I was anxious about the move realizing I had more stuff than originally thought. I had shopped prices and thought I'd never be able to hire professional movers. I then came across Trail Away Movers via a third party site and decided to call Stephen directly. He gave me a very fair price for 3 movers/4 hours on a very chilly Thursday night. I was still nervous but then I met Stephen and his team and was immediately reassured that they'd take care of it all for me. He packed the 17' UHAUL truck like a solid game of Tetris. Everything was safe and secure - and made it to the final distinction without issue. It took about 2.5 hours to move out and pack the truck. Then it took another 3 to unload and get all my stuff up three flights of stairs! Even the heavy recline sofa made it unscathed! The job was tough, but neither him nor his team gave up. They saw it to the end even after realizing my naive 4 hour estimate was clearly a misstep. They were polite, friendly, and they worked hard till the job was done. I normally never write any reviews, but Trail Away Movers deserves one. I found Trail Away Movers for a close friend of mine named Sam. Stephen and his helper Mase moved approximately a dozen and a half very heavy, and in some cases very bulky, furniture items down 3 flights of stairs and then unloaded at a different location. I am a strong man but couldn't budge some of these, and was amazed how this crew did it. Some of this furniture had to make it around some weird stairway curves. Stephen and Mase were very cooperative, professional, friendly, punctual, took extensive care to move everything without even a scratch. Stephen fairly priced the job and he did not hesitate to do this job on Easter, the only time frame that we could have it done on.
