Super Li Laundry is the best. I come here for the drop off service, which is done with Tide and Downy not some generic detergent bought from your local wholesale store. They charge about .70 cents per lb. My clothes always come out very clean, smells sooooo fresh and are folded to perfection. Mr. Li and his wife are very nice people that don't speak much English but who cares they get the job done. He is always helpful and when I am struggling with laundry he comes out to my car to get my bags. I have used their machines to do my own laundry once before and the machines are new and efficient. Dryers were not to hot to roast my clothes, burning out the fabric softener. They also still use quarters, not a card you have to pay for before you even start washing. ugghhh annoying. No complaints about the customers either, mostly South American immigrants and carribean folks. This place is clean and cozy (aka small), good time on the machines, cool customers, and friendly management. read more

Been coming here for many years and felt very positive about Super Li. But for the last several times I've gone in, they started putting fragrance each time, when I clearly ask for no fragrance. Not sure what the disconnect is. read more

I had to stop using them because they are dishonest. I have a scale in home and I always weigh each bag ahead of time and write it down with the way it was. Every single time when they were laundry, returns the man jacks up the weight on every bag by a very considerable amount. When I bring this to his attention, he starts doing the whole double talk routine and I explain to him listen, I know the week and you are giving me a totally different wait when it comes back. Then he starts saying oh you had special items. Again, I explained to him that he was completely wrong. I know every item that went out in the laundry bags and I know when I put a blanket in or any other type of specialty item that's going to cost me some ridiculous amount of money. I thought he would get his act together and stop being dishonest once I confronted him, but I was wrong. Another very troubling thing that he does, is they advertise on the signage what Wash, Dry and Fold/ Pick-Up & Delivery $.70 but when he comes back with your laundry and you look at your bill and your eyes pop out of your head, he then tells you know the price is whatever he says each time it's different he'll say one dollar sometimes he says $1.25 it just changes every time. In the beginning they did a good job with cleaning the laundry and folding it but the last few times I use them it was awful. They've decided to not even pair up the socks and they just throw all the socks in the bag It's insane. This last time that I used them I had four bags of laundry, I don't recall what the whole poundage was exactly at this writing of this review, but I do remember that no bag was more than 33 pounds I believe. My bill was over $200. I told him I will never call you again, another really insulting and ridiculous business practice that this man does is he advertises pick up and delivery door-to-door, but he will ask me every time to bring the bags down for flights of stairs and then when he comes back with the bags he tries to just leave them in the vestibule that is not pick up and delivery door to door. When I confront him about this, he starts complaining about getting tickets. I explain to him every time that's the cost of doing business in Brooklyn or in Manhattan in New York City parking is terrible. So you need to hire someone a high school student perhaps someone that is either going to be the one to run the bags up and down to the customers or they just sit in the car so that you don't get a ticket. It's the cost of doing business and I hate it that he puts that on me the customer I'm already paying an exorbitant amount of money for his not so good service anymore. When his father ran the business, he was just as bad dishonest and ran the same games on me about getting tickets and all that and always jacked up the poundage. I don't want to do business with somebody like that. I also don't want to pay $200 to get my laundry done and then not even folding stuff properly. There are plenty of services where I can pay the same price of $200 and get excellent excellent service where the drivers wouldn't even think about asking me to carry anything up or down the stairs. I don't know what is going on in society today, but everybody's got a chip cup out now it's ridiculous, and nobody does extraordinary service to even deserve these things except for waiters and waitresses. That's a hard job. But not to go off on too much of a tangent, but counter servers are not supposed to get tips from handing me something over a counter cashiers are not supposed to get tips for taking my money it's gotten out of hand. And also, this is another big point you do not tip owners of businesses and this man is the owner of the laundromat so he doesn't get a tip. Employees get tips. read more

Small, crowded laundromats can lend to a stressful experience. I don't know how many times I have had my earbuds in, rockin out to some De La, and next thing I know the pissed off tap of a competitive washer is felt on my shoulder....obviously I didn't hear her many "excuse me's"..... This establishment completely eliminates those awkward "wash or push" moments where you are forced to make a split second decision of whether to start a fight over the machine or back away....the owner plays referee in the middle of the floor the whole time! No more guesswork---he hurries everyone through the process and there is never any hostility. Whew. Now I can just enjoy my tunes until folding time... read more

Super Li is exactly what you would want out of a Mom & Pop business. Every time I walk through the door I am greeted and the owner or his wife ask how I am. No matter how busy it is in there they always take the time to make sure I feel valued as a customer, and they are genuinely appreciative of my business. I use their drop off service and it is always done quickly and my clothes are folded to perfection, and socks and underwear are separated. As an added bonus they even take the time to pair up all my socks. They also offer wash and press for shirts which is not always easy to find. I highly recommend taking your business here! read more

They change the prices on a whim. Inside the store and outside the store for example says that skirts can be cleaned for five dollars. I get to the counter and she says the skirts are $5.50. Then when I bring up my calculator to show how they overcharged me, she claimed that the skirt was special (it wasn't)and wherefore $10. Even then, she fell a few dollars short of what she tried to charge me in the first place. read more

They do a nice job with cleaning and folding laundry but I don't trust their "financial" side. I just moved into the neighborhood, and I walked in and asked how much it costs, to which the older lady replied that it's $0.70/lbs. So far so good. I consider it a reasonable price, so I'm happy. The next day I bring a medium size bag of laundry (all dark clothing), and she quickly puts it on the weight (I walked behind her to see how heavy it was, but had no chance of seeing it), and she writes me a receipt of $8. I come to pick it up the next day, and bring another bag of whites. This bag is obviously a lot smaller comparing to the black load she has JUST given me, but she writes me another receipt of $8, without even putting it on a scale. I couldn't really understand this action but they all speak pretty poor English and so to spare myself some awkward situation, I take my black clean load and I go home. I come the next day to pick up my white load. I then ask to weight it, and THEN they tell me that there is a minimum charge of $8! So my load needs to be of about 12lbs (which would then cost $8.4) to make it worthwhile. I wish she told me this YESTERDAY, when we exchanged the two loads, and there was obviously a difference in weight! They then finger point at some price list, HIDDEN somewhere on a door in the middle of the space, with a facial expressions: "Look! It's all there!" Are you kidding me?! Am I supposed to know of this price list in THAT place? It's not on their FRONT door (wouldn't that be a more logical place?!) or not even above one of their folding desks, closer to the entrance and where most of customer interaction happens. So I guess the upsetting part is: when I initially asked how much it costs, why wasn't I directed to that price sheet? In addition, why wasn't I told "it's $.70/lbs and there is a minimum charge of $8"? Instead, she gladly accepted my second (white) load which was under 5lbs (I weighed it later at home with a luggage scale) and charged me a full $8!!! I am now pretty certain my first load wasn't 12lbs either, but she didn't mention that I could squeeze in some more laundry if I wanted to, as it is going to cost me $8 anyway, and leave me the choice of lumping my bag back home just to squeeze in a pair of nickers. I probably wouldn't have anyway but it's a matter of being honest and transparent with your customers!!! NOT the way to do business and for that reason, I am not going there anymore. read more

Pick up and delivery & drop off review They're amazing! Clothes always smells so good and they put your whites in a different bag. Friendly owners too! read more

Hands down the best laundromat in the neighborhood. Although I have a spot right around the corner from my apartment, I travel a mile out of the way for their wash and fold service. 1) The owners are seriously the sweetest. 2) I know my clothes are in good hands. 3) Insanely quick service. 4) Everything is always nicely folded and smells SO good. As long as I'm living in the area I'll be sticking with these guys. read more

I have been using mr li for 1.5 years. And today I stop. They have been decent with laundry when you are desperate and can't drop off/pick up anywhere else, but their customer service is AWFUL and today it reached a boiling point. The main guy who picks up and drops off has demanded a tip in the past, despite me having given one every time!, and then scoffed at the amount I gave. From the beginning, our first interaction, he has been abrasive, rude, and today he was actually aggressive. He held my laundry bag hostage - wouldn't let me bring it inside my home when he was here for drop off - while I was getting my phone to pay via Venmo! It was shocking aggression. He was angry and yelling - while I simply went to get my phone. In addition, their prices are fraudulent and arbitrary ($28 minimum for drop off or delivery- that went up from $25 randomly overnight. Not based on poundage or by weight). Today I had a 22 pound laundry delivery and was charged $30. I asked why and the delivery guy, aggressive, didn't really have an answer. I have been using this service for 1.5 years no more. I don't trust the guy doing delivery and drop off and who I have been interacting with. He was extremely aggressive and seemed not honest. Decent laundry, but not worth the extremely headache and awful, insulting customer service. read more

Super Li Laundromat is so great, Mr. Li and his son are always nice and professional. When Mr. Li is in the store, he's particularly attentive to his customers, doing little big things like moving carts out of your way or just giving a smile. I usually go right as they open, and the space is always clean and ready for business. The majority of the clientele are original members of the neighborhood, and Mr. Li's genuine relationships with them shows through every greeting and the positive vibes in the space. Been going to them for over six years, deciding to write a review now because I definitely want folks to know how awesome this place is! read more

Best laundromat around for drop off service. They charge $0.70 a pound. They're very friendly. And they always have my clothes ready within 2-3 hours of me dropping it off no matter how much clothing it is. Clothes are always divided and folded nicely. read more

Pros: - super friendly owners - very fast service - OCD approved: - shirts folded perfectly square then arranged by color! - socks properly paired then packaged w/underwear in a separate plastic bag - I've yet to lose/gain any articles of clothing - competitive pricing Cons: - knowing that after I move laundry will never be this good read more

To be clear: I usually use drop off service at this place. The quality here is decent, all my clothes are always folded, and organized into a large plastic bag. My issue is with the pricing, which is clearly posted out front at 70¢/lb. Meaning ten pounds would be $7, twenty pounds $14, etc. Without fail, they GOUGE me an extra three dollars whenever i pick up. What's up with this? read more

I have been taking my clothes as well as using their pick up and delivery service for several years now and have nothing but praises for this wonderful, professional and friendly business! They also repair my clothes upon request and do dry cleaning. Their prices reflect their excellent services so I have no issues here. My clothes and other heavy items, like comforters and sofa covers, even pillows, are always returned perfectly cleaned and folded. This neighborhood is very lucky to have such a wonderful business and wonderful owners - I cannot recommend them enough! read more

I've used them for laundry drop-off for almost 2 years now, and I've never had any issues. If I drop laundry off in the morning, they're ready that same night; or if I drop them off at night, they're ready the next morning. Everything is always spotless, wrinkle-free, folded, and separated by item type. All of the staff are extremely friendly, and they always remember me when I come by. If I have any special instructions, they are always followed, and they always double-check the weight/price with me before I'm charged. They're great! read more

Re laundromat facility - this place is good. it is relatively clean, the machines work and are not too expensive. Also the owners are active in regulating the use of the machines and will pull out clothes that people have left in the machines after the cycle is over, so there's much less waiting than there would otherwise be (although wouldn't go on a Sunday afternoon) Re wash and fold - they wash and fold the clothes no doubt. However, their scale is off by almost 2 pounds, and they charge two $2 surcharges (one is to wash whites and colors separately, which you can waive, and I didn't figure out what the second was for). So for a typical load you're talking roughly $1/pound, which is expensive for the neighborhood and much more than their advertised 70 cents/pound. read more

This place is ok for laundry but they try to CHEAT their customers between $0.50 to $1 for every wash a fold order. They have a hand written price table pasted over a typed sheet with inflated total prices per pound which are higher than the price they advertise on their storefront ($9 for the first 10lbs and $0.70/pound after). When I lived in the neighborhood a few months ago I would have to complain every time I came. After I would show them calculations on my cell phone calculator they would grudgingly give the money back but would be extremely nasty to me. As a single mother living in that neighborhood without a car and no laundry in my building I had no other option but to go to that laundromat. I think it is a terrible SHAME that they try to take advantage of the poor people living there. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this laundomat. They are fast -- often I drop off my clothes in the morning and they are ready that same evening. Everything always smells great, is clean, and is folded perfectly. I have never had anything missing or ruined. I highly recommend this place! read more

We've been using super li for over a year now. Never had a problem and the staff is super nice and accommodating.

Li is amazing. Go here. He did our laundry perfectly, it was affordable, he and his wife are the nicest people. He gave me a hug! This guy goes the extra mile. He is wonderful. Go go go here. read more

These guys are THE BEST. My husband and I have been doing drop-off service for our laundry for the past few months, after having tried several other places in the Kensington area. Unlike some of these other places, we've never had any issue with missing/extra or shrunken items, and they do a very nice job folding & packing everything. The owners themselves are really nice and often help out with moving big bags. Overall, best drop-off service that we've found in the neighborhood. read more
