I have no complaints. Linda is always so kind and handles my clothes with utmost care. Thank you!

Linda at Happy Cleaners is wonderful! I highly recommend coming here for all of your tailoring needs.

This is the best place to get your clothes dry cleaned. Donald tailor is master level. Don't go anywhere else but here!

I have had many wonderful experiences with Donald's keen tailoring eye. Most clothes I buy need to be altered and he is always up to the task. Recently, Donald worked with precision on the many alterations needed to transform a vintage silk suit into my Mother of the Groom outfit. At each step of the process, he thoughtfully explained what we needed to do, what could not be done, and how he would address all of my concerns. Donald did this with humor and kindness. This made a potentially stressful experience into a pleasure. The dress was a smashing success and I look forward to future alterations with Donald. I have always been happy with the dry cleaning at Happy Cleaners as well. read more
