We walked in and the staff were very friendly, took our stuff and asked what kind of soap we wanted. The regular detergent has a scent. We didn't want the scent and so, chose the organic soap. Bingo, the right decision. Our clean clothing was ready about 6 hours later, beautifully folded and wonderfully clean. The cost was completely reasonable. If we need this service again, we will be back to use their services.

They squeezed all of our clothes and linens into one bag instead of separating into two which caused a huge rip at the top of the laundry bag. 4. They will apologize profusely with no valid explanation or solution. They will offer a discount for the next time when they know you won't ever use their service again. 5. They will overcharge you for the service a week later, not providing any sort of receipt or itemized breakdown of costs.

I was sad to leave my old tailor as we had built a good rapport over 10 years, but she really helped me feel comfortable as I tried on the dresses and she pinned them. I dropped off three dresses for simple shortened hemlines and one zipper fix. She told me to come back next Thursday (yesterday) and charged me $70. perfect. In the city I was paying 60$ for ONE HEMLINE so this was a dream. I pick up my dresses and must say they are absolutely perfect. The hems are impeccable and the man there was so nice! I frequent this laundromat since I moved out to NY 11 years ago, but, since this laundromat has…read morebeen under new management, with the new name being " NEW 185 Laundromat " not 168 cleaning so the name should be updated, they completely ruined my laundry. When I picked up my laundry and unpacked it the next day, I found my favorite ankle length cream cardigan sweater turned to pink. I immediately went to the laundromat and spoke to the guy who did my laundry. Due to the language barrier, he couldn't understand the severity of the issue, so I asked him to please call the owner. When I spoke to the owner and tried to explain the issue, he stated that they are not responsible for color damages, which this is not stated anywhere in the laundromat. He was combative & tried to place the blame on me, when I left my clothes in their care. I NEVER had any issues with my laundry in the past 11 years that I have been coming to this place, until now. The owner didn't try to rectify the situation & when I stated that I was going to make a formal complaint with the city, he said "go ahead and that he didn't care." After going home completely upset, I decided to go through the remainder of my laundry, and found 11 more items completely pink and RUINED!! All of my creams, whites, grays, lavenders, & mint colored items were completely ruined in a bubble gum or blush pink color. DO NOT GO TO THIS LAUDROMAT, unless you are washing your clothes yourself. They have horrible service, and will not take accountability for their mistakes and gaslight you into thinking it was your fault. There isn't any good customer service here.
