I'm sure coming here on a regular day is much smoother than visiting during an annual event. I usually do my laundry on Mondays across town in Bedstuy, but after joining the email list, trying out this event sounded cool. There is a snall parking lot, lots of machines, tvs and a few chairs. Though incredibly crowded and and a lot going on (children, activities, food, crazy families, giveaways, free laundry, detergent and bags), it was still a well run event with everyone getting their laundry clean and dry. I met one of the owners and one of the managers and they both were very kind in response to the hiccups doing my laundry. It was nice to see they are also aware of all reviews on various sites regarding all their stores. Just moved to the nabe. Needed quick laundry access and found this place. I agree it's expensive and the lack of flexibility when adding money to a card you have to pay to get is a disappoint. However, it is very clean, very bright, a huge selection of machines of various sizes, and NO TV. Felix, the staff person on duty this morning, could not have been kinder, friendlier, or more helpful. The machines are new and very few were out of order. Will definitely use it again. read more

It's annoying that you need to buy their card, rather than just using quarters. The first time I came here I could not get the card machine to work, and the staff were not helpful. But, now that I have a card, I've had no trouble reloading. The main advantage here is that it's huge. Like more than twice the size of other local laundromats. So there are always machines available, in whatever size you want. Now in COVID-19 times, I also appreciate that there's plenty of space around the machines, and two entrances that are propped open for air flow. There's seating if you want to wait around, but you can leave your stuff here; we've not had a problem with things being taken. You can buy soap here, and they also have a service where you can drop off your laundry and they'll do it for you. All in all, a good place, and they are open long hours! read more

This is my go to laundromat but finding it on yelp was difficult. At one point this might of a been a "Clean Rite Centers" but now its "Super Clean Laundromat." Anyways, this place has pros and cons to going here. This laundromat is very big compared to others near Church or Ft.Hamilton. There has always been a wash or dry ready for me when I come here. There is a lot of seating all over the place and tables to wrap up you clothes after a drying. This is probably the best aspect of this place. Price-wise its OK. For a single person a wash will cost 4 dollars and a 32 minute dry will cost $1.40 with a big dryer. There is only one dry size but many sizes for washes. All the machines use cards you place on, which works good enough with cards lasting a long time. They have various convenience things around the place like TVs, arcade games, gumball machines and vendors. The worst thing about this place though is its broken machines. On any day you come in there will be guaranteed several broken machines. Either they don't work at all or have a broken window or something. Expect arrow indicators in front of the machines to be completely wrong at times. Most times you can get a clerk to help you get your money back if you put some in but some times you can actually end up in an argument with them about it. I have had this happen several times over the years. This place can be a little more clean as well. Dry gums can found every everywhere and sometimes the floors are wet from a broken machine. With all that said though I still give this place an OK rating because I still prefer it over any small laundry place. read more

THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF!!!!!!!! First off, it is NO LONGER part of Clean Rite Centers YET they still have the name and signs up ALL OVER the store. Secondly, being that it is no longer a part of Clean Rite, you have to pay $0.35 per 8 minutes to dry (whereas Clean Rite has free dryers and they are super strong). Third, they do not tell you how much each washing machine cost. So you'll have to pull out your calculator to add up what you just spent and how much more you'll be spending. Overall, this place sucks and the owners are no better. Understanding that they are from another country but please don't give me attitude when asking a question. Keep in mind that this is a business and that maybe (just maybe) new customers may walk in and need assistance. Work on your customer service. I implore everyone to not come to this establishment. Washing clothes here was a never ending nightmare!!!!! I came here on a Sunday night and thought I had hit the jackpot because it was empty. Being a tired, working mom that was golden. Anyways...all went well until it was time to dry. So many dryers were malfunctioning that I can't recall how much money I spent to dry my clothes. The attendant tried his best to assist but he's not responsible for the inoperable machines. One pro is that you can return your laundry cars and get back any unused money. I'm giving this laundromat 5 stars for several reasons. 1. It has brand new washers ; 2. It is immaculately clean; 3. There are no televisions; 4. The place is actually AIR CONDITIONED with ceiling fans everywhere. I have been in the neighborhood for years and the previous two owners did a horrible job : broken machines; filthy store ; no AC. This newly renovated laundromat is TERRIFIC. And the employees are attentive and respectful. For that I am willing to pay the extra cost for machines. read more

Well they lost my two pairs of jeans!! I only brought three pairs and now I'm down to one pair!!! Instead of compensating me for their mistake I was basically told it was my fault for not pointing out I had jeans in the wash, that I must be lying, or that I lost them somewhere else?! In an area where laundromats seem to be abundantly small, jenky, and overcrowded, this place might as well be the Walmart of clean clothes for Kensington. State of the art machines whirl clean clothes all over the place with a different selections for each. Triple ( $5 ), double ($3.75), and single ($2.75) loaders cater to to how much you have to do (and how much you have to spend if you want really cram it in there). The Dryers will cost you 40 cents for each 8 minutes which isn't to bad. Vast amount of stuff to keep you preoccupied. My personal favorite is the classic PAC-MAN / GALAGA arcade game that still only cost a quarter to make. Bonus: this place is open 24 hours so if you need to get something clean for whatever weird reason at 3:00 in the morning; here is your spot. Dirty machines. Smell like weed. Bubble gum stuck on the inside. Arrows pointing the wrong way. They do not match the right laundry compartment. 35 cents waisted until you get the right one. The card swipe scrapes the crap out if your card after each use that by the next month, time to buy a new one. Error signs error signs error signs. And the people at the front desk act clueless.. This place is huge so you would think that you'd be done quickly with all these machines but think again. All of the dryers suck in this place. Most dryers don't even heat up. Just came back from the laundry facility only to be very upset and broke! The machine to wash the clothes are very expensive and then the dryer is $.35 for 8 minutes. Put my clothes in and came back an hr to empty the dryer and fold my clothes only to see that two of my very expensive lingerie got caught in the dryer, inside the maching and literally ripped into shreds. I spoke to the "boss" only to have him to tell me that there are signs everywhere and that it's not their fault and I "should have checked the machine." I go very upset and expressed to him it's not my fault that the machine's metal mesh is exposed and broken and that it ripped two of my very expensive ($40) lingerie. I told him that I want my money back and get compensated for the pieces that were torn apart. He told me that he will not compensate me and that he is too human and to work with him. I placed my card on the table and told him I want my remaining money and that I will not coming back. He then comes back 5 min later with my money and told me he will credit my $10 for the "trouble" . I declined and told him that I spent $40 on the pieces and that it will not be enough. I took my clothes and left. I didn't even get an apology. I don't recommend this place at all. Rude customer service and manager. $15 wasted on luandry and $40 on ruined lingerie. $55 waste and money I will never get back. HORRIBLE! read more

I dropped off my relatively small load in the evening and it was done the next morning. Great! Fantastic! At $1 per pound its more than some other places in the neighborhood, but whatever, maybe they do a really good job... The reason for my one star is they bleached one of my shirts. Why is there bleach anywhere near my colored clothes!? Luckily it was just a t shirt, so $20 down the drain. But imagine if it was one of my dress shirts, or worse, some pants. Generally ok until you have an issue. It's only a matter of time until they lose items from your load that you dropped off and then it becomes a major problem as no one speaks English and dispute resolution/help is impossible. They will yell at you in Chinese until you leave, especially if you prepaid. Don't drop off anything you are not prepared to lose. read more

This is an update to my first review. While many of the troubles I mentioned before still exist, they do seem to be trying harder to keep the dryers clean and working well. I hope it's a trend that continues! OLD REVIEW: Wish I could give minus stars. This USED to be a great mat. It is NOT Clean Rite anymore. For a few years now, it has been SuperClean, with a Chinese name attached to it. I think maybe Clean Rite was losing money on this and sold it to the current owner(s). It was not a good thing for this neighborhood. The worst thing with Clean Rite was troublesome dryers they couldn't seem to keep hot enough. If you told them the dryers weren't working or were dirty, they did something about it. There were always a lot of people in here because Clean Rite at least tried to keep it clean and working. And there are tons of apts around here. The new owner(s) hired mostly Chinese attendants, who are very nice and try to be helpful. But when things go wrong, as they do more and more here, the language barrier is insurmountable. They think they know what you mean but they don't. The last time I was here, I opened the dryer I had been using and was so assaulted by a bunch of gas, I nearly passed out. I was dizzy and nauseous for hours afterwards. Of course, my stuff wasn't dry. So the attendant tried to just address that. by giving me time on another dryer. She said the gas smell was "OK". How was it OK? Another time, there were FLAMES visible in the back of the dryer I was using--not in it but behind it. The guy that was there that time, who speaks very fluent English, also told me it was OK. I said it was not and he switched dryers. 90-98% of the dryers ALWAYS have blackened candy-gum-whatever-it-is inside. Am I just too picky? I think not, as that crap has come off at various times, on my coverlets, sheets, pillowcases and work clothes. It is miserable, if not impossible to get off. There is no excuse for it. It just shows that the owners don't know better! And that attitude has brought, over the last year or so, a different clientele. I don't know who they are but they don't live in this neighborhood. They are belligerent, pick fights with us regular customers, messy, etc. This laundromat has pretty much gone ghetto. This is not a racist remark, as it is all colors behaving badly. This is a 24-hour mat. The trends I'm describing make it even creepier to be here late at night. Combine all that with a No-Speaky English crew, who won't do anything when trouble starts and an apparently really cheap owner, it will not surprise me at all if they close this down within the next year or so. If it stays open, I don't think many of us around here will want to go here. This place used to be PACKED. Now it's only like that when a bad storm is coming in. read more

I come very early in the morning to do my laundry. The parking lot it easy to go into at that time. It, however, is dirty and the pavement is broken and never was repaired in the year that I've been coming. The machines work well and give a good washing for $2.25 for a double loaded machine. I use the dryers against the right hand wall and they heat up very quickly. I have one load and I dry for sixteen minutes and the cost is $2.95. I hold onto my wash card and I fill it up with $3.00 each time I come. The physical aspects work very well. What doesn't work well is the human aspects. The are nastily and don't care if I come back or if I don't come back. They pretend not to speak good English as an excuse for being rude.The store is open twenty-four hours seven days a week. If they need time to clean, common sense says that a sign should be posted saying that cleaning is being done during this time and either part of the store is roped off for cleaning and washing. Again, I recommend this store for the quality of the machines and the parking lot and the 24/7 access; however, please bear in mind that the workers are nasty and rude read more
