Update after Ruben's comment: I did think I'd be adding a public liar to the list also. Firstly we agreed on the counters AND cabinet at the same time so I'm not sure what you're talking about. You did in fact quote me $2500 for the kitchen counter tops bathroom vanity tops and cabinet in same bath - all to be installed. I'm not sure what you're talking about kept asking for discounts - my aunt can attest to that also being a lie as was with us. You were supposed to be done on 9th or 10th (texts attached now) but yet I had to keep texting and calling to finally get the job done on 10/22 - 2 weeks AFTER you told me you could do it. See texts attached. You're sending someone (apparently) tomorrow to complete the job (toe kick - text shows) so it's actually NOT complete. Also you too all the materials you could reuse and left piping all over my porch and the cabinet that can't be reused after saying you would take it all because you have dumpsters. So let's actually ensure we tell the truth instead of lie. Steer clear of this company unless you want to fight tooth and nail to get them to actually do the work on time (mine was an urgent and 3-4 weeks later, I am still waiting for it to be completed). My fiend is experiencing the same thing. They take your money then vanish and you have to text and call continuously. Also, don't be surprised when they do a crap job then start claiming that you should have paid more for installation (WTF?? Doesn't that come when buying a vanity and top from a company?). Anyways, you've been warned. I also rarely ever write reviews so this is literally how bad the service is.

One corner of the kitchen with finished countertop!

They did a fantastic job! Ruben was very easy and great to work with, and the whole project took less than a week to complete. The slab is quartz but is so beautiful a lot of people have mistaken it for marble. Not to mention the quote was less than two other companies I looked at. Will definitely be using them again with other renovations I do!!

Honestly, you get what you pay for. This isn't our first rodeo with counter tops so we know what to look for. They were the cheapest and we figured we'd go with them since this isn't our last home we are going to buy but it needed some granite counter tops. At the time there was 1, 5 star review on them so we decided to take the risk.. how bad could it be? At first they were very prompt. Ruben responded to emails quickly, showed us the slab. I mean it seemed to be flawless. Then the install happens. Luckily I was working from home that day but wow, it took forever. They were cutting and sawing in my front yard. They brought in the pieces and there were odd gaps where the counter top sits. Then... I hear, SLAM SLAM PAT BAM BAM.. what the heck? I looked and they were punching holes in my dry wall to get the counter top to fit. Ruben said the wall was uneven.. really? Our old house was built in the 50s and super uneven but the company that put in the granite, measured it so it would fit perfect. He said "You're going to put a backsplash, right?" What if I would have said no? Then he goes on to say that my husband wanted the big slab in one piece not two and the holes wouldn't have happened.. Ruben was the one who suggested the single piece! There were holes in the drywall were (luckily) a backsplash was going, and missing plaster pieces in a noticeable area. Then the guy drilled the faucet hole by eye meaning he didn't even measure it so it's off center. I had texted my husband and as soon as he got home asked them to come over. There was a lot of argument on the install but in the end they didn't pay for the damages and honestly, we just wanted it over with. The outcome: Luckily the backsplash went over the busted dry wall. The area where the plaster is missing looks bad because we can't get the texture to match the original. There are big gaps were we had to use a lot of caulk to cover. My husband had to buy a mounting kit for the sink since there was no support. The corners are different on each piece (one round, one square). Ruben said the granite is sealed and it's NOT. We had to seal it. There are areas were chunks of granite are patched by Travertine Artisans that had broke and there's orange stains in random areas. Yeah so if you don't know much about granite counter tops then this might be OK for you. If you've done this before.. go somewhere else.

If your preference is to be ignored and given the run around, this is the company for you! If you want to work with an honest company, who sticks by their word, I suggest you look else where. We have also been given the run around by Ruben after his crew tore up my kitchen walls. He claimed that this was normal following a counter install but I disagree. I kindly asked him to repair the drywall/ sheet rock they damaged (on April 11th), and was not even asking for them to repair the wood trim they damaged in multiple areas. Ruben was always trying to get in touch with the 'sheet rock guy' and even promised to have someone at our house in 'two days'. He once stated to have someone out on a Monday, but the following week, stated 'Mondays are difficult'. He is now leaving my messaged unread and stopped responding completely. It sounds like we are not the only people being ignored, based on the other reviewers. Also, we were promised to get a cutting board made out of OUR left over material, and of course, we never got that. It is now June 14th and still nothing from him. Ruben, man up and stand by your work AND your word. One more thing to speak on the type of company this is, when I visit the review page for Travertine, I get the following message: A number of positive reviews for this business originated from the same IP address. Our automated recommendation software has taken this into account in choosing which reviews to display, but we wanted to call this to your attention because someone may be trying to artificially inflate the rating for this business. Sounds shady to me! My take: Beware, or at least don't pay this company until all outstanding items are taken care of.

I have used them on a couple of jobs and plan to use them again. I found that they had a good selection of material and were very fairly priced. I was particularly impressed with the detail on my mitered edges which were done with perfect edge matching and no chips. Guys installed quick and cleaned up after. 5 stars!

Be wary! They failed to show as arranged/scheduled, and then ghosted me - thankfully, I did not prepay for this small project.

Avi was an absolutely delight. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. Very thoughtful approach in our initial meeting. So many images from their highly impressive portfolio to help us think through options. Excellent examples of communication and workflow from previous projects. Instantly ready to share previous customers we could reach out to for references. A really good balance between sharing his ideas for our project, but also really listening to our feedback on what we wanted/invisoned. All the right insights for how to keep us in budget, and very generous with (we can add this/that for little/no extra costs since we're already doing XYZ). We mainly requested a bid on two projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were very impressed with how realistic, but also open-minded he was with what portion of our "bonus" projects we could fit in. The formal quote came in fast after our initial meeting, was easy to follow, and fairly priced. Found the proposed timeline to be very well balanced for efficiency vs realism. Appreciated the suggestions provided for if we should/could "live-in" during the remodel vs. a timeline that would allow the bulk of the work to overlap with a time that we were going to be out of town already. Also insights on what it would be worth "buying in advance" to take advantage of sales, even if the actual work was delayed. We got a few quotes and would have felt confident moving forward with any of them when the time came, but the quality of their portfolio and Avi's attentive listening definitely put Teamwork Home Designs at the top of the list. Can't wait to work with them in the future.

My experience with this company was disappointing. Before hiring, I recommend asking to speak with…read moreprior clients and reviewing completed projects similar to the scope of work you are considering. The team appeared comfortable working on bathroom renovations; however, the shower diverter was not installed correctly, which caused the handle to be improperly aligned. We later hired a licensed plumber to inspect and correct the issue. Overall, the quality of work did not meet our expectations. Some aspects of the workmanship appeared rushed, and based on our experience, I would recommend exercising caution with detail-oriented tasks such as wood staining, drywall, painting, or door hardware installation. This project did not go as smoothly as anticipated, and I would not choose to work with this company again.

He did an amazing…read morejob and went above and beyond to make sure everything - absolutely everything, was perfect and to our liking. I was in awe of his attention to detail, the care he showed from the beginning of the process to the very end and the precision with which everything was executed. A+ indeed!!! Here is the whole story for those interested: We are in the process of bringing our whole house into the 21st century and we decided to start with the hardest, but probably most exciting - our kitchen. It took several months for us to come up with the design and pick the cabinets. We knew we would most likely pick IKEA cabinets as they are about the only place in town that offers great modern-looking cabinets. We looked at Lowes, Home Depot and Cabinets to Go, just to check them off the list and decided to go with IKEA in the end, just as we thought we would. Another reason we went with IKEA was because they offer an online kitchen planning tool where you can do your layout and see how everything fits and IKEA will even verify your plan and create a shopping list for you so you order everything that's needed. We also liked IKEA's price transparency - you make your plan, you pick your cabinets and the program calculates the total price of your kitchen for you. We even thought we would get the countertop there and have everything installed by IKEA, to make the process super easy and simple. So once we designed the kitchen, picked our cabinets and were ready to move forward with installation, it turned out not everything was that simple. IKEA told us that we would not be able to get what we wanted because they hardly do any customizations - they don't cut cabinets, they don't cut doors, they wouldn't put a panel we wanted on one of the kitchen walls and they wouldn't even adjust an insert for a 12" cabinet to have one shelf instead of two! And every time we talked to an IKEA rep they told us a different thing! We were getting frustrated and after several weeks of trying to make adjustments and make compromises, we decided that we need to go with plan B - find someone else to install our kitchen. While starting looking for someone else, I remembered that one of my friends, who had her kitchen done recently, highly recommended Aplus. I found the phone number and called. I left a message and Alex promptly returned my call. He came over that same week to look at the space and I immediately had a good feeling about him. I emailed him the kitchen plan and he provided a quote a few days later. The quote was comparable to IKEA price-wise, but we were getting everything we wanted and more, so I told Alex that we, of course, are going to pick APlus! Installation was very smooth and I felt like it was more of a collaboration than a hired contractor doing an installation. I told Alex that there were some things I was not sure about and wanted to see how each version would look before deciding on the final one and Alex was more than happy to accommodate and he provided lots of invaluable advice, too. He also provided extra services per our request. We wanted to install laminate on all three walls in the kitchen to serve as backsplash and when I told him that I had trouble finding someone to do it, he agreed to install it and it looks perfect! He also installed the exhaust hood - and it's perfect, of course. I tell you - we would hire Alex to do EVERYTHING he would agree to do with the rest of the remodel - that's how much we trust him and appreciate the quality of his work. I know I am going to sound very sentimental when I say this, but I truly feel that he is a rare gem that we were lucky to find. The love and care he puts into his work is absolutely priceless!

Koren was super pleasant to work with all around. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. We had requested a bid on two main projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were shocked by how much of the "bonus" projects we could fit in, and yet felt very confident with Koren's insights that these were realistically within our budget. The formal quote came in REALLY fast after our meeting, and was very easy to follow and extremely fairly priced. Was very impressed with how quickly they were ready to begin the work, and the forethought of asking us if we planned to "live-in" during the remodel vs. get an AirBNB or the like. We hadn't even thought of that. Would have been very confident in moving forward with ATX Remodeling. She worked with me on every little detail and gave great advice throughout. Michelle knows what she is doing and got me a quote that was crystal clear and very reasonable. Daniel ran the job and was fantastic as well. He had great insights, let me nag him about every possible question I could come up with, was flexible if I had any changes of heart about this or that, extremely easy to work with. All of his subs were top notch, which I can say as a business owner in the construction field myself is extremely rare. Plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, tile work, all were fantastic. He's surrounded himself with great people that get the job done right the first time. They didn't bat an eyelash at the art deco tile or the smart valves or any other unusual items I sent their way, they knocked it out with ease. And lastly Koren worked with me on any project details/paperwork that I needed. Was very responsive to everything I brought to him as I looked for assurances that I wouldn't have the same experience I had with the last folks. A very easy to work with company all around. I will be using these guys for future projects because the price is right, the quality is fantastic, and most importantly were willing to entertain any weird ideas I had. Your home is one of those things that has to be just right for you, and they made sure the bathroom remodel turned out just right for me. Would recommend them to anybody, and I'm a picky OCD guy, so that's saying something. Thanks again, ATX Remodeling!

I'll be updating all my social media reviews according. You'll notice that there are a sudden rash of bad reviews, not just from me. Do business with this guy at your risk.] I have tried to use this company twice. Both times, appointments were easy to set-up and Maria (not sure how to spell her name) was kind, helpful, and lovely. I had a minor flood and needed a company to work with my home insurance for the repairs. "Together Design" was one of four contractors I consulted, all with excellent reviews here and on Google. Avri the project manager was courteous and helpful, and was the last estimate I needed for the insurance company. I waited some weeks, but an estimate never came. I finally called the Avri's phone number on the caling card he cave me (I think I woke him up, sounded groggy at first). Avri said that my expectation for an estimate was misguided, and that he's being doing this job for quite a while. He said that the way "Together Design" works is that they only provided an estimate once I hired them. I said this is backwards, that I am to receive estimates and select the company I felt comfortable with in consultation with my adjuster. Avri stared to make excuses, none of which addressed my concern--that to consider them, I needed an estimate. I found his customer service quite rude: he kept cutting me off, he would not listen, he was defensive, made excuses, and so on. He stressed his experience, to which I responded three other contractors have already provided estimates and I was waiting for his. Avri said estimate-first is not how they do business, but he would get an estimate to my adjuster ASAP anyway. After a few days without an estimate, I went with another contractor. Maria called to follow up, and I told her my issues. She asked if I could give them another chance, I said not at the time, as time was of the essence and I needed the work to start yesterday. Disappointing, but I was ready to move on. Flash forward five months later, and I haired a crooked contractor who I am now unfortunately suing (cannot review them yet until that suit moves forward). I remembered Maria asking if I could give them another chance, so I decided to call again. Like the first time, communication was clear, easy, and Maria was very easy to work with. I was asked if I wanted to work with Avri again, and I said absolutely not given how poorly he handed the first time. Days later, however, I received a phone call and Maria said she was "calling with news." After she shared with the project managers my videos and photographs, they concluded my "scope" of my project was "not a good fit." I asked if it was "too small" or "two large" of a job. She said, "uhhhh . . . legally I can't say." I found this quite odd. She apologized, expressed wanting to help, but it was not something they are willing to do. I asked again why, and she would not say. Perhaps it was because I did /not/ want to work with Avri, but another PM. As I was about to post this review, I received a message from "Ido" who said their company /only/ takes on remodels from "start to finish." This was the first I have heard this excuse, it's certainly not mentioned in their advertising. If this were truly the case, I should have been told this upfront so I did not waste my time again. Maria asked I give them a second chance, and I did. This is a private business, and it's their right to turn down any client. Absolutely. It's also my right to report my experience. I'm trying to be careful not to be too judgement, but not being "legally" able to tell me why they wouldn't take the job the second time appears deceitful, as does "Ido's" explanation they /now/ only do start-to-finish remodels. Your milage may vary.
