It was once good. I used to stay here every year for the rhododendron festival. This year they lost my reservation. It usually takes a few years to lock one of these in.... Pretty frustrating to ring out. Fortunately COVID still had the party On lockdown, and I was able to secure somewhere else.

Got the the location and we had to wait for someone too come help the front desk person to check us in. Then we got checked in and we where told that we have to move our car to another parking lot else where? We have a company box truck and we can not just leave it in a random lot where we cannot see or hear the truck if the alarm went off. Not too confident in the door that separates us from other patrons as the little knob looks to be from the late 80's. I would recommend finding another hotel if you can, even if it cost more. Lastly our pillows had these weird black stains, not ideal!

Inside the coffee maker, I'm lucky I'm not in the hospital sick right now.

This motel was very dirty, it doesn't look like they clean very often. Also there is not enough parking for the amount of rooms they have. I went to to get ice and was approached by the manager asking if he could help me. I let him know that I was staying here and he apologized but still it's pretty sad when you have to keep watch on your ice. And they tried to tell me I can't fill my cooler up after paying $140 a night for this dump. I don't recommend staying here unless you absolutely have to. The place is a total dump, I wouldn't pay $50 a night for this room, the only reason I stayed here is because I've been on the road for a month and needed to get out of my truck. On the bright side there is a 7-11 next door but that is about the only plus to this motel. The only reason it got one star is because Yelp won't let me go lower on the rating.

Excellent location to rest for an evening in Eugene. For about $60 we had a decent little room (w mini fridge, coffee thing, etc) within walking distance to the university, downtown, and most importantly, right next door to 7-11. We'd picked out a handful of places to check out for lodging in the area but between the warmth of the gentleman at the front desk, the price, and the location, we were happy to end our search here. We were excited about partaking in the complimentary continental breakfast before we hit the road the next day but forgot about it until we practically in Salem.

Kate at the front desk checked me in and she remembered my name and I appreciated her hospitality and welcome. I don't always get to do the breakfast but this visit I was so happy to enjoy an incredible spread of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, English muffin, breakfast danish, you can make your own waffles, and there is oatmeal with almonds and cranberries and brown sugar. Orange juice and coffee are standard and they have a breakfast kombucha if you want something a little healthier and probiotic. They also have a happy hour with regional wine, bubbles, and local beer for really reasonable prices if you just need a refresher after getting back to the hotel. The location is unbeatable with just a couple of blocks to excellent places to eat downtown like The Davis, and the Eugene Public Library nearby.

The Saturday Market, Lion & Owl, VooDoo Donuts, Metro Cinema, Oregon Contemporary Theater, etc. I love that the room has hardwood flooring rather than some old tired carpeting. And that the ceiling - and some walls - have real wood paneling (not the kind in basements in the '70's). The breakfasts that are included and are generous - fresh fruit, bacon/sausage, eggs, fried potatoes, waffle bar, danishes, etc. The front desk is staffed 24/7. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and again, location, location, location!

Check-in was smooth, and the staff member who greeted us was genuinely pleasant and cool, giving us some extra water and few green bags of goodies (returned the next day), promising to wave the parking fee. That's where the positives ended. After a long drive, we dropped our bags in da rooms and went out for a dinner without inspecting our rooms a bit closely. When we returned later that night and checked the beds with a UV light, we were shocked to find stains on both beds. It was darn disturbing (photos attached)! We went down to the front desk to report it. The night staff told us there was no one available to change the linens and no other rooms available to change at full occupancy. Instead, we were handed a set of sheets and sent back to deal with it ourselves. After 10 PM, exhausted, we had no real choice but to accept it. In the morning, we raised the issue again with the new front desk rep. The replacement sheets were not much better, and despite our complaint, the response was limited to verbal apologies only. We were still charged full price for the night, plus a $20 parking fee for overfilled parking lot that's essentially had open access from the street. This is not the level of cleanliness or service expected from a Hyatt. Do your due diligence and do not assume standards are being met. Check your room carefully before settling in. Breakfast on the other hand was great! Variety of eggs, milks and healthy choices beat other Hyatt locations we stated at the next day in Portland. Loved it, and that what basically got the stars.

The breakfast was good and they had vegetarian sausage and bacon which I have never seen in a complimentary hotel breakfast! Only complaint is that when I didn't want my room cleaned, they put a weird note on my door and came in anyway. The gal at the front desk had bi idea what I was talking about and wasn't aware of the policy to enter even when the guest does not want anyone to enter.

Beautiful grounds and a lovely breakfast, plus an evening glass of wine are all included. Very good value. Not mentioned in any reviews that I read prior to staying here: a mainline of the Union Pacific Railroad is just three blocks away. At least three times during the dead of night, trains came through with the horns blowing loudly at each of many crossings through this part of Eugene. Unbelievably loud!!! People living in this area must be able to tune it out, but we were NOT used to this. Because the Campbell House is up a hill from the railroad, it seems that horns can be heard unimpeded by other structures (despite the massive 18 floor Ya-Po-Ah Terrace building nearby). I would suggest wearing ear plugs during the night. Nevertheless, I would consider staying hear again if traveling on my own, but my wife would probably veto it we were both traveling. We left sleep deprived to begin our 7+ hour drive home.

Shout out Jose- Manager training a new lady. Amazing guy. Front of hotel looks much better than the rest of it Who ever works the night shift 10/28 front desk.. probably shouldn't be in hospitality. I went down... spoke to him, he looks at me and straight ignored me. I was going to go down and get my welcome gift that you usually get when checking in but it was such a turn off.. I just left. The AC in the room reeeks of mold. I hate this with hotels because Mold actually can get you sick. ( should know this). Plus I had my baby with me. They lied to me earlier today about being sold out for tonight. Funny thing is, I worked with Hilton. I know systems are slow to update but the room I did request is still up tonight . It's 11:32pm. ( yes Guest can still check in) however it's somewhat unlikely being that we are out of tourist season in this area. Also room had no body wash. Not a hard fix but just had conditioner and a bottle of shampoo sitting on side of tub. Either way to end this review: 1. Rooms were decently clean. That's what Matters the most. 2. I don't like being lied to Hilton. :/. ---- I didn't take pictures this time but photos looked decently accurate. 3 stars is what I would give it. Would I stay again.. probably.
