I have been lucky enough to be a customer for a few years now and love them. They do a nice job washing and folding. you can specify if you don't want scented fabric softener and they will actually remember that. I get pickup and delivery and feel very spoiled by it. I do tip on delivery bc i am so happy with their service. (Would not say it is necessary) they once lost a shower curtain that was so dirty i had out it in a separate bag... but otherwise no issues whatsoever after years. read more

The BEST! I used them for over ten years, then moved away from the neighborhood for five years. When I moved back and got in touch, they picked up my laundry within 15 minutes. Once I received it, I noticed how much cleaner and better folded my laundry is with "The Wu" than anywhere else. when you think of laundry--the words "exciting," "thrilling," and "awe," rarely come to mind... BUT when i encountered the concept of pick up, drop off, fold laundry service as a bay area native i was absolutely flabbergasted and enticed! i had to try it out for myself before i completed my long trip and went home. the idea of getting my laundry taken care of so i wouldn't have to haul a ton of dirty clothes home was super alluring. i was staying in bed-stuy, and while Waverly wasn't the closest in proximity, i was blown away by the outstanding reviews and had to try it out for myself. they absolutely did not disappoint! i made a call to Waverly in the afternoon and they promptly picked up and took down my location information, they came in less than an hour to pick up my laundry in the same day! they are cash only! rates are pretty affordable. they charge a minimum of $14, with that being at least 10 pounds, $1.40/lb. super friendly service. texted me the next day that my laundry was ready and i could either pick up or get it delivered. they don't take any extra costs in delivering and picking up, which i enjoyed. next time, however--i'll be sure to tip. they saved my number and came right through in less than half an hour to deliver my laundry the next afternoon! the clothes were perfectly folded, with all washing instructions followed, and smelled great. one thing i'd like to note is that they have spectacular customer service. thought they had lost a small article of mine, so i called in and explained the situation. was able to text the guys at Waverly and they opened up an investigation. showed me CCTV footage of the item being folded between larger items, i was relieved and found the item promptly! they did this all on a friday evening and were super quick about it, even wished me a great evening. the next time i'm in town I'll engage in this sweet deal again. i think it's so convenient, especially as my unit didn't have a washing machine or dryer. they're very clearly super organized and great at their jobs. the whole entire process was so simple and seamless. i'm still astounded as i'm thinking about it right now. unbeatable 5 star customer service, super amicable, quick and easy, highly accessible, great turn-around times, they're the cream of the crop for sure. felt like i was really being taken care of here by the staff, and that personability will always stand out to me as being super memorable and will have me as a loyal client whenever i'm in town. read more

I've used a lot of drop off services but Waverly is by far the best. They charge by the pound, with a $10-$15 minimum. And they are FAST. If you drop off in the morning or early afternoon your laundry will be done within a few hours same day. I've been using Waverly for the past two years since I live in the area. But I'm posting this review because today I did delivery for the first time and WOW. I called to place the order and they were at my doorstep to pick the dirty laundry (a bunch of clothes, towels, and sheets) up in 10 minutes. Just six hours later, I received a text that my order was ready. I called to schedule delivery and they had it back to be within 5 minutes. No delivery fees, just remember to tip. :) read more

I travel a lot for work and they conveniently drop off and pick up from morning until night. Clothes always come back neatly folded, bagged, and smelling amazing. They will also call you before washing anything that says dry clean only. They pay attention to details. The men who work here are always so nice when they come to my house and when I call them. I love this laundromat, and I will actually miss them when I move next week to a place with washer-dryer. They're super fast (less than 12 hours turnaround) and do a great job, never losing socks or damaging items. But my favorite part is how kind the pick up/delivery guys are. They say hi to the dog (who doesn't always love strangers but adores them) and don't ever complain when I don't have my laundry ready (oops). I tip 30% every time. I'm sure I don't need to but I really love these guys, and it's usually super cheap. I don't even know their rate per pound, because I wouldn't bother going elsewhere! I used to use Cleanly and FlyCleaners until they became too expensive and unreliable. I wish I had never bothered with them! Waverly Wu does an amazing job with reliable service and friendly folks. My boyfriend and I have been using Waverly Wu for about 5 consecutive weeks now. Initially, we were impressed by the fast and convenient same day pick up and drop off service, but we will no longer be using their services. The quality of the wash is very inconsistent. Some days, the laundry is neatly folded and absolutely perfect. Other days, the folds are messy. On my most recent wash, there was white powder all over my black clothing and none of my bras or socks were folded. All the bras were twisted, tangled together and inside out! After this horrible experience, I will be discontinuing my services with them and washing my laundry elsewhere. read more

Efficient, personalized, and affordable (compared to other services i've seen). The texting notification they have to tell you when your laundry is done is also great. My $400 top+skirt set was ruined thanks to them. Been using them for a while, not the best when it comes to service but figured why fix something that's not broken. Last week I sent over 6 pcs, including a ivory top that was part of a set. Came back completely a diff color (see picture compared to the skirt). I've only worn the top once (it's brand new) so you can imagine how upset I was. Called them sat morning to explain what had happened and was told the driver would come pick up the piece and I said I'd show them the difference. Waited an hour, driver showed up and I showed him the difference. Then received a call from them asking me what the problem was - which I've explained this morning the first time I called. Was also told by this unapologetic and rude manager to "not yell" when I've never heard him once say "sorry this happened, we will try our best to fix it". He then told me it's not their fault and I have to understand that it's the material's fault. I then called Shopbop where I bought the set from and was told they've almost sold out of all units (1 left) and have yet to receive any feedback on the discoloration issue post dry-cleaning. Luckily Shopbop has much better service (offered the last replacement set available free of charge) than their rude manager who basically told me I was wrong and "stop yelling". If you want to keep your customers happy, please don't tell them (when they're understandably upset) that 1. It's the "material"'s fault 2. Unapologetic about the entire situation read more
