Chicken waffles

Best chicken waffles I've had in Bend so far! Fried chicken was crispy, moist, and tender while the waffle was soft and fluffy. I loved how easy it was to slice through the meat and waffles. Syrup has just the right amount of sweetness. Service was quick and friendly. Will be coming back to try out more of their southern flare.

Chicken and waffles for post Dirckson Derby race day breakfast.

Ambiance was great, the music was enjoyable and the art had both of our kids engaged all through breakfast. The food was amazing. Chicken and waffles were crave worthy, breakfast bowl was huge and delicious and the breakfast sandwich with bacon didn't disappoint. Service was warm and pleasant. We will definitely be back on our next Bend trip. Worth seeking out.

Amazing food, huge portions, nice wait staff and clean space. I like that they are open for coffee and stay open for dinner.

It's very conveniently located within walking distance to the rest of downtown Bend. It can get pretty packed, and seating isn't always guaranteed, but if you have time to hang around, the atmosphere is well worth experiencing. There's a bar-style seating area where locals seemed genuinely settled in, giving the shop a true neighborhood feel. I ordered a large Belgian Mocha, which was rich in flavor while not being overly sweet. The espresso was definitely still there, so the drink was beyond just a dessert vibe. Service was friendly and efficient, with my drink ready in just a few minutes despite the crowd. Overall, this is a lively downtown coffee spot best suited for those who want quality drinks and don't mind a local crowd.

Additionally, our barista gave us a coupon for a free 12oz drink because it took more than five minutes for us to get the breakfast sandwich, it didn't seem like a long time to me but that is just good service. The music was tasteful and not too loud which helped cultivate the calm and pleasant ambiance. The pastries were delightful, so good in fact that I was unable to get a photo due to my inability to delay taking a bite as soon as we sat down. We had the ham and gruyère croissant and the plain croissant. The breakfast sandwich was great; the homemade English muffins were dense but not heavy, the bacon was perfectly thick and crispy, the egg was well done, and the pesto mayo tied it all together. The Latte was solid, I regret not trying the syrups which I found out were homemade after I had ordered, it seemed as though everyone who ordered after me got the cardamom syrup in their drinks. My girlfriend got the hemp milk latte, unsweetened. She is a matcha snob and was pleased with her order, which is a rarity for coffee forward places such as Thump. Stop at Thump if you're in Bend.
